A/N: Hey everybody, it's been a long while since I've actually posted a story, I hadn't had much inspiration to write really, but I'm back and hopefully this story will do better than the others I have written! So, sit back, relax, and enjoy the story!!!!

Unexpected Love
Tears flowed down the teleportress's cheeks as she remembered the scene that just happened days ago. "Watari, don't leave me like this!" The both of them stood outside of Alabama Castle talking to each other about a serious matter that had bothered the young woman for a long time. After seriously debating it for a long and slow year, she had finally confessed her love to the man that was walking away. He stopped and turned around,

"Viki, I don't want a relationship with you. I'm a ninja and you're- you're just..." He looked into her eyes. Hurt and disillusion clouded the young woman's eyes. She glanced up to see if she could find a trace of pity in his eyes. Sadly enough, there was none. He turned away, and started to walk back towards the castle. Viki's heart started to beat quickly,

"Watari!" He turned around looking back at her and then shaking his head. He turned around and walked towards the horizon leaving Viki watching him until he disappeared. She fell to her knees and the only sound that could be heard was the sound of Viki's heart breaking. After that painful encounter, Viki practically hid herself from the world for the next couple of days. On one occasion, she sat there in her room at Alabama Castle daydreaming about how much better her life could be. She often sat there dreaming about being in Watari's arms and feeling his lips touch hers; she basically lived her life by constantly dreaming. She had no real reason to live if Watari didn't love her. She moved towards her nightstand and opened the drawer. She smiled at the object that would finally set her free from all the pain that the world was mercilessly drowning her with. She reached for the object and pulled it out. It was hidden in the sheath. The dagger wasn't very big in size, but it could do significant damage with the right force. She pointed it at her chest and closed her eyes. She drew in her breath and extended her arm farther from her chest she then began to drive it to her chest. Before the dagger could penetrate her chest, the was a knock on her door,

"Viki, can I come in?" She sighed as she put the dagger away back into the drawer and locked it. She walked to the door and opened it. A short, old man stood there with a look of concern. She was one of the cheerful ones that usually smiled at everyone. For the past days, Piccolo noticed that she had become withdrawn from the world. He looked into her eyes. The once violet eyes that sparkled and shimmered with happiness were now blank had lost its luster. He sat down next to her and put his hand on hers, "What's wrong, my child?" Viki took her hand out of his hold and turned her back to him,

"Piccolo. I really don't want to talk about right now..." the old man shook his head sadly,

"Ahhhh...personal problems?" Viki nodded her head some what annoyed. Piccolo was begining to pry into something he shouldn't. She hated people who dug their nose into someone else's problems. She kept silent. Piccolo smiled and headed for the door. Viki looked up as he began to shut the door,

"Piccolo!" He turned around, "Thanks anyway." she smiled weakly. He smiled back,

"Remember Viki, all things that are meant to be, come in due time." He shut the door leaving Viki in her dark and gloomy room thinking about what her friend said.
