"Hajime-chan, deal!"

"Fine, Tsuzuki-san."

Terazuma slapped the cards down quickly. Tsuzuki fidgeted as he picked up his cards, and his brow furrowed in concentration. Terazuma kept his face blank, and he carefully fingered his cards with the air of someone who knew exactly what they were doing.

Hisoka and Wakaba hovered behind their respective partners.

Tsuzuki frowned, and leaned his head back to look at the boy.

"Hiiisoookaaaaa, help meeee." He begged. Hisoka raised an eyebrow.

"That's cheating, idiot." He informed Tsuzuki haughtily. Tsuzuki clasped his hands together and prostrated himself before the cool boy.

"But Hisoka-"

"I hope you lose." Hisoka said, folding his arms and turning his back to the game. Tsuzuki drooped onto the tabletop, whimpering. Terazuma smirked.

"I call." He said loftily. Wakaba giggled. Tsuzuki gave Terazuma a heated glare, before throwing his cards down.

"Pair of sixes." He offered lamely, praying that would be enough to beat the man across from him. Terazuma glanced at his cards, before setting them down neatly.

"Full House." He said.

Tsuzuki blanched.

"So… I win?" he asked hopefully. Hisoka rolled his eyes. Terazuma grinned.

"Not by a long shot." He then placed a finger on his chin, in a mock thinking pose. "Now, what should I make you do?"

Tsuzuki beat his head on the tabletop. Wakaba leaned close to her partner's ear, and whispered in it. Terazuma listened, nodding his head. Suddenly, his eyes widened.

"What?!" he yelped. Wakaba smiled innocently.

Hisoka felt a shudder of forbearing run down his spine. He frowned; this couldn't be good.

Terazuma turned back to Tsuzuki. He wouldn't meet the brunette's eyes, and he tugged at his shirt collar nervously.

"Right… uh, Kannuki… well, she says you should… umm-" he tried, but Wakaba cut him off.

"Tsuzuki-san, you have to kiss Hisoka-san!" she chirped happily.

Hisoka blanched this time.

Tsuzuki just stared at Terazuma. Said shinigami still refused to meet the eyes of his coworkers, and he was quietly picking up the cards and shuffling them compulsively.

Wakaba bounced over to Tsuzuki.

"Go on! Kiss him!" she urged. Tsuzuki just look at her forlornly.

"Wakaba-chan… don't…" he asked softly. Hisoka unfroze at these words. He felt as though his heart was being squeezed in a vice.

Wakaba frowned.

"Rules are rules, Tsuzuki-san. You lost, you have to do what we say." She scolded. Tsuzuki hung his head.

Hisoka piped up.

"Technically, that's not true. The deal was the loser had to do what the winner said. But this was your idea, not Terazuma's."

Wakaba pouted. But before she could argue her case, Tatsumi stuck his head in the break room and hollered at everyone to 'get back to work before they all find themselves with smaller salaries'. Terazuma and Wakaba skittered back to their office, and Hisoka started out the door too.

Tsuzuki grabbed his arm, and pulled the boy back gently. Hisoka turned, and looked at his partner questioningly.

Tsuzuki pressed his lips to Hisoka's softly. When he pulled away, Hisoka was flushed.

"Rules are rules!" Tsuzuki recited happily. Then he strode out of the break room whistling under his breath.

Hisoka blinked.

"Idiot. I told you, I hoped you'd lose."

Then he left the room too. And he never saw Watari's hidden camera in the corner, recording everything.
