The commodore sat wearily in his office looking through the window at the stars that glittered in the blackness of space. it was just a few short months since Elizabeth Swan had gone off with Will Turner the blacksmith. There was a short knock on the door and entered Gillette. "Sir they have found a replacement for Lieutenant Scott" "good good" remarked the commodore "but there is one problem" "What?" "She's a girl," said Gillette hoping not to get his head bitten off by the commodore who was in bad enough mood as it was.
A girl the commodore thought to himself, what have you let yourself in for this time James? All he needed, was a girl who was going to moan the entire time even if she just broke a nail while doing paper work as if it was some life threatening disease. She had probably never laid her hand on a sword let alone used one. She will have got to where she is now because her father or uncle will be high up in the navy or will be friends with an aristocrat or something like that. But little did he know was that the new girl was a girl with a fiery disposition and amazing ambition.
Meanwhile on the seastrike (the boat which was to replace the interceptor.)
A girl who looked about twenty-three was fighting using a sword against a man with a navel uniform the girl also had a uniform. "Careful Caitlin you nearly took my eye out!" yelled the man "sorry sir I was a bit over enthusiastic!" Said Caitlin pouting slightly. The man turned to her with a bemused expression on his face "Ok you win you better get some sleep as we will be getting to port royal just before dawn and you want to make a good impression on your new boss!"
The next morning the seastrike came into Port Royal commodore James Norrington was waiting at the port thinking I wonder what she is going to be like? His queries were soon answered when off the ship stepped the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. Their eyes met for a brief moment then they were torn apart by a passing carriage James made his way over to the girl what would he say? What would he do?
