Setting: Hogwarts, 2006 (the seventh year) through 2042 and flashbacks to 1987
Summary: Harry's daughter and her friend tell their life stories and reveal many interesting facts about their family.

Nina: I hate my family!
Kali: Why is that?
Nina: Because it's so bloody screwed up.
Kali: Your family is screwed up? Oh no, compared to my family your family is the very epitome of normal.
Nina: You don't know the half of it. Until I was five, I lived happily in the U.S. with my mother. But then she had to go and kick the can and suddenly I have to live with this totally random guy who's a complete stranger. I mean really can you imagine not knowing your father until you're five? Oh did I forget to mention that he's a fucking werewolf?
Kali: At least you knew who your father was. I didn't know who my birthfathers were until I was twelve.
Nina: (cheery and surprised) Hey! You never told me you were adopted! That's- (her voice changes to a tone of shock) wait. Did you just say 'birthfathers'?!
Kali: (matter-of-factly) Why yes, I did.
Nina: Ah- HOW is that possible?!
Kali: (nonchalantly) Oh, I'd be happy to, darling, but it's a ridiculously long story.
Nina: (very interested now) I can deal with long stories! Besides, it's the weekend and you don't have any classes!
Kali: turns a little bit in her seat and makes herself more comfortable Well, it all started about eighteen years ago, when my dad was in his seventh year...
