"I hate this class," Lila moaned sitting across the table from Harry. It was time for Divinations again and Harry was absolutely thrilled. Their first day back and their first class just HAD to be Divinations. Today they were working with Crystal Balls, just as a review from last year.

"Do you see anything in there?" Harry asked looking up from the foggy globe for a moment. Lila was staring hard into it trying to concentrate.

"I see... my reflection... and... yours." She shrugged, "Do you?"

"Same." Harry sighed and looked over at Lavender and Pavarti who were giggling excitedly while chatting with Professor Trelawney. Trelawney looked like she was making up some sort of misty nonsense again, most likely about him. She always loved to pick on him. He wondered how many times she had predicted his death. Too many to count, he thought.

"They look like they are enjoying themselves," Lila said in a less than amused voice. "I wonder how you'll die this time?" She smirked at him and Harry shot her a sarcastic look.

"Lavender... Lavender look at this!" Pavarti squealed and then looked up at the Professor. "Look at the Crystal ball! There are people in it!" She shrieked as half the class ran over to see what was happening.

Harry started to feel uncomfortable as all the eyes that were on the Ball were now on him. "Oh great..." He muttered to himself.

"Well... well..." Trelawney said in her usual misty voice and looked up at Harry with her huge glasses, but her gaze soon shifted to Lila. "Poor... Poor child." She continued. "So young, so, so young."

Lila raised a brow and cocked her head to the side, "Huh?"

"Your father died?" Lavender asked quietly and the room grew quite silent.

Lila looked a little startled, "Yeah he did? Why do you ask?" She asked slowly.

"She saw it child, yes that and..." Trelawney paused, being the drama queen she was. "You have an admirer." Trelawney's eyes lit up behind her huge spectacles as she said this, "Yes Pavarti you are quite the Love Seer." She smiled and Pavarti looked as though she might faint.

"I am!?"

Lila just rolled her eyes, "And who is this admirer you speak of?"

"Ooh I cannot tell you child," Trelawney then turned to Lavender and Pavarti, "And neither can they." She warned. "You cannot mess with Cupid."

Lavender and Pavarti looked as though someone just shot them through the heart with a bow. "Yes Professor," they murmured looking disappointed.

"Yeah sure," Lila shook it off and looked back into her own crystal ball. Harry just watched her for a minute. He couldn't believe that it wasn't him dying that got the classes attention. Maybe this table was cursed; whenever he had sat there he was always made the center of attention. Maybe they bad luck got passed on? No probably not, he thought.

As Harry and Lila climbed down the ladder to get out of the Divination room they spotted Lavender and Pavarti at the bottom waiting for them.

"Hello ladies," Lila sighed, "Will you be following me around for the rest of the day or are you going to talk to me?"

"Well you see... we er- we want to tell you what we saw." Lavender squeaked. "But we aren't allowed. So we want to give you a clue."

"A clue?" Harry raised a brow, "why don't you just tell her strait out and lie to Trelawney."

"Because she would See it!" Pavarti said.

"No she wouldn't, that old bat-"

"Here." Lavender shoved a tiny piece of parchment into Lila's hand. "We have to go." And with that the giggling pair scurried off.

"What a load of rubbish," Lila said rolling her eyes and shoving the note into her bag.
