"So I was right then," Ron said with a smug look on his face.
"Yeah, and way to rub it in mate." Lila rolled her eyes. "What I don't understand are these stupid clues. Why don't they just out right tell me since I'm obviously too dumb to understand them."
"Ron understood one, there's no way your too dumb." Ginny Weasley had come to sit next to them at the Gryffindor Table in the Great Hall. It was dinnertime already and the sky had started to turn a dark shade of purple.
Ron's face had also turned an odd shade of purple. "Shut up Virginia." He snapped.
Hermione found this oddly hilarious. "She has a point Lila."
"How do you know about all this Ginny?" Lila asked.
"Oh I was talking with Lavender and Pavarti earlier." She replied. "Sounds very exciting. Did you get their next clue yet?"
Lila perked up as Ginny said this, "Do you know what the next one means?!"
"No, they wouldn't let me see it." Ginny said in a disappointed tone.
"There's another one?" Said Harry, who had been sitting quietly soaking in the conversation.
"Yes." Lila sighed, "I don't get this one either." She said holding up a small piece of green parchment.
"Ooh give it here!" Hermione said and snatched the clue from Lila. Ginny leaned in close to Hermione trying to examine it as well.
"The color green?" Ginny asked confused.
"I don't know. What does green have to do with ANYTHING?" Lila said exasperated.
"Maybe it's his favorite color?" Ron said.
"You mean I have to go around asking every boy in our school what his favorite color is?"
"Naa, that's too broad of a clue." Hermione said, "What do you know about his house?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well do you know what house he's in?"
"No, all I know is he plays quidditch." Lila said starting to get a little testy.
"Well, maybe it's a clue to his house then." Hermione concluded. "And that means he's in Slytherin."
Ron nearly choked on his food. "You can't be serious." He laughed, "What Slytherin in their right mind would like Lila?"
"Hey!" Lila said offended, "What's so wrong with me that they wouldn't like me?"
"You're a Gryffindor."
"Well Ron, what else could the color green mean?" Hermione said, a hint of anger in her voice. "Your not the only one who can figure out clues around here!"
"She's right you know," Ginny said still staring at the parchment as though it would just tell her what it ment any second now. "What else could the color green mean?"
Lila put her head down on he table, "Just when I was getting excited to know too. Now I'm not so sure if I want to..."
