Harry quickly walked into the common room. It was nearly empty with the exception of Neville, Lavender, Pavarti, and Lila. As the portrait hole slammed behind him Lavender and Pavarti jumped. Neville, who was furiously writing a letter didn't seem to notice, and Lila who must have been sleeping woke with a start.

"Bloody hell what was that?" She rubbed her eyes and looked around, "Bad day?" She asked realizing it was Harry who had nearly given her a heart attack.

"Sort of," He shrugged and started pacing about the common room. Lila just watched him confused; Lavender and Pavarti had begun whispering back and forth.

"Harry that Chang girl is a wreck I wouldn't listen to her if I were you." Pavarti said and Lavender nodded.

"What?" He asked startled, "How did you-?"

"Crystal ball," Lavender said sounding quite proud of herself.

"What you're spying on me now?" He bellowed not at all pleased.

"No! No Harry not at all! We can't control what we See in the ball, it just comes." Pavarti reassured him but Harry wasn't going to stand for this.

"Well I hope you had a merry time!" He shouted and stormed up into the dorms, oddly, the dorm was empty. Harry stood there alone for a second trying to figure out where everyone was if they weren't in the dorm or the common room but soon gave up. It didn't matter. Sitting on his bed he stared out the window replaying the day's events in his head when his thoughts were interrupted by a voice.

"Harry? Harry are you alright?"

Harry turned around, the voice sounded very female. Squinting through the darkness he realized it was, in fact, female. "What are you doing in here, Lila?" He said in a harsh tone.

"Well its not every day you come in the common room and about give the fat lady whiplash." She remarks sitting down next to him.

"Its also not everyday a girl is in the boys dorms."

"I'm willing to risk getting in trouble... and rumors, to find out if my friend is alright." Lila shrugged. "Now is my friend ok?"

"Kind of," Harry said becoming less tense. "I don't know really."

"You don't know?"

"It's been a rough night," He remarked.

"I see, anything you can tell me?"

"Ah..." Harry thought about this for a moment. It would be kind of nice to get advice about Cho, but then again he didn't know if he wanted anyone to know. After fighting with himself for a minute he decided he would tell her everything. She seemed as trustworthy as Hermione or Ron... so why not? After he was finished Lila just stared at him for a moment.

"Well," She began but paused and smiled at him. "It wasn't an entirely bad night then eh? Cho did kiss you correct?"

"Well yeah, but..."

"She seems rather... er... confused. I dunno Harry. I just don't know." Lila told him honestly.

"I know, I don't know either, I don't know what to think of anything anymore." He shrugged. "I'm not even sure if I like her anymore."

"Well then, think about the kiss."

"What?"

"Think about the kiss," Lila repeated. "It's an old girl trick, when you kissed, did you feel anything? Or were you just surprised?"

"Well I felt something-"

"-Not- what I meant. Just think for a second." After a few minutes of sitting quietly while Harry tried to figure this out Lila rolled her eyes. "Ok look," she said as she pulled him in close. "Concentrate," Lila commanded him then gave him a quick kiss. "Feel anything?"

"Er..."

Lila's eyes widened once she realized what she just did. "Ah, Sorry?" She said scratching the back of her head embarrassed, her cheeks turned a very deep rose. For once she was thankful for the cover of the pitch-black room. Lila stood up and turned to leave, "I think I'll go now," She said in a high-pitched voice.

Harry sat there dumbfounded for a minute trying to think of what Lila was trying to get through to him. "Er... wait, I-I think I get what you mean." He tried to reassure her.

"Uhm, right. Goodnight Harry." She said quickly and left, shutting the door behind her.

Harry lay back on his bed and stared up into the darkness. He tried to sort out the night events, the –whole- nights events. Trying to figure out what Lila was saying about the feeling or some rubbish something clicked in his head. Cho's kiss certainly did feel different from Lila's. Just as his thoughts started to slow and his mind stopped wandering her heard the flutter of wings. Opening his eyes he looked over at his pillow to see a fluffy owl with a pink ribbon around its foot. On the other foot it carried a letter. Curious, Harry took the letter and strolled over to the window to read it in the moonlight.

Harry,

Please do not listen to that Chang girl. She's in a confused state right now and might now know what she is doing. And please don't be mad, we weren't spying, only trying to help.

-Lavender & Pavarti

PS~ Lila looks awful upset, perhaps you should talk to her? She doesn't seem to like us much.

Harry crumpled up the note and threw it out the window. "Bloody annoyances." He muttered.
