Chapter 1 Kouga Lord of the Eastern land was on his way to see Lord Naraku of the Northern lands about some apparent pressing matters. Lord Kouga was not in a good mood, he just asked Lady Kagome of the Southern land to be his mate for the fourth time, and again she had declined. However Lord Kouga was not one to be easily discouraged. But now was not the time for such thoughts for the carriage had come to a halt. Kouga got out and was escorted to Lord karakul's private court. Here he saw Lord Naraku sitting in his chair, he did not rise to greet him. Kouga growled at the show of disrespect.
"Lord Kouga," Naraku began," I have a proposition for you."
"Oh, really? And what type of proposition would that be, Lord Naraku?"Kouga asked.
"I know you desire the miko youkai of the Southern lands, Lady Kagome,"again Kouga growled,"I wish to help you to acquire her as a mate."said Naraku.
"And what, pray tell would you gain from this arrangement, Naraku?"
"Two powerful ally, of course. And perhaps some...ah...assistence in getting rid of the Western lord."
"You want me to go with you against Lord Sesshoumaru? Are you mad? He is the strongest youkai in over a millennium."Kouga said in disbelief.
"I am told that people are willing to go through amazing lengths for love. Do you not love Lady Kagome?" asked Naraku. Kouga hesitated for a few minutes. Finally he gave Naraku an answer.
"I agree to your terms Lord Naraku. What is your plan?"asked Kouga. From his chair Naraku smiled evilly.
