The Titans had been watching a series of fires for some time now. In woods, on hills, and in a bakery shop, so far six hardly controlable fires with no explanation of how they started. Robin suspected that the fires were covering up some sort of illegal trade or smuggling. on the last two fires the Titans had been called in to help contain the fires and calm the plubic. All of the Titans were starting to question these strange fires and why they were so impossible to control.
'Well, I think that we can rule out the possibility that they are completly coincedental', said Raven as they returned from the latest fire.
"Yes, but we can never be sure.", said Robin."Beast Boy, why don't you map out all six of the fires. If we are dealing with smugglers the fires may be in some sort of a pattern."
"An excelent idea," Starfire agreed. "perhaps a pattern will show us the location of the next fire."
"If there is a next fire." said Cyborg as Beast Boy got out a map. "Mabye we got lucky and the smugglers got trapped in their own fire and-"
"perished?" continued Starfire.
"That would be good." mumbled Beast Boy as he rubbed the bump on his head. He had finished mapping the fires was not keen to fight another. He glanced at the paper,"Uh, guys. you should look at this, like now."
As the Titans gathered aroung their green friend the realised what he was talking about. All of the fires where in a more or less straight line in varied distances from eachother heading directly for the bay, and the Teen Titan tower.
Robin took a red marker and drew a straight line from the fires to their tower. "Well i am guessing that the next fire is somewhere along here. However random the fires are, whoever is doing this seems to be moving at a pretty constant pace so if for example the next fire was now, it would be exactly here." Robin pointed to a place on the map creepily close to the Titans Tower.
Everyone started blinking. Raven walked over to the window and looked out,"Hey Robin, I think you were exactly right as to the location of the fire."
Robin was startled, "Titans, out!"
