Summary:
Anzu (Tea) has been thinking about someone who no one would suspect she has a crush on-or possibly even loves. Her thoughts are formed into two poems which explain her confusion about him and why they could never be together.
This is dedicated to Demented Insane Spirit who writes some very awesome Anzu/Marik fics. I hope to see an update for The Book soon, DIS!

You may want to note that this isn't one of my best works, because I'm not very into the pairing [sweatdrops] and I'm currently listening to a bunch of Shakira songs, specifically Ojos Asi and Eyes Like Yours (the same song, but the first one's in English and the second version is in Spanish).
If you don't like the pairing of Anzu/Marik I suggest you leave now because flames cannot and will not be tolerated.

Unexplained Love
No one understands how I love him so
Why they can't accept it, I may never know
Even if he hurt us, made all our lives hell
There're shadows in his past that he'll never tell
His mystery intrigues and I long to get close
But this hidden love remains so that it never shows
I remember the cool blush from when our eyes met
His image pasted in my mind so that I'd not forget
Marik, so evil and lonely, sadistic and insane
Though all of these true, my love can't be explained…
Eyes Of Sadness
Shadows seem to follow him, he's endlessly haunted
But somehow I'm drawn to him, though others are daunted
I can see the sadness that lingers in his eyes
And I hear unspoken pleas, as if his soul cries
He struggles with himself to do what is right
Things that torment him have engulfed the light
Marik, wanting revenge, wanting power, control
Having a broken heart, that I wish to make whole
Eyes deep and brooding, he hides in the dark
Insane as he is, he's stolen my heart…
