NaruSaku Birthdays: Part 1 – Sakura

The Sun started to slowly set over Konohagakure no Sato.

Within the village was a very nice home that belonged to none other than the Hokage of Konohagakure, Naruto Uzumaki, and his wife, Sakura Uzumaki née. Haruno.

Today was a special day. It's Sakura's birthday.

Right now, the matriarch of the Uzumaki household was sleeping peacefully in her and her husband's bed. The moment the sunlight sneaked through her window and radiated upon her face, her eyes fluttered open as she sat up and gave a yawn as she stretched. She turned her head and noticed her husband wasn't in bed next to her. She chuckled to herself with a smirk on her face.

"Alright… time to get ready for the day." Sakura said as she got out of bed. "Pfft. Yeah right. Like I'm ever ready for whatever that knucklehead ever has planned on my birthday. Or our anniversary. Or even Valentine's Day." Sakura said as she stretched a bit more. She headed for the bathroom in her room only to find cherry blossom petals by their room's entrance causing her to sigh. "He never wastes any time." Sakura said as she walked over, knelt and picked up one of the petals. "That baka." Sakura said with pure affection as she smiled with a tint of pink on her cheeks.

She wasn't due at the hospital any time soon, thanks to the loveable baka of a Hokage himself no doubt, so she decided to take the hint and follow the trail. She left the bedroom and followed the trail of pink petals that led her all the way downstairs and into the living room/dining room where she found her husband sitting at the dining room table, drinking tea.

"Alright, what's the surprise?" Sakura asked with her hands on her hips.

"Hmm? Oh, Ohayō (Good morning), Sakura-chan." Naruto greeted his wife with a smile.

"Naruto~, what do you have planned?" Sakura questioned her husband.

"I don't understand what you mean." Naruto said with a shrug.

"Where are the kids?"

"Probably still sleeping." Naruto said as he had more tea, causing Sakura to sigh.

"Alright. I'll play along." Sakura said with a shrug as she made her way over to a seat at the table. "Neat little trick with the trail of Sakura petals. Classy." Sakura said with a smirk as she sat down across from her husband.

"What do you mean?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Naruto~." Sakura pointed her thumb towards the trail of cherry blossom petals that led into the room and extended all the way up the stairs.

"Oh. Those must have been Hanami. No doubt for those Hanami Bakudan (Flower Viewing Bombs) she's so proud of." Naruto said, right before a small round pink paper bomb landed on their table. "Like that one." Naruto said, gesturing to the ball right before it went off, scattering cherry blossom petals everywhere.

"Surprise! Otanjōbiomedetō, Kaa-chan!" (Happy Birthday, Mom!) Shinachiku, Hanami and Arashi cheered as they had appeared with a sizeable cake on a platter in their hands.

Sakura blinked her eyes in surprise. She chuckled as she held her forehead.

"I should not be surprised by this, but I am." Sakura said with a bright smile.

"Yes! You didn't suspect a thing!" Hanami cheered with her big ol' Uzumaki grin.

"I'm pretty sure she did." Shinachiku said as they all placed the cake onto the table.

"Then goes to show how great we are at this." Hanami said with a grin as her father laughed in agreement.

Sakura couldn't help but laugh as well. She looked to see that the cake was white with pink icing, with little pieces of frosting in the shape of cherry blossoms and pink petals, along with strawberries and umeboshi plums scattered around the edge of the cake, all while in the center drawn in icing and frosting was the insignia their family now had: the red Uzumaki swirl surrounded by a white ring that was represented the Haruno family. The cake even had four sparklers acting as candles and a small little banner saying, 'Hooray for Sakura-chan'.

"Hope you love it, mama." Arashi said with a smile.

"Yeah, we baked it ourselves!" Hanami said with a grin.

"It was mostly Shina though." Arashi pointed out.

"We would have helped more, but he kept on saying 'no' to me adding extra flare to it." Hanami said, pursing her lips into a pout.

"You kept wanting to add more to it. At that point it wouldn't be much of a cake anymore." Shinachiku clarified.

"You just have no vision for taste, dattebara!" Hanami argued.

Sakura couldn't help but widen her smile. To this day, she couldn't believe how blessed she was to have these three as her children. All this was thanks to the man sitting across from her. Her husband, the Rokudaime Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki.

"Arigato." Sakura said with a bright smile, making her entire family smile brightly as well.

"I call cutting it up!" Hanami exclaimed as she pulled out a large cutting knife, making her family flinch in slight fear.

"No!" Shinachiku and Sakura called out.

"How about all three of you cut it together. All three of you kids serving your mother the first piece sounds really nice, dattebayo." Naruto said with a nervous smile and a sweat drop down the side of his head.

"Oh, good idea, tou-chan!" Hanami said with a grin as Shinachiku, Arashi and Sakura sighed with relief.

'Good thinking, Naruto.' Sakura thought with a relieved smile.

Shinachiku and Hanami held the grip of the knife and cut a piece for their mother and put it onto a paper plate that Arashi had in his hands, then the youngest of the clan presented it to their mother, along with handing her a fork.

"Itadakimasu." Sakura said after gently clapping her hands, then took a bite of the cake, causing her to moan with delight as she tasted the sweetness of strawberry jam with the tangy taste of umeboshi. "Yum! Best one you guys made so far." Sakura said with a joy-filled grin.

"Thanks, kaa-chan!" Hanami said with a grin.

"Anything on your special day, dattebaro." Shinachiku said with a smile.

"Well, as much as I'd like to stay, Shikamaru's already bugging my clones. Time for me to head into work." Naruto said as he stood up from his chair.

"Oh, at least take a piece before you leave, Naruto." Sakura said.

"No worries, Sakura-chan. Your bright, beautiful smile already has filled me up for most of the day anyway." Naruto said, smiling to his wife.

'How cheesy.' Sakura said with an amused smirk. "Nice try, Naruto, but I'd rather you take a piece then have ramen for breakfast again." Sakura said, causing Naruto to chuckle with a bit of an embarrassed grin and rubbing the back of his head. After Arashi retrieved a stack of paper plates, Sakura cut a piece for Naruto and placed it onto a paper plate, and with a little help from Shinachiku, who saw this coming, sealed it away in a small scroll. "Here. No way I want you to miss out on this today." Sakura said as she handed her husband the scroll filled with his slice of cake.

"Arigato, Sakura-chan." Naruto said with a smile as he then kissed her on the forehead. "I'll see you later tonight." Naruto said before he started heading for the door.

"Naruto." Sakura spoke up.

"Hmm?" Naruto stopped and turned towards his wife.

"Please, promise me you won't go crazy with whatever you have planned today." Sakura said with her hands on her hips.

"Can't really promise that. I mean, I'll try, but… you are the only person in this whole universe who drives me crazy after all." Naruto flirted with a smirk and flirtatious, sly eyes.

'That one kind of hurt.' Shinachiku thought with a dull smile and half-lidded eyes while Hanami chuckled with a grin. Luckily his little brother's expression was dull than chipper like their sister's own after that line, which he was glad about.

"Jā matane!" (See you guys later) Naruto said with a toothy grin and wave as he headed off to grab his gear like his short-sleeved long orange haori decorated with black flames at the hem with small dark orange rope with three crystal gems attached to it keeping it tied around Naruto. After putting on his shinobi sandals he headed out the door to start the workday.

Sakura sighed as she sat back down.

"Your father sometimes. Really." Sakura said with a bit of a smile as her cheeks were flushed.

"Kaa-chan~, you're blushing~." Hanami pointed out, causing her mother to flinch with a look of embarrassment.

"Seriously, how do you keep blushing over those types of lines?" Shinachiku said resting his cheek onto his hand.

"I thought it was sweet." Hanami said with a grin.

Sakura cleared her throat as she tried to have a dignified expression.

"A-Anyway…" Sakura proceeded to take another bite of her cake. "What was your father thinking about cake for breakfast?" Sakura said, trying to sound critical to hide her embarrassment from blushing over her husband's cheesy attempt at flirting. Which, sadly for her, worked.

"Duh. Isn't it obvious? It's because your surprise today is even sweeter!" Hanami pointed out, as if it were obvious.

"Speaking of which… what does your father have planned for today?" Sakura asked.

"Mm~." Shinachiku, Hanami and Arashi looked to the side, deciding not to answer.

"Oh, come on." Sakura said with a frown.

"Sorry, kaa-chan. He made us promise not to tell. Uzumaki code and all." Shinachiku said.

"Plus, what fun is a surprise if you know what it is." Hanami added.

"Except your father's surprises for me tend to be… over-extravagant." Sakura said as she started cutting up pieces of cake for her children.

"Isn't that a good thing? It just shows how much he loves you, dattebara." Hanami defended for her father's actions.

"Yeah, but sometimes his expression of love can be a bit-"

"Messy? Yeah, we've noticed." Shinachiku said with a tired smile as he remembered his father's past expressions of love for his mother.

"Eh. What does a bit of a mess matter?" Hanami said with a shrug.

"That time he filled the whole house with cherry blossoms was more than a bit much." Shinachiku pointed out with a small frown.

"And that painting he had you make on the Hokage mountain." Arashi added.

"I thought it was an awesome family painting." Hanami said with her arms crossed and her head held high.

Sakura sighed at the memory as she placed a slice of cake in front of both Hanami and Arashi, making them both immediately excited.

"Please, at least tell me that your father isn't planning anything bigger than anything he's done in the past." Sakura pleaded as she placed another slice in front of Shinachiku.

The Uzumaki siblings looked to one another in momentary silence.

"Uh~... well…" Shinachiku rubbed the back of his head, giving a hint to his mother on their answer.

"You want us to lie to make you feel better, kaa-chan?" Hanami asked with a mouth full of cake.

'Oh boy. In for a big one then.' Sakura thought with a dull expression but had a slightly amused smile on her face.

.

.

Naruto walked down the streets of Konoha, humming a cheerful tune as he had a pep in his step while making his way towards the Hokage Tower.

"Look, it's the Hokage." A male civilian said. "Huh… he looks ready to skip any second."

"Oh boy, is today that day?" Another male civilian, who was in a group of three, asked with a dreading frown.

"Yup. It's the Hokage's wife's birthday today." Another male civilian said with a frown.

"Oh no. Another year, another day where he makes us married men look inadequate." The third one in the group said as he and his companions had an aura of gloom around them.

"Oh, dammit, not again." A middle-aged male shopkeeper said with a frown.

"What's wrong?" A middle-aged woman, sweeping the front of the shop, asked her husband.

"N-Nothing." The shopkeeper said.

"Oh, Rokudaime-sama looks so happy today." The woman said as she then gasped with a smile. "Is today his wife's birthday?"

"Uh… yes." The shopkeeper said with a frown.

"Oh! I wonder what he plans to do today! He always goes big in expressing his love! I'm so jealous of Sakura-sama sometimes." The woman said with a smile, before realizing what she said. "Suman, anata (darling)." She apologized to her husband.

"No, no, it's alright." The shopkeeper said, putting on a smile, but on the inside, he was feeling gloomy and envious. 'Damn that man! He was a nuisance when he pranked us to no end when he was a child and now as an adult, he's an even bigger pain with how bombastic he is when it comes to celebrating his love for his wife! How are we supposed to compete with something like painting their entire love life around town, leading into the heart of the village? So unfair! Curse that Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!' The shopkeeper mentally complained with anime tears representing his feelings of inadequacy.

Naruto was in too much of a good mood to even pay attention to the men who were frowning and glaring at him with envy and annoyance, while the women smiled proudly and in support for the Uzumaki in achieving another successful grand gesture for his love for his wife.

Soon enough he made it to the tower, where Kiba and Shino were exiting.

"Hey, Naruto." Kiba greeted the kage with a wave.

"Hey Kiba! Hey Shino! Isn't today great?" Naruto greeted the two with a bright smile, only for the Inuzuka and Aburame to frown at him.

"Great for you maybe." Kiba said with slight annoyance in his tone.

"What's with you? Tamaki put you out in the doghouse?" Naruto teased with a grin.

"The Hell?!" Kiba shouted with a pissed off anime look.

"He and I are just feeling a bit depressed and inadequate. The reason why you ask? It's because you always take your tributes to your wife to such extremes." Shino said with a stoic frown, but one could tell on the inside he was feeling as much annoyance as his old teammate.

"Yeah, what the hell, Naruto?! Why you got to make us married men look bad every year, huh?" Kiba said with annoyance.

"I have no idea what you guys are saying. I just show Sakura-chan how much she means to me, just like any other man would for his wife, dattebayo." Naruto said with a smile.

"I doubt very many men in this village can pull off lavishing the entire village with décor entirely of Sakura petals. Even managing to create ginormous crowns of those flowers upon the heads of the Hokage Monument." Shino stated.

"Or any for that matter." Kiba said with his hands in his jacket pockets and a deep frown on his face with his bottom lip out.

"Hey, all it takes is a little time and some Kage Bunshin. I mean, I'm the Hokage, and if I can manage that than any man can!" Naruto proclaimed with his classic toothy Uzumaki grin filled with pure pride and bliss. "Ja ne!" Naruto said farewell to his friends, as he happily marched into the tower with his pep never leaving his step.

"Not Any Man Can Literally Make Thousands of Himself to Make All That Possible, Boke!" (Idiot!) Kiba yelled out, but Naruto was in too much of a good mood to even really pay attention as he strutted right through the door. "Damn that man!" Kiba said with annoyance.

"It can't be helped. Naruto always acted that he would give Sakura the whole world as an expression of his love, even when we were children." Shino said.

"Yeah, and given the evidence of the past, you know he would if he could." Kiba said with an annoyed pout.

"No need to dwell on it. Let's just head back to our respective places of work and mentally prepare ourselves for whatever our wives have to say later tonight." Shino said as he turned and started walking away, with Kiba following with an annoyed audible groan.

"That annoying bastard." Kiba commented as he followed his friend.

Meanwhile, Naruto was just making his way through the tower and up the stairs as people greeted him. He was so blissfully unaware of the forced smiles a lot of the men had as they were not looking forward to being outshined once again by their Hokage.

Naruto continued until he made it to the doors of his office and went right in.

"Morning, Shikamaru~!" Naruto chimed with a bright smile.

"And so it begins." Shikamaru mumbled with a frown as Naruto practically skipped to his seat.

"Man, what a stack! Best to get right into it, dattebayo!" Naruto said with a bright smile as he sat down and made a couple of clones to help him out. "Don't want to be late for tonight after all."

"Right, because 'everyone' is looking forward to tonight." Shikamaru said sarcastically as he rolled his eyes.

"Oh, why thank you Shikamaru. I'm so happy to know that you're happy for me too!" Naruto said smiling joyfully to his long-time friend.

"Not what I meant, baka." Shikamaru said with a frown. "So… how big is your gift to your wife going to be this year?" Shikamaru dared asked the question.

"So big the heavens won't be able to ignore it!" Naruto cheered as he stood up from his seat with pride.

"Literally, knowing you." Shikamaru said as he sighed. "I hate you around these times of year. In fact, ever guy does."

"What? What do you mean?" Naruto questioned.

"Your gestures to Sakura are way too over the top. Makes all us guys look bad with ours by giving them the idea that we aren't putting in enough effort as we should be." Shikamaru explained.

"Shikamaru… you barely put effort into nearly everything you do. You should be one of the last people to complain about this." Naruto said with a dull expression.

"But my wife is one of the firsts." Shikamaru clarified.

"Hmm. Good point, but then again, it is you." Naruto countered with his arms crossed.

"Yeah, and she still tries to fight the losing battle." Shikamaru said with a frown.

"Hey, she got you to marry her, so it proves it's not an impossibility to win." Naruto said with a shrug.

"You are never normally this smart with comebacks." Shikamaru said with narrowed eyes.

"Today is such a big day that I am super hyper-focused! Nothing can bring me down, 'ttebayo!" Naruto exclaimed with pride as he thrust his fists into the air.

'I really wish there was right now.' Shikamaru thought with a tired frown.

.

.

Sakura got dressed for the day. She was now dressed in her high color sleeveless, asymmetrical twin tail red with white lining quipao, black compression arm sleeves, spring iris-colored pants that stopped a bit pass her knees and was putting on her pair of ankle-strapped sandals.

"Alright, I'm heading out." Sakura said to her children, who were standing behind her.

"Already? I thought you weren't due at the hospital for a while?" Hanami questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah, but I want to visit your grandparents before I get to the hospital. Your father's no doubt going to occupy my time once night hits, so I want to spend a little time with them before that happens." Sakura said as she finished putting on her sandals. "I'm heading out now." Sakura said with a smile, but then immediately got serious as she faced her children. "Now promise me… that whatever your father has planned, and I know you three are involved in it as usual, that it will not cause any damage whatsoever."

"You mean besides the hearts of men that will be broken that they can't do what tou-chan can?" Hanami asked.

"And the migraines. Don't forget the migraines." Shinachiku added.

"Yes, besides those." Sakura said with a nod.

"We promise." The Uzumaki siblings said in unison.

"Kaa-chan, can I come see O bāchan and Ojīchan with you?" Arashi asked his mother.

"Sure." Sakura said with a smile as her youngest put on his blue ninja sandals and took his mother's hand. "Hanami, don't cause any trouble today." Sakura ordered.

"Why would I ever? And on my own mother's birthday too. Ye of little faith." Hanami said with her hands behind her head as she looked to the side. The smile on her face looked reminiscent of a feline's.

"Shina." Sakura addressed her eldest.

"Yes?" Shinachiku stood up straight.

"Keep an eye on your sister. The best you can at least." Sakura said with a dull frown and half-lidded eyes.

"Right." Shinachiku said with a nod and rubbing the back of his head.

"Love you both. Come on, Arashi."

And with that, Sakura left their home to visit her parents with Arashi, leaving her eldest son and only daughter alone.

After a moment of silence, Hanami spoke.

"Kaa-chan's going to love her surprise." Hanami said with a grin.

"Yeah, but she's going to try hard not to show it. As usual." Shinachiku said.

"Speaking of which, we still got to finish setting up. I got to make sure they're all set up and you still got to finish their dinner today and seal it." Hanami said, pointing to her brother.

"Yeah, yeah, I know. I was there when tou-chan explained everything with a well-drawn diagram on the chalkboard he borrowed." Shinachiku said rolling his eyes. "Speaking of which, I'm heading out to get the remaining ingredients. I'm gonna have a clone keep you company."

"Why?" Hanami questioned with a frown.

"Kaa-chan did say I have to keep an eye on you." Shinachiku said as he then created a clone. "These will be my eyes."

"Yo." The clone brought a hand up in a friendly wave.

"I'll see you later." Shinachiku said as he grabbed his green jacket, put on his shinobi footwear and headed out the door.

"That guy can really take a bit of fun out of really cool stuff." Hanami complained with her hands behind her head again.

"I'm still here. Technically." Clone Shinachiku pointed out.

"You make cool stuff a little less fun, dattebara." Hanami complained to her brother's clone with no shame whatsoever, having an annoyed frown on her face, eyes closed, and arms crossed, making her clone brother groan and roll his eyes. "Hanami Bakudan!" Hanami called out as the threw one of her pink pouches onto the floor, causing a burst of pink smoke and cherry blossom petals to liter the area.

"Hanami!" Clone Shinachiku shouted as he coughed and sneezed loudly from inhaling the smoke. "Where are you?" He sneezed. "This is in poor tasted!" He coughed then sneezed loudly as he waved his hand to clear the smoke and tried to walk towards the door, only for noticed something glowing on the ground making him look to his foot to see a paper seal at the bottom of his foot. "Oh, man." Clone Shinachiku said with a frown before a vortex came out of the seal, absorbing him as he let out a yell before being sealed into the paper.

.

.

Sakura walked down the streets of the village with her son in hand as passersby wishing her well out of both respect, pride and a little bit of envy. Everyone knew how far Naruto would go for her, and these tributes to their shared love. While the men hated these days, the women were always excited to see how Naruto would express his undying love and devotion to his wife.

It was like a big event that received excitement reserved for fireworks at a festival! It always felt like something to behold.

"Look who it is~!" Mother and son turned to see none other than Ino, as they were all right outside of the Yamanaka flower shop. "It's the birthday girl~! Taking her baby boy for a walk too." Ino said with a chipper smile, with Arashi pouted in response. "And he's as adorable as ever. Still surprises me how you and Naruto could make such cuties." Ino said with a gushing smile as she held one of her blushing cheeks.

"You really know how to make a girl feel special on her birthday." Sakura said with a frown and dull eyes with her free hand on her hip.

"Speaking of our resident unpredictable knucklehead- uh, Naruto, not Hanami-"

"She's honestly more of a devious little genius than her father was." Sakura interjected.

"Got any idea how he's going to delight us all this year?" Ino asked with a bit of an excited smile.

"You know it is a bit annoying how everyone treats my birthday surprises as a big show for their entertainment." Sakura said.

"Not everyone." Arashi pointed.

"He's right. I think Sai might be one of the few men who do not hate Naruto's guts every time your birthday rolls on by. Also on your anniversaries and Valentine's Day, which by the way was amazing!" Ino said.

"How he managed to get thousands of pink birds to litter the village and have them trained to tweet a romantic melody in perfect harmony I will never know." Sakura said, shaking her head as she was still in disbelief at Naruto's Valentine surprise last month.

"Not to mention having cherry blossoms bloom all throughout the village as the grand finale." Ino sighed dreamily as she remembered that day last month. "You must have felt like a princess when he took your hand and you both danced throughout the whole song until the flowers bloomed."

"I was embarrassed that we did that in public." Sakura said with a frown and her eyes closed.

"She wouldn't stop smiling about it for a week when we were back home." Arashi said causing his mother to flinch with her cheeks red from embarrassment.

"Arashi, shush." Sakura quietly said to her son with her finger pressed against her lips.

"I knew you loved it! What woman wouldn't?" Ino said with a giggle.

Sakura sighed, but then she smiled.

"I really am lucky, aren't I?" Sakura asked, rhetorically of course. She knew she was very lucky to have Naruto as her husband.

"Yeah, you actually are." Ino agreed with a smile. "Who would have thought Naruto would have been the biggest romantic this village would have ever seen?"

"Considering how much he was deprived of love when he was a child, it's not that surprising when you remember that." Sakura said with a frown as she was now feeling guilt about not being one of those people who gave him a chance and showed him a semblance of love in the beginning, romantic or non.

"Hey, hey, no feeling bad on your special day." Ino said as she placed a comforting hand on her best friend's shoulder.

"Kind of hard not to. He pulls off these spectacular displays of love it makes you feel a bit low recalling how often you didn't show that same love back in the day. Far from it. Not to mention, they're so over the top that I can't match them. How can I show how much I love him when he does things so extravagant that they can't be matched?" Sakura complained, feeling saddened that even she feels inadequate when it came to Naruto's surprises for her.

"You do it every day." Arashi said, catching Sakura and Ino's attention. "Tou-chan says that you being a part of this world is the greatest thing about it, and you being with him is the greatest thing you ever do for him. I think he doesn't mind since he's always happy that you're around, just like the rest of us." Arashi said, surprising his own mother further.

"Aw~, how sweet!" Ino said with a big smile.

Sakura cleared her throat, trying to possess a more dignified look, but her cheeks, now red, betrayed her.

"Well… that's very nice to hear, but it doesn't change the fact that I can't surprise your father like he does for me." Sakura said, holding her head held high a bit.

"There was that time his heart stopped when he saw you in that dress." Arashi said, causing his mother's face to turn entirely red while Ino laughed.

"Oh my Gosh! I remember hearing about that! Not many women can say that they made their husband's heart stop with their beauty! I'm honestly really jealous, Dekorīn." (Forehead Girl) Ino said with a bright yet teasing smile.

"Yamete, Buta!" (Shut It, Pig) Sakura shouted at her friend with annoyance. "Hmph. Come on, Arashi, we still have to visit your grandparents." Sakura said with a pout and her head held high as she was ready to leave.

"Sakura Obasan!" A voice spoke up causing them to turn to see a young girl with blonde and black hair run out of the store, holding a big bouquet of flowers in her arms.

This little girl looked just like Ino, but she had her hair down with the lower half of it being jet black and her bangs framing the left side of her face opposed to the right like the elder blonde, and the ending of the bangs had some jet-black coloring to them. She wore a simple purple sleeveless blouse with a black high collar and black frills at the hem with gold rings attached to them, plus it revealed her navel which revealed a black sleeveless shirt underneath the blouse, a small purple skirt with tight black pants underneath that stopped at the bottom of her knees and black shinobi sandals. She also wore yellow and purple plastic bracelets around her wrists and had the kanji for the word Art (芸術) written on the back of her blouse.

She looked to be the around the same age as Sakura's daughter Hanami.

"Hello, Inori-chan. How are you?" Sakura greeted the young girl.

"Here, for you!" Inori said as she extended the bouquet to the pink haired woman. "Otanjōbiomedetō, Obasan!" (Happy Birthday, Auntie) Inori said with a bright smile.

"Arigato, Inori-chan." Sakura said returning the bright smile as she released Arashi's hand and took the bouquet into her arms. Sakura noticed that the flowers were colored orange, pink, yellow, hot pink and red; no doubt representing her family. "They're beautiful." Sakura said with a smile. "Did you do these all by yourself?"

"Yup. Got it down perfectly, didn't I?" Inori said with a smile, a wink and a fist pump.

"Yes, you did. I'm guessing while your mama distracted me, you did this wonderful bouquet from the both of you." Sakura said, still smiling but looking to Ino with sly eyes.

"It wasn't all a distraction. I really did want to say 'hi' to you." Ino said with her arms crossed and head held high.

"Well, I'm glad you did. These are wonderful." Sakura said with an appreciative smile, making Ino and her daughter smile back.

"Inori, say 'hi' to Arashi too." Ino said to her daughter.

"Oh, yeah. Hi Arashi." Inori greeted the younger boy.

"Hello." Arashi greeted with a nod.

'Cute as always, but would it kill him to smile more? At least in public.' Inori thought to herself. "By the way, where's Hanami right now?" Inori asked.

"No doubt helping her father with whatever he's got planned today." Sakura said with a bit of a nervous, but appreciative smirk on her face.

"Knowing her, it's bound to be messy." Inori said with her arms crossed and eyes closed.

"She wouldn't be Hanami if she didn't cause one here or there." Sakura said with a tired smile as she recalled all the memories of Hanami making a mess at home and around the village.

"Amen to that. I still remember that time I babysat her, and she was covered in paint. I still got the handprints in my house to prove it. Well, at least just a pair of them." Ino said with a fond smile as she recalled that messy day.

"She was only a few months old at the time. Sorry about that." Sakura said with a bit of an apologetic bow.

"Oh, don't worry about it. That orange and pink pair of prints are one of my favorite pieces of art back home." Ino said with a dismissive wave.

"Still not as good as anything I can make." Inori mumbled to herself.

"Don't tell me your jealous." Ino teased her daughter with a smirk.

"I'm not jealous!" Inori exclaimed with a frown. "Besides, she isn't even a real artist. All she does is graffiti. She doesn't appreciate what it really means to use actual tools to make actual art." Inori said, turning away with a pout and her arms crossed.

"Of all the things to pass down to our kids, it had to be our little rivalry." Ino said to Sakura with a bit of embarrassed smirk.

"Hanami and Inori for sure, but luckily Shina-chan and Inojin aren't the same." Sakura said with a bit more of an amused smile, but still had its own layer of embarrassment to it as well.

"You're right. It's more one-sided. Inojin is so determined on surpassing Shina-chan, but then again who isn't from their generation?" Ino said with a smirk and shrug.

"Arata for one." Sakura said.

"Well, yeah, but he's different. He's not one who enjoys falling behind, but he doesn't really prioritize competitions or rivalries over other matters, especially over important things like friendship." Ino pointed out.

"Shocking considering the kind of guy his father used to be." Sakura said causing both her and Ino to laugh as a result. "Anyway, thank you both for the lovely gift."

"Anytime, Dekorīn. Have a wonderful birthday, and good luck with whatever that knucklehead of a husband of yours has planned." Ino said with a cheerful smile.

"Thanks, Buta. Always happy to hear that from you." Sakura said with a smile as she and Arashi started to head off. "See you later, Ino. So long, Inori. Have a great day!" Sakura called back with a smile.

"Have a better one, obasan!" Inori called out as she waved so long to her favorite 'aunt'.

Ino's smile widened as she watched her best friend walk away with bouquet in one hand and her youngest child's hand in the other.

"She really is quite lucky to get such big surprises a couple times a year." Ino commented.

"And I'll be even luckier the day I marry Shinachiku." Inori said with a flustered smile as she now held her flushed cheeks.

"Shinachiku? What of Arata?" Ino asked with an amused smirk.

"Or him. I still have options and time." Inori said with a shrug and her arms crossed.

"You know, it would be so cute if you and Arashi got together someday." Ino joked.

"Ew, mama! He's much younger than me!" Inori complained.

"You're both the same age difference as you and Shinachiku. I don't see a problem there." Ino teased with a giggle, causing her daughter to pout and groan with annoyance at her mother's teasing.

"Arigato gozaimasu!" Shinachiku thanked the shop owner with a bow.

He managed to buy all the ingredients for the meal his father appointed him to make. While the Hokage wished he could have done it himself, or at least use a clone, he knew that his son is the real cook in the family, so he wanted him to prepare a nice meal for tonight.

After leaving the store, Shinachiku sealed away the last of the ingredients into a scroll and then pocketed it.

"Alright, time to head back." Shinachiku said to himself as he headed down the road.

"Ohayogozaimasu, Shina-kun." A voice spoke, causing Shinachiku to turn to see a raven-haired girl and dark blue haired boy.

"Tsukia! Arata! Ohayō!" Shinachiku greeted the pair with a grin.

Arata and Tsukia Uchiha. Otherwise known as the Uchiha twins.

Arata was a young teenage boy with dark blue hair that had bangs over the forehead, locks of hair framing the sides of his head and some hair spiked at the back. He wore a cream long sleeve hooded jacket that stopped a bit pass his belt that also had patches of expresso brown colored cloth at the elbows and there was white colored fur at the bottom hem of the jacket and around the collar. The jacket also had the red and white uchiwa fan symbol printed on the back of it. He also wore a black short sleeved V-neck shirt underneath the jacket with a long sleeve fishnet shirt under that, a pair of dark pants, a belt wrapped around his waist with pouches attached all around it and on the left side of the buckle was an uchiwa fan and a yellow circle with red flame-like insignia within it, which was all hidden underneath his coat, white tape wrapped around his right thigh with a weapon holster wrapped around it as well, violet shinobi footwear that covered his calves/shins and stopped under his knees, a strap wrapped diagonally around his torso that had a sheathed chokuto attached to it with a red and white uchiwa fan insignia on it, black fingerless gloves that extended to his elbows and a Konoha hitai-ate wrapped around his left bicep. His most distinguishing feature were his eyes though as they were grey.

Tsukia was a young teenage girl the same age as Arata with raven colored hair and onyx colored eyes like him, C cup breasts, and long hair that stopped below her upper back with a pair of long strands framing the sides of her face and her hair was designed in a hime cut at the end of her long hair and for her bangs, but on the right side of her forehead there were a pair of bangs that were regular spiky bangs like her father's and there were spike locks at the sides of the bottom of her long hair. She wore a pink zip-up turtleneck with the Uchiha symbol on the back of it, a sleeveless inner turtleneck crop top under it that exposed her midriff, black women's shorts, a black pair of thigh high leg warmers and a pair of black fingerless gloves that extended halfway up her forearms.

"Out shopping for your parents' dinner tonight, I see." Arata stated.

"Yeah. Ever since I started cooking, I pretty much have been the go-to chef for these events." Shinachiku said with a smile and rubbing the back of his head.

"It's nice to be depended on, even by your parents, isn't it?" Tsukia said with a smile.

"Yeah. It has a sense of fulfillment to it." Shinachiku said with a bright smile.

"Just asking in advance… how messy is this one going to be?" Arata asked.

"Well, it's definitely going to be the biggest one yet. Fortunately, it's going be more pleasant than last month's mess with the birds." Shinachiku said with a tired smirk.

"Those were a lot of feathers." Arata stated.

"And other… unmentionables." Tsukia said with a small, tired smile and a sweat drop.

"Yeah. Gomen. Tou-chan really goes all out every chance he gets. He's way too in love with kaa-chan, dattebaro." Shinachiku said with an apologetic bow.

"No need to apologize." Tsukia said with a small dismissive wave.

"By the way, your dad isn't annoyed by what's coming up, is he?" Shinachiku asked.

"Because every other guy is when your father shows off?" Arata rhetorically asked, making Shinachiku flinch.

"It's fine. Chichioya and Hahaoya prefer small, peaceful events. Bombastic isn't really their thing." Tsukia said.

"That's more your family's agenda." Arata added.

"Yeah, ain't that the truth. No room for argument there." Shinachiku said with a frown.

"Your father is exhibit A after all." Arata said.

"And Hanami is exhibit B." Shinachiku said with a bit of an amused, but embarrassed smile as he recalls how rambunctious his little sister can be.

"So, are you finished with your shopping?" Tsukia asked.

"No, not yet. Still got to get the important one."

"Important to your father that is." Arata pointed out.

"Hey, ramen is important." Shinachiku said with his arms crossed.

"So, you're heading over to Ichiraku's?" Tsukia questioned.

"Yup. Why don't you guys join me? I'm sure their special order isn't ready yet anyway, so we can have a bowl while we wait, dattebaro." Shinachiku offered with a smile.

'I'm the only one of us who only has a bowl though.' Arata thought to himself.

"I'd love to! I m-mean, we'd love to." Tsukia quickly said as she blushed with embarrassment.

"Hn." Arata agreed with a nod.

Sakura had made it to her parents' bakery which was near their home.

Sakura looked up at the sign that said Haruno Okashi (Spring Field Sweets) [春野お菓子] causing her to smile.

"Has O bāchan ever had you work here?" Arashi asked his mother.

"Whenever I had the time. Honestly, I was kind of grateful that being a kunoichi ate up a good amount of it, so I didn't have to work as often as I did when I was younger." Sakura said with a smile.

"Oh, is that so?" A voice spoke, causing Sakura to flinch and turn to see her mother next to them with her arms crossed. "If only had I known helping your parents was such a burden." Mebuki said.

"Kaa-chan, I didn't mean it like that." Sakura said with a hand up in defense and a nervous smile.

"Arashi!" An elderly man with a dull pink five-pointed hairstyle and angular stash ran up over with a huge grin and picked up the little red head. "How are you doing my super adorable grandson! Have you come to pay your pop-pop a visit?" Kizashi greeted his grandson with a big ol' happy grin.

"O-Ohayō ojīchan." Arashi greeted his grandpa with a bit of a pout.

"Aw~, what's with that face? Aren't you happy to see me?" Kizashi asked, still grinning.

"Isn't picking me up like this a bit childish?" Arashi asked, blushing a bit.

"But you are a child!" Kizashi pointed out.

"Still, it's kind of embarrassing having others see." Arashi said as he blushed more and noticed people nearby, looking with smiles of amusement and a bit of laughter.

"Aw, well if that's the case, ojīchan will scare them off like the tough shinobi I am! I'll always protect my little Ichigo no Shōnen (Strawberry Boy)!" Kizashi proclaimed proudly.

"Ojīchan~!" Arashi whined as nearby civilians laughed in amusement.

"Papa, don't embarrass your grandson." Sakura said with her arms crossed but had an amused smile.

"Embarrass him? How can I ever embarrass this cute, little gift from above?" Kizashi said to his daughter with a grin.

"You don't make it that hard, dattebare." Arashi mumbled to himself with a pout and his arms crossed as his eyes looked towards the side.

Kizashi grunted and hunched over a bit.

"Oh, my back." Kizashi complained some.

"Honestly, when will you learn to take it easy? You're no spring chicken anymore." Mebuki said to her husband with a frown as she walked over and took their grandson from his grasp.

"Oh, I'll be fine. Besides, seeing my grandchildren always makes me feel twenty years young again for a few moments. How could I complain?" Kizashi said with a smile as she rubbed his tailbone to ease some of the pain.

"Forty years and you still haven't stopped being so careless with yourself. What am I ever going to do with you?" Mebuki said with a smirk as she placed Arashi back onto the ground.

"Too late the replace me now." Kizashi said with a grin.

"You'd have to come with a receipt first." Mebuki joked with her arms crossed.

"Oh come now, you can't get one from someone so priceless!" Kizashi joked with a boisterous laugh.

"Oh, you." Mebuki shook her head with an amused smirk.

Sakura couldn't help but smile at her parents' behavior. It made her think of her and Naruto. To say her relationship with Naruto had big parallels to her parents' own would be an understatement. Her father was always worried about her marrying Sasuke, because, aside from his past grievances, including ones against her, he never felt their personalities would mesh well. When she got with Naruto, the two got along a little too well. They laughed, shared some stories and enjoyed one another's sense of humor a lot. In fact, Kizashi's sense of humor practically bled into Naruto's as her baka of a husband enjoyed her father's lame-ass jokes. Especially his puns. Gracious, those puns.

Still, it brought a smile to her face to know how well Naruto got along with her parents, and how proud they were to call him their son-in-law.

"Speaking of priceless, I'm sure this year Naruto's got a doozy for your birthday, Sakura." Kizashi said to his daughter with a smile.

"I'm sure he does." Sakura said with a sigh and her hands on her hips.

"I hope it isn't as messy as Valentine's Day. Last thing I want is to sweep away any more feathers and scrub out more bird droppings." Mebuki said, putting her own hands on her hips.

"Aw, come on, a little mess like that was worth it for our little girl!" Kizashi said with a grin.

"That was 'little' to you?" Mebuki questioned as she and her daughter looked to Kizashi with the same expression of a frown and raised eyebrow.

"Oh, almost forgot!" Kizashi hurried back into the store.

"That man just will not take a break, even in his advanced age." Mebuki said with a sigh and her arms crossed.

"Naruto's the same way. Only more hyperactive." Sakura said as she took crossed her arms. "What's with us, kaa-chan? How come we're so attracted to such strange men?" Sakura questioned with a smile.

"As odd as they may be, your knucklehead and mine somehow have a certain charm to them that we can't look away from." Mebuki said with a smile and a hand on her cheek as she and her daughter laughed at how true the statement is.

"Ta-Dah!" Kizashi returned with a big ol' cake that was white with several different colored symbols of the Uzumaki-Haruno clan insignia that Naruto and Sakura now represent, along with pink Sakura petals made of frosting. The colors were orange, pink, maroon, red, green, along with white and dull pink, representing each member of the family, including Mebuki and Kizashi themselves.

"Oh, tou-chan. Arigato." Sakura said to her father with a bright smile.

"Don't just thank him. I also made it. Heck, he was in such a rush, our kitchen was littered with different colored frosting he sprayed everywhere in a haste." Mebuki said with a bit of a frown.

"What can I say? It takes a lot to pass with flying colors!" Kizashi joked as he then laughed heartily.

"Are those jokes also part of tou-chan's charm kaa-chan?" Sakura joked with a bit of an embarrassed smirk.

"Oh, hush and enjoy your surprise." Mebuki said with her head held high and arms re-crossed.

"The best I can have is a single slice. Naruto and the kids already surprised me with a cake this morning." Sakura said.

"For breakfast?" Mebuki questioned with surprise.

"Hanami said that the surprise Naruto was planning was much sweeter so might as well have the cake first." Sakura said with a smile and shrug.

"Oh~, smart. That guy keeps impressing me more and more each year. Clever like a fox as usual." Kizashi said, amazed by his son-in-law's train of thought.

"Would you please stop saying that about our son-in-law." Mebuki said to her husband with a frown.

"What? He is clever." Kizashi said in confusion.

"I know that, but you shouldn't say it like that. Given his past it must sound so offensive to him." Mebuki scolded her husband with her arms crossed.

"Sakura, is Naruto offended whenever I say that?" Kizashi asked, looking to his daughter.

"Well, I kind of am, but he actually finds it funny." Sakura said with a frown and crossing her own arms.

"Ha! See? Naruto likes it!" Kizashi said with a happy grin, causing his wife to sigh with her hand over her forehead.

"What flavor is the cake?" Arashi asked his grandpa.

"It's a sponge cake with strawberry jam filling." Kizashi answered with a smile.

"Mama, can I have a piece? Please?" Arashi asked his mother, hoping to get a taste of the strawberry jam filled cake.

"Hell yes! Come on in!" Kizashi exclaimed with a big ol' smile.

"He asked Sakura, anata (dear)." Mebuki said to her husband.

"It's okay. I was hoping to spend time with you guys before heading to work anyway. A little slice of cake wouldn't hurt." Sakura said with a smile.

"Great! I'll go get the knife!" Kizashi said with a grin.

"How about I do that, dear." Mebuki stated more than asked as she headed back into the bakery with her husband following.

Sakura smiled, happy to have her parents around. Especially for her kids. As she took Arashi's hand, smiling down to him, with him returning the smile, Sakura couldn't help, but feel grateful that her children know the love between a grandchild and their grandparents.

Not everyone gets that chance. Shinachiku, Hanami and Arashi will only have stories of Naruto's parents, Minato and Kushina, who she wishes were here for both her children and her husband, but she was at least happy that her parents were here so none of them would miss out on what's it's like to have them, either as a grandparent, or for Naruto, a pair of parents to be proud of.

She was truly blessed and happy about it.

Shinachiku's stomach growled loudly, catching he and his friends off guard.

"We're close." Shinachiku said as he rubbed his stomach.

"Your stomach acts like an excited two-year-old going to a festival." Tsukia joked with a smile, causing Shinachiku to blush and smile with embarrassment.

"More like a Ramen Radar to me." Arata said.

"Well, you both aren't wrong, dattebaro." Shinachiku said with a grin as Tsukia and Arata smiled and smirked, respectively, with amusement.

Shinachiku, Arata and Tsukia made it to Ichiraku Ramen. Once they went in, Shinachiku's stomach growled louder.

"I know that growl anywhere!" A voice called out near the counter. It was none other than Ayame, daughter of Teuchi and new owner of Ichiraku Ramen. "Shina-chan, welcome!" Ayame greeted the boy with a smile.

"Hello, Ayame-obasan." Shinachiku greeted the woman with a smile as he, Tsukia and Arata made their way over. "Sorry about that. It never stays quiet no matter how hard I try, dattebaro." Shinachiku said with an embarrassed smile and blush as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Oh, don't worry about it. It's a cheerful tune to me." Ayame said with a smile. "My husband just started on your parents' meal, so you'll have to wait. Sorry."

"Hey, no worries. I was in the mood for a bowl." Shinachiku said with a smile.

"Great! I'll go prepare that for you while you wait. Please, have a seat at the counter." Ayame said as she headed for the kitchen.

"Yo, Shina!" A voice called out, causing Shinachiku and the others to turn to see Teams 5 (Iwabe, Denki and Metal Lee) and 15 (Wasabi, Namida and Tsubaki) sitting at the counter, eating ramen. "Sit by us!" Iwabe called out with a wave.

"Yo, Iwabe! Guys! How've you been?" Shinachiku greeted the two teams as he, Tsukia and Arata sat with them.

"Fantastic to be honest. I'm really nailing my training." Iwabe said with a smirk and his head held high.

"He's got a big ego today because he managed to trip me during our spar." Wasabi said with an annoyed frown that showed a bit of disappointment as she rested her red marked cheek (like those of the Inuzuka clan, but with it being four marks lined up like cat whiskers) on her hand. "Literally, he tripped me. Not something to be proud of."

"Hey, I won that match fair and square!" Iwabe argued.

"Tripping someone doesn't sound something that's fair and square to me." Wasabi countered back with dull eyes.

"Fairness isn't really something shinobi are known for to begin with." Arata pointed out.

"Yeah, see? Arata gets it!" Iwabe said with a grin.

"He just countered your point too, kono baka (you idiot)!" Wasabi exclaimed with an exaggerated look of annoyance.

"Whatever. You're just pissed that we won the right to choose lunch is all." Iwabe said with a smug smirk as he enjoyed his noodles and ignored Wasabi's glare.

"So, winner chose lunch and your team won? What kind of bout was it?" Shinachiku asked.

"One on one each. Best out of three got to choose lunch." Denki elaborated.

"I beat Wasabi and Denki managed to defeat Tsubaki, so we got to choose." Iwabe added.

"Wait, Denki managed to beat Tsubaki? Amazing! That's no easy feat!" Shinachiku said, amazed by the spectacled shinobi's victory, while silently irritating the samurai a bit.

"Well, it wasn't that impressive. All I did was use one of my Fūindan (Sealing Bullet) to hold her in place and then I just pulled an Arata." Denki said, rubbing the back of his head feeling a little embarrassed by the praise.

"Hn?" Arata questioned with his eyes widening a smidge in confusion.

"You know, how you focus your lightning release into your finger and fire a thin needle of lightning chakra into your opponent's nerve. I struck Tsubaki in the neck with it." Denki explained.

"Hn." Arata closed his eyes and nodded, understanding his method of victory.

"It was all my fault to be honest. I underestimated my opponent's skill in his technology and knowledge in Fūinjutsu." Tsubaki said with her eyes closed. "But know this. I will not make the same mistake next time, Denki-san." Tsubaki said as she snapped her eyes open and looked to Denki with a serious and determined gaze, causing the spectacled shinobi to flinch with an unnerved expression.

"He can take you on anytime and the result will be the same." Iwabe said with a smirk, believing in his teammate's skill wholeheartedly.

"I-Iwabe-kun!" Denki looked to his tall teammate with a worried look, not wanting him to agitate Tsubaki any further, especially into declaring a rematch so soon.

"At least Namida managed to beat Metal." Wasabi said with a proud smile as she looked to her best friend.

"I-It was a tough fight though." Namida said with a bashful smile.

"I Gave My All And It Still Wasn't Enough!" Metal cried with a look of frustration and disappointment with anime tears and gritted teeth.

"That's not true Metal-kun." Namida said, trying to offer a comforting smile.

"Yeah, you didn't open any of the Gates on her." Iwabe said as he then slurped up some noodles.

"Yes, but she didn't even use the true strength of her voice!" Metal countered.

"To be fair, Namida's voice would wreck an entire village block if she didn't hold back so often." Wasabi pointed out, earning nods from the others, while making Namida feel embarrassed by her destructive force of a voice.

"Still! I must train even harder! One day I will surpass both of you, Shinachiku-kun, Arata-kun! My eternal rivals!" Metal proclaimed with pride as he pointed to the Uzumaki and male Uchiha of the group.

"Hey, I'm plenty strong too, you know. How come you're not aiming to surpass me?" Iwabe questioned with a frown.

"Because Shina and Arata are already stronger than you, so it doesn't need mentioning." Wasabi said with a dismissive smile, causing Iwabe to narrow his eyes at her.

"Here you go Shina-chan!" A feminine voice spoke, handing a platter that had several bowls of ramen on it.

However, this voice did not belong to Ayame. This girl was about a year older than him with dark hair that reached her waist-length and dark-colored eyes, wearing the Ichiraku Ramen uniform of a white robe with the sleeves rolled up, a sort of dark blue apron with ribbon ties at the top and bright white bandana, similar to Ayame's uniform.

"Oh! Arigato, Momoka-chan!" Shinachiku thanked the older girl with a smile.

"Anything for you, Shina-chan." Momoka said with a bright smile and blush on her cheeks.

"Itadakimasu." Shinachiku thanked with his hands in prayer as he then took his chopsticks, snapped them apart and dug into his first bowl.

Momoka sighed dreamily as she leaned against the counter with her enclosed hands pressed against her cheeks, staring at Shinachiku with clear affection. While the others noticed this, the only one who didn't was Shinachiku, who as usual instead of noticing a girl with clear interest in him was focused on another matter, like enjoying his several bowls of ramen.

"You forgot the rest of everyone's order my dear daughter." Ayame said with a teasing smile as she brought Arata and Tsukia's bowls, causing Momoka to flinch with an embarrassed blush.

"Oh! Suman." Momoka said as she apologetically bowed to Arata and Tsukia.

"It's okay. We understand." Tsukia said, offering a smile.

"Hn. Apology accepted." Arata said with a nod.

"Itadakimasu." The Uchiha twins said as they brought their hands together and then proceeded to snap apart their chopsticks and enjoyed their ramen.

"Be prepared to get more. Not just for Shinachiku, Momo-chan." Ayame whispered to her daughtered as gently nodded towards Tsukia as she enjoyed her ramen with a bright, joyous smile.

"H-Hai, Okaa-chan." Momoka said with an embarrassed blush and smile as she rubbed the back of her head.

"Excuse me." Tsukia caught the attention of the mother and daughter ramen makers. "May I have another?" Tsukia asked with a bit of a bashful smile.

'ALREADY?!' Momoka thought with a dropped jaw and her eyes shadowed in shock.

'Should have expected as much.' Ayame thought with a sweat drop and an amused smile. "Of course, sweetie." Ayame said with a smile as she took the bowl from Tsukia. "I'll go cook fifteen more bowls, be ready to get them." Ayame whispered to her daughter, who nodded, before heading into the back of the kitchen.

"Oh, hey, Iwabe, just wondering something. What made you want ramen today? I mean, your favorite foods are Takoyaki and Yakitori." Shinachiku asked his tall friend.

"Eh. I was in the mood thanks to your dad. Just thinking about whatever he's got planned had me hankering for your family's go-to meal." Iwabe said.

"Oh, speaking of, what's he got planned today?" Momoka asked with excitement.

"Well, can't say because it wouldn't be a surprise if I did. Tou-chan swore me to secrecy. The best I can say is that it's the biggest one yet, dattebaro." Shinachiku said as he proceeded to drink up the broth of his first bowl.

"And the biggest mess yet too, I'm guessing." Wasabi stated more than asked.

"At least it won't be as gross as with the birds last month." Shinachiku said as he moved onto his next bowl, just as a bell dinged in the back that caused Momoka to hurry back to the kitchen.

"Your father's determination to appease his wife is admirable… however, it seems a bit selfish to pretty much involve the villagers of his home into it every year." Tsubaki said.

"Involved isn't how I'd put it." Arata said.

"Yeah, they're more akin to collateral damage. He makes the mess, and they usually have to help clean it up." Wasabi said.

"At least Rokudaime-sama uses his clones to help." Metal pointed out.

"Still, I see their point." Denki said rubbing his chin.

"Yeah, tou-chan's always been like this. He may have matured into the greatest Hokage ever, but he's still someone who's bombastic actions manage to rope everyone into them." Shinachiku said with a bit of an embarrassed smile as he proceeded to drink the broth of his second bowl, which he quickly finished. "Better than him pranking everyone." Shinachiku said.

"Tell that to the men." Arata said as he continued to have his ramen at a calm pace, just as Momoka came with fifteen more bowls on a platter and placed them in front of Tsukia.

"Oh, I only wanted one." Tsukia said.

"Trust me, you won't get enough of them. As usual." Momoka said, muttering the last part so Tsukia couldn't hear.

"Well, thank you." Tsukia said with a smile as she took the first bowl.

"You know, my tou-chan hates yours between February and April." Wasabi said to Shinachiku.

"I can understand why." Shinachiku said as he was midway through his third bowl. "You know, I think Shikamaru-san said that our dads used to butt heads a lot when they were our age. Kind of like a rivalry. More for your tou-chan than mine from what I've heard though." Shinachiku said.

"That's not surprising. He is an Inuzuka and Tsume-O bāchan did teach him to always be dominant. Sadly, he tries too hard to a bullheaded degree." Wasabi said with a tired frown and resting her chin on her hand.

"Sounds like someone I know." Iwabe said as he drank his broth.

"I am not as hard-headed as my tou-chan!" Wasabi said with an annoyed look.

"Pretty close though. Which is funny since you don't share the same blood." Iwabe said as he put his now empty bowl down.

"It is very ironic given how similar your appearances and clothing style, along with how very similar your personalities are that you aren't his biological spawn." Tsubaki said.

"Yeah, that's always been kind of funny." Shinachiku admitted, earning a glare from Wasabi, causing the blonde to flinch and return to finishing his bowls.

"It must be so nice." Momoka said with a bright smile as she leaned against the counter again in front of Shinachiku.

"Having a rival or being Kiba Inuzuka's daughter? Fair warning, both have their fair share of annoyances." Wasabi said with a frown.

"That's normal." Shinachiku said, causing Wasabi and Iwabe to raise their eyebrows. "I mean, I wouldn't know the daughter thing, but being the son of Naruto Uzumaki can have its own challenges." Shinachiku said with a shrug.

"No, not that! I mean being the Hokage's wife. I am so jealous of your mother." Momoka said with a blissful smile.

"To be honest, so am I." Namida said with her own blissful smile.

"What's there to be jealous of?" Metal asked, surprising everyone.

"I agree with Metal." Shinachiku said, surprising everyone even more.

"Why?" Momoka questioned with surprise.

"Well, I will admit tou-chan does go to the extreme, but he's in love. Isn't it normal to show how much you love someone?" Shinachiku said with a shrug and smile. "I know I'd do whatever I could to show how much I love someone most precious to me." Shinachiku said with a smile as he blissfully enjoyed his next bowl, completely unaware of the excited stares he was receiving from both Tsukia and Momoka, who were both blushing.

'Guy's got game and he doesn't even know it. Jerk.' Iwabe thought with a frown as he stared at Shinachiku.

The ding of the bell was heard again, catching Momoka's attention, as she then turned her head to Tsukia to see she was already finished her fifteen bowls.

'What's with her stomach?! She eats so much and yet she's so fit! Same with her mother!' Momoka thought with wide eyes and a dropped jaw before she hurried to get Tsukia more bowls.

"I doubt there's going to be anyone who goes to such lengths like your father does though." Arata said as he finished his bowl of ramen and cleaned his mouth with his napkin.

"Well, there isn't anyone like Naruto Uzumaki." Shinachiku said as he enjoyed his fifth bowl of ramen.

"A phrase so true." A new feminine voice spoke causing everyone to turn to see a beautiful blonde woman with a sizeable chest. "I hope the gaki does a blowout this year!" The woman said with a bright smile and a bottle of sake raised up.

"O bāchan!" Shinachiku cheered with a bright and super happy smile.

"Ts-Ts-Tsunade-sama!" Wasabi exclaimed with shock as now everyone's attention was on the Sanin.

Shinachiku hopped out of his seat and ran over to Tsunade and wrapped her in a tight embrace.

"Hey Shina-chan. Should have known you'd be here. That gaki's ramen addiction runs deep in the genes, unfortunately." Tsunade said, greeting the younger blonde with a smile as she hugged him back.

"It's not an addiction O bāchan!" Shinachiku said with a grin as he kept on hugging her.

"Yeah, that's what you all say." Tsunade said with a bright, warm smile.

"I can't believe how lucky he is." Iwabe said with a frown. "Son of a Hokage, treated like the grandson of one of the Sannin-"

"Would have been two if Jiraiya-sama was still alive." Arata said.

"And he's loved by all the hot girls and doesn't even know it. Lucky bastard." Iwabe said with a pout as he placed his cheek onto his hand and rested his elbow onto the counter, only for Wasabi to push it off the counter, causing his leaning face to hit the counter surface. "Ow!"

"Sorry~." Wasabi said with a smirk as Iwabe glared at her.

"Oi, bar keep! One big bowl of tonkotsu miso ramen and your finest sake!" Tsunade cheered with a huge grin and her bottle of sake raised high as she now walked over towards the counter with her arm wrapped around Shinachiku.

"You know they're not called bar keeps." Shinachiku said with a smile.

"Coming right up!" Momoka said as she laid down a platter of twenty bowls of ramen for Tsukia then rushed back into the kitchen.

"Hello Tsunade-sama!" Tsukia greeted the woman with a bright smile.

"Nice to see you again." Arata greeted her with a smile.

"Aw~, it's my favorite pair of Uchihas! How are you doing?" Tsunade greeted the two with a bright grin and rubbing the top of their heads.

"Here, you can have my seat. I figured you'd like to sit next to Shina." Arata offered as he stood up from his stool.

"Thank you, Arata. You are just so kind." Tsunade said as she sat down on the seat that he offered as the male Uchiha then sat next to his sister's other side.

"How was your trip, Tsunade-sama?" Tsukia asked with a pleasant smile.

"Nice and all, but there's always a charm of being back where you grew up. Especially when there's family always waiting for you. Like this squirt right here." Tsunade said with a grin as she ruffled Shinachiku's hair.

"Hey, I'm a good size for my age!" Shinachiku said with a grin as he lightly pushed Tsunade's hands away.

Iwabe couldn't help, but stare at the legendary Sannin.

"What are you staring at?" Wasabi questioned as she smacked Iwabe's arm.

"We're sitting with a Sannin! This isn't something that happens often!" Iwabe replied, amazed that he was sitting at the same counter with a living legend who fought through three wars.

"So true." Denki said with a look of amazement.

"It is amazing." Namida said with a look of awe.

"Oi." Tsunade spoke, causing both team 5 and 15 to flinch as they were now nervous in her presence. "Your name is Iwabe, right? The one who turned out was a Senju." Tsunade asked.

"Y-Yes, ma'am!" Iwabe said as he immediately stood up from his stool, standing straight with his arms tucked tightly into his side with a clearly nervous expression on his face. "I mean, Tsunade-sama! Iwabe Yuino! I mean, Iwabe Senju! I mean, Yuino-Senju! I mean-"

"Calm down, calm down. I'm just messing with you. I remember you, gaki." Tsunade said with a chuckle and a dismissive wave.

"She remembers me." Iwabe said with wide, shocked starry eyes.

"Here you go Tsunade-sama." Momoka said as she returned and placed a platter in front of Tsunade with a bowl of tonkotsu miso ramen and some grade-A sake with a saucer beside it to pour the sake in.

"Thank you, darling." Tsunade thanked the young worker with a smile.

Momoka smiled back, before she heard another ding, causing her to look to Tsukia, only to let out a surprise shout to see she already finished her twenty bowls before rushing back to the kitchen, surprising and confusing the female Uchiha.

"I'm guessing you decided to pay a visit because you wanted to see what tou-chan had in store this time, huh?" Shinachiku rhetorically asked with a smile.

"Your father goes a bit too far-"

"A bit?" Shinachiku questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"You know when I say that I mean to such an extreme, but it is entertaining to watch. He sure knows how to put on a show, and shockingly enough, he knows how to treat a lady." Tsunade said as she poured some sake into the saucer she had in her hand. "Then again, it is Sakura, so it's not hard to understand why. That kid has been stuck on that girl since he first started at the academy."

"So they've been together that long? How sweet! Academy Sweethearts." Namida said with a bright smile as she was in a 'lovey-dovey' mood.

"Ha! He wishes! Sakura actually used to hate him from what Kakashi told me." Tsunade said, laughing a bit.

"Wait, seriously?" Iwabe questioned as he and the others, minus Team 7, were shocked.

"Sakura-san actually hated her own husband when they were kids?" Wasabi asked with much shock.

"That doesn't sound good at all." Namida said with a frown.

"Well, to be honest, from what she's told me, she wasn't the only one. Tou-chan wasn't really as popular as he is now when he was a kid." Shinachiku said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"No kidding. He was loud, boastful when it was unwarranted, and he just loved getting on people's nerves." Tsunade said.

"Pretty much like Hanami." Shinachiku said with a shrug.

"Except she does have room to boast." Arata added.

"No way. We are talking about Rokudaime-sama, right?" Iwabe questioned with shock.

"The same." Tsunade said as she drank up her saucer of sake.

"It seems almost impossible." Denki said, still in shock.

"Yeah, but it sure speaks volumes on the man he is now." Tsunade said as she helped herself to some of her ramen.

"Yes, that is true!" Metal agreed as he slammed his hands on the counter, surprising everybody. "Our own Hokage rose from the bottom all on his own to be the man that he is! Such inspiration! I feel the urge to work just as hard, no, even harder after hearing something so inspirational!" Metal suddenly picked his body up with just one arm still on the table as he started doing a one-handed handstand pushup. "One! Two! Three!"

"Hey, no working out on the counter!" Momoka shouted as she brought a platter of twenty-five bowls of ramen and placed it in front of Tsukia.

"Ah! S-Sorry!" Metal apologized with wide, scared anime eyes as he froze in place in fear and anxiety as he noticed all eyes were on him.

"Well, Naruto never became the man that he is on his own. He had people there for him. Maybe not at the beginning, but slowly yet surely, he gained more and more people who helped make him the man that he is today." Tsunade said as she poured herself some more sake.

"With Sakura-sama being one of them, of course, right?" Namida asked with a smile as she and Denki helped ease Metal off the counter.

"Actually, she was one of the most reluctant. If not, the most." Tsunade said with a smirk as she drank more sake.

"Seriously?" Namida questioned with a frown as she and Denki managed to get Metal to ease into his seat.

"It's just so surprising seeing as they are now." Denki said.

"Then you'll be more surprised to find out that Sakura actually used to have feelings for Sasuke." Tsunade said with a smile.

"Say What?!" Wasabi exclaimed as she and the others, minus Team 7, were shocked.

"Arata and Tsukia's father?!" Denki questioned with utter shock.

"No way!" Namida exclaimed with disbelief.

"Hn." Arata nodded in confirmation.

"Funny enough, our own mother used to have feelings for Shina-kun's father as well." Tsukia said with a bit of an embarrassed smile and sweat drop down the side of her head.

"NANI?!" Teams 5 and 15 exclaimed with pure disbelief, minus Tsubaki who just had a pair of wide eyes.

"So, your parents practically switched love interests. Amusing." Tsubaki said as she drank some tea.

"Not to all of us." Arata stated.

"What's even less amusing is how my mom fell for you dad." Shinachiku said with a frown and his cheek resting against his hand.

"This I got to know." Iwabe said, leaning in.

"Apparently, my tou-chan came up with the 'genius' idea of using the Henge no Jutsu to disguise himself as Sasuke-Ojisan and complimented her forehead. If you all recall, our foreheads are a sensitive subject, all stemming from my kaa-chan." Shinachiku said with a frown and his eyes closed.

"It's almost funny how the gaki nearly sabotaged himself from having his dream girl." Tsunade said as she had more sake.

"It's not that funny with the knowledge of knowing that your whole existence hinged on that little scene." Shinachiku said with a pout.

"Hn." Arata and Tsukia agreed with a nod.

"To be fair though, our father did say your mother wouldn't have given your father the time of day if he approached her, so you can't entirely blame him for his train of thought." Arata said.

"Yeah… but still." Shinachiku said with his arms crossed.

"Wow. So from the sounds of it, you three lucked out on how things turned out." Denki pointed out.

"You must be so grateful!" Metal added.

"I know I am." Momoka said with a bright smile and blush as her eyes were on Shinachiku.

"Same here. I can't imagine life without you guys. Especially you, Shina." Iwabe said with a smile, earning agreeing nods from the rest.

Shinachiku, Arata and Tsukia suddenly smiled.

"Yeah, I guess we are very lucky." Shinachiku said, smiling to the Uchiha twins, who returned the gesture with their own smiles. "Which just gives me more reason to celebrate today by putting my all into making this an amazing dinner!"

"Well then, you're gonna need this." Ayame said as she placed an oversized bag in front of Shinachiku, surprising everyone.

"Arigato, Ayame-Obasan." Shinachiku said with a smile as he then took a scroll and pen out.

"How much ramen did your dad order?" Wasabi asked with wide eyes and a surprised frown.

"In his words: enough." Shinachiku said as he wrote a seal in the blink of an eye, then sealed away the food for later.

"Enough is never enough when it comes to your family and ramen." Arata said.

"How unfortunately true." Tsunade said, shaking her head with an amused smile as she had some more of her ramen. "So, I'm guessing Hanami is helping by handling the impending spectacle while your parents work before tonight?" Tsunade asked, rhetorically mind you.

"That's the plan." Shinachiku said with a nod. "She's gonna be really excited to see you here. She wants to show you how good she got with those 'card tricks' you taught her."

"You mean double-dealing." Arata stated.

"Isn't that cheating?" Namida asked.

"Only if you use it in a game. I just wanted her to know it so she could look out for cheats when she gets old enough to play." Tsunade said.

"And her parents are okay with this?" Denki asked.

"Not really, but what do they know? They never gave in to the gambling bug, like yours truly." Tsunade said with a smile and her head held high, while everyone chuckled nervously.

"So, anyway, back to a more legal topic. Rokudaime-sama went from being an annoying pest to the greatest in the world. Guess that means there's hope for you Iwabe." Wasabi said.

"Oi!" Iwabe stood from his seat with an annoyed look. "Uh, wait… is that an insult or a compliment?" Iwabe wondered to himself aloud, causing everyone to laugh.

Hanami was atop of a building, humming to herself as she looked over a map of Konoha that had several red X markings scattered throughout it. She marked the building she was atop with a red marker, making another X.

"And that's one more." Hanami said with a grin.

Suddenly someone appeared right next to Hanami, as if out of thin air.

A girl around her age with a fair complexion, a bob-style hime-cut and white featureless eyes, meaning she was a Hyūga. She wore a simple white kimono-shirt with long, loose sleeves and a small Uchiha clan symbol at the top of the upper back of it, black pants and a pair of geta-sandals. Strapped to the side of her waist was a bokken, no doubt her weapon of choice.

"I finished with the west side. As you asked." The girl said in a monotone voice.

"Awesome! Thanks, Kaida!" Hanami thanked the girl with a grin.

"You owe me nineteen sparring sessions for losing so many rounds in Jankenpo." Kaida reminded the pinkette.

"Eh. Either way, I won those games no matter what I threw your way. No way am I going to lose any of our fights, dattebara!" Hanami said with a big Uzumaki grin.

"Experience says otherwise." Kaida said with her usual stoic expression.

"You'll regret those words." Hanami said.

"No I won't." Kaida responded. "I just feel pity for the village, as usual."

"What do you mean pity? Everyone is going to get to see the most amazing show yet!" Hanami argued.

"Then will be forced to clean it up." Kaida said with a frown.

"Tou-chan and I will make clones to help with most of it~. Problem solved." Hanami said with a bright smile.

"Like father, like daughter. You both can be far too thoughtless." Kaida said with her eyes closed.

"Not true! We put a lot of thought into this!" Hanami exclaimed.

"A lot of thought into what?" A new voice spoke, causing Hanami to flinch and turn to see a masked woman with silver hair kneeling beside her.

"Hello~." The young, masked woman greeted with a pair of eye smiles and a wave.

"Hello, Hatake." Kaida greeted the newcomer.

"Aiya-onee-chan! How are you?" Hanami greeted the older girl, putting on a grin and hiding her map behind her back.

Aiya Hatake was a tall fourteen-year-old with shoulder length silver hair that was spiky at the bottom of it and had locks of hair framing the sides of her face with bangs covering her forehead, and she had black eyes. The lower half of her face was covered by a black mask, just like her father, and wore a standard Jonin vest, a navy shirt with the right sleeve being short and the left being long and loose, a pair of fingerless gloves with metal plating on the back of them, a navy skirt, a pair of wedge heel shinobi boots that extended up to her knees, a hitai-ate worn around her waist like a belt and hanging off of her 'belt' was a small white piece of fabric with the kanji for 'fire' [火] on it.

"Oh, doing just fine. Just out on a nice stroll when I saw you on this building and I got curious." Aiya said as she stood up straight with her hands on her hips.

"That's a lie." Kaida stated.

"You and your brother are so astute." Aiya said with a pair of eye smiles. "Interesting plan you got here by the way." Aiya said as she unfurled the map Hanami had which was now in her own hands.

"What the-?!" Hanami brought the paper she had in her hand and unfurled it, only to see a little doodle of Aiya's face giving a peace sign. "How does she keep doing stuff like that?!" Hanami questioned; disliking being bamboozled. Only she has the right to bamboozle people!

"Hmm~, big plan. Big plan indeed." Aiya said with an intrigued tone.

"If you try and wreck this, I swear this will end in horror for you!" Hanami warned the older girl with a glare and a pointing finger.

"I better not be used as a prop again." Kaida said, glancing to the pink haired Uzumaki.

"Now calm down, calm down. I don't want to mess with your little plan. I want to assist in it." Aiya said with a pair of eye smiles, surprising Hanami while Kaida blinked her eyes, remaining stoic. "From the looks of it, you haven't finished covering the east."

"I would have had Inori help with that, but I learned last time that she couldn't hide things. She didn't tell kaa-chan, but she was telling everybody else. Had to put one of my socks into her mouth to get her to shut up." Hanami said with a frown and her eyes looking to the side as she crossed her arms.

"Well, I can help with that."

"How?" Hanami questioned.

"Who do you think taught Arata his Raiton Chakura Mōdo (Lightning Release Chakra Mode)." Aiya said before her body burst with lightning chakra with her hair sticking up as a result. "Be back in a few." Aiya said as she then vanished.

"Why didn't you do that?" Hanami asked Kaida.

"Because I don't know it." Kaida answered.

"Well that's dumb." Hanami said with a frown.

"Hn." Kaida responded.

It was now evening, and Sakura was finishing up the last of her paperwork. She left Arashi with her parents after spending her free time with them. The moment she got into the hospital, all the nurses greeted her with bright smiles and major compliments, same with the female doctors, but they showed more reserve. The nurses were just giddier with excitement considering what today was.

It made her sigh. She was always happy and admittedly a little excited whenever Naruto prepared a surprise, but she'd be lying if she said she wasn't annoyed with how every female saw it as a spectacle to view for their own entertainment as well.

Still, despite being a bit annoyed by it, she wasn't as annoyed as the male populace. They all dreaded this day. Naruto showed-off his devotion to such an insane degree that the men feel small compared to him, which if you'd ask Sakura, they were considering it is Naruto, but it also didn't help that any of them with a crush or a woman in their life gushed over how amazing Naruto's surprises were for her, and how they vocally made it clear they wished they had someone who would put in the same amount of effort.

The only one she knows who doesn't blatantly speak out or even passively so about how they wish that they could receive a great surprise or anything close to such was Hinata, but then again, she has always been the kind of girl who preferred a more reserved and calm surprise than something grand. Not to say she wouldn't appreciate it, but some girls like things a bit smaller, and Hinata was one of them. No doubt one of the things Sasuke both appreciates and loves about her.

Sakura sighed with relief as she finished the last of her paperwork.

"Done. Thank goodness I had clones do a good number of these while I did the rest of my work. Thank you, Naruto." Sakura said with a small smile as she placed the last piece of paper on the pile next to her, but then suddenly seals aglow covered her office as then with a poof many bouquets and vases of flowers appeared in her office with cherry blossom petals raining down from the ceiling over her. Sakura's eyes were wide in shock. After blinking, she closed them and smiled. "I should not be surprised, yet I am." Sakura said with a lightly amused smile. A knock then came at her door. "Who could that be?" Sakura 'wondered' to herself as she got up from her seat and walked over towards the door and opened it.

"Otanjōbiomedetō, Sakura-chan, my love!" Naruto greeted Sakura with a bright, toothy Uzumaki grin as he extended a bouquet of roses and cherry blossoms. The sounds of women going 'aw~' was heard throughout the halls. "Sorry, a bunch of them followed me in. Guess they wanted to wish you happy birthday too before you left." Naruto said with a bit of a bashful grin as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Oh, I'm sure they did." Sakura said with a smirk as she took the bouquet from her husband's hands. She then noticed something different with his attire. "You're wearing a dress shirt and tie?" Sakura questioned, seeing that Naruto exchanged his jacket for a black dress shirt and orange tie with a horizontal black line at the bottom of it.

"I figured the occasion called for something a little nice, dattebayo." Naruto said with a bit of a flustered grin and a pink blush cascading his whiskered cheeks.

"Yet you're still wearing your Hokage cloak." Sakura gestured to the orange haori with black flames at the hem and short sleeves.

"Oh, you want me to just take it of then?" Naruto asked, already taking off his cloak.

"No, of course not." Sakura said as she stopped her husband by grabbing his haori and putting it back on properly. "I think it looks perfect altogether on you." Sakura said with a smile, making Naruto smile back with a wide one.

"Aw~." The surrounding nurses in the halls gushed over the exchange.

"Ahem." Sakura cleared her throat, looking to the nurses with a serious expression, causing them to flinch and hurry back to their duties. "They have too much fun with this every year." Sakura said with a small frown.

"To be fair, it is a fun day to celebrate." Naruto said with a bright smile.

"Only because of you, Naruto. Every year." Sakura said with a smirk and her hands on her hip.

Naruto gave Sakura a smirk as he then offered his arm to his wife. Sakura's smiled as she wrapped her arms around Naruto's. The two made their way out of the hospital, with nurses, female doctors and patients having their eyes on them with smile on their faces. Some even wishing Sakura luck for whatever big thing Naruto has planned.

As if she really needed it.

The men of the village needed that more than her.

Once outside, Sakura noticed a pair of trails of Sakura petals, forming a pathway.

"A pathway made of cherry blossom petals, huh?" Sakura said with a bit of an amused smirk.

"It is going to be a bit of a walk. This looks like the best way on not getting lost." Naruto said, acting innocent.

"Perhaps to the Hokage Monument, I'm guessing." Sakura said with a knowing smirk.

"Who's to say." Naruto said glancing away, trying to act inconspicuous and clearly failing at it.

Sakura chuckled a bit as she and Naruto followed the path, with the nurses watching them walk off within the hospital, silently cheering Sakura on. Sakura looked up to Naruto. Seeing his bright, confident smiling face. Sure did make him look handsome. Just that look reminded Sakura of how far her husband had come from such an immature brat into the man respected by all. The man she respected above all else. She felt so lucky to walk beside him. Something she never knew would be something that would make her feel so special. She wished that she did when she was younger, but she was glad to be able to experience it now in their adult years.

This surprise may be grand, but she was already more than happy and fulfilled with today just by being with him. This always made her birthdays all the more better.

Being here. With him.

Naruto. Her husband.

Sakura sighed happily as she snuggled her head into her husband's arm, making Naruto smile warmly with equally warm cheeks as he leaned into her as well, enjoying having her by his side.

The one thing he ever wanted and was blessed to have.

Outside of a store stood Kiba and Shino, staring down at two rows of Sakura petals. They had bags in their hands while they waited outside with frowns on their faces.

"Hey tou-chan. Shino-sensei." Wasabi greeted her dad with a wave as she and her team were walking by.

"Hello, Kiba-san. Shino-sensei." Namida greeted the pair with a smile.

"Evening." Tsubaki greeted the pair as well with a stoic expression.

"Hello." Shino greeted back as he and Kiba's eyes never left the petals.

"Hmm." Kiba grunted out.

"What's up with these petals?" Wasabi questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"They're out mental demise for the next week." Kiba answered with a frown.

"Huh?" Wasabi questioned with a raised eyebrow. She then noticed a brunette woman with hazel eyes walking out the store with a toddler that looked just like her, but with red fang markings on her cheeks like Kiba's in her arms. "Hi kaa-chan. Hey Erity." Wasabi greeted the brunette woman and the toddler.

"Hi sweetheart." Tamaki greeted her daughter with the child in her arms giving a bark in response to the older girl.

Erity looked just like her mother with long brunette hair and hazel eyes, but with Kiba's skin tone and a pair of Inuzuka markings on her cheeks. She had a grey sleeveless hoodie with fur on her hoodie like her father's old one, a pair of black baggy shorts and blue shinobi sandals.

"Check it out." Wasabi pointed to the cherry blossom petals on the ground making a path.

"Wait, don't!" Kiba tried to stop his wife from looking, but it was too late.

"Aw~, look at this! Naruto did this, didn't he? Sakura's so lucky." Tamaki said with a gushing smile. "Kiba, I bet you got something just as sweet waiting for my birthday too, huh?" Tamaki asked her husband with a bright, hopeful smile.

"Of course, honey~." Kiba said with a nervous chuckle. "You're lucky your wife isn't here right now." Kiba whispered to Shino.

"That is the reason why I told her I'd take care of the groceries myself tonight." Shino answered in a low tone.

"Damn. Should have thought of that." Kiba muttered to himself with a frown.

"Here they come!" A woman civilian called out as Naruto and Sakura came into view.

All the females clapped their hands and cheered with joy and support, while the men just calmly clapped showing their own support, but still feeling sore on Naruto's tribute to his wife.

"Hey guys." Naruto greeted Kiba and the others as he and his wife passed them by.

"Hey, Naruto." Kiba greeted the Hokage with a dispirited tone and dull, yet annoyed expression.

"Evening." Shino greeted Naruto with a more reserved composure but was feeling the same as his old teammate on the inside.

"Ganbare (Good luck), Sakura-san!" Tamaki called out with a small smile with her youngest making barking noises in agreement.

Sakura chuckled a bit with embarrassment as she waved to Tamaki. She may have mentally prepared herself for this, but preparation can do so much when what you're readying for happens.

"Wow. She's so lucky." Namida said with a bright, gushing smile and shimmering eyes.

"She sure is." Tamaki said with the same expression on her own face.

'Damn that man.' Kiba said, slouching as he glared at Naruto.

.

.

The row of petals stopped in front of the Hokage Monument.

"Well, here we are." Sakura said looking up the giant mountain structure.

"And up we go." Naruto said as he suddenly picked his wife up bridal style and leaped high into the air and landed atop of it.

Shinachiku was hiding nearby and noticed his father landed at the designated spot, so he put his fingers into a ram seal.

"Kai." Shinachiku spoke out as then a cloud of smoke appeared before Naruto and Sakura which dissipated to reveal a large blanket with what looked to be a small banquet upon it. "Ganbare, tou-chan." Shinachiku said with a smile. "And good luck Konoha." He added before vanishing from sight.

Naruto put Sakura down back onto her feet as she looked to the meals placed in front of them.

"Syrup coated red bean dumplings, umeboshi, animitsu, jelly deserts-"

"All your favorites." Naruto said with a smile. "Along with some extra stuff like dango, taiyaki, chicken fillet, some sake, fruit filled onigiri-"

"And ramen. Lots and lots of ramen." Sakura said with a smirk and shaking her head.

"Well, ramen is what we had on our first date, dattebayo." Naruto said with a grin.

"Only because I allowed it." Sakura said with her hands on her hips.

"And I love you for that." Naruto said as he hugged Sakura and kissed her on the cheek, making her giggle. "Well, shall we?" Naruto gestured towards the picnic in front of them.

Sakura smiled and nodded as she and Naruto sat down and started eating.

Hanami was atop of a building, using a telescope to view the Hokage Monument. Aiya and Kaida were with her, standing by with the former having her arms crossed.

Shinachiku suddenly appeared but was forced to leap away with a yelp as Kaida almost struck him at a blinding speed with her bokken.

"What the heck, Kaida?!" Shinachiku shouted with shock.

"You just appeared. Be prepared for retaliation." Kaida said nonchalantly as she tied her bokken back into the strap on her waist.

"You should be the last person to complain about someone suddenly appearing next to you." Shinachiku said with a frown.

"And yet I am the only one ever prepared for such an occurrence. Unlike so many other shinobi in this village." Kaida said in monotone.

"Hello, Shina-chan." Aiya greeted the young Kōdona genin with a pair of eye smiles and hidden smile.

"Aiya-onee-chan! I mean, sensei! H-Hi." Shinachiku flinched with worry. "Uh… are you-"

"On your side? Yes, I am." Aiya said, calming Shinachiku.

"Oh, thank goodness. Then again, it is you we're talking about." Shinachiku said rubbing the back of his head as he walked over to his sister. "Everything set?" Shinachiku asked.

"Yup. All standing by. Just waiting for the signal." Hanami said as she focused her sights solely on the Hokage Monument. 'Ready whenever you are, tou-chan.'

.

.

Naruto and Sakura were now sharing a sundae that Naruto had prepared in a separate scroll. The two smiled blissfully as they finished their sundae. Once done, Sakura sighed with satisfaction.

"Well, that was a wonderful meal." Sakura said with a satisfied smile. "Well, it's near the end of the day. So… where's this big surprise you're no doubt dying to show me?" Sakura asked with a knowing smirk.

"Hmm~. Are you sure you want to see it?" Naruto 'asked' as he rubbed his chin with his eyes closed.

"Don't play smooth." Sakura said.

"Fine. If you're ready for it." Naruto said with a smile as he stood up from the blanket and offered his hand to Sakura, who took it and allowed him to help her up. "Sakura-chan… you are the most special person in my life. The only one who I want to always be by my side, no matter what, in this life and the next. I am proud to be your husband and the father of your children. You gifted me with so much that I could never see my life without. I thank you for it all, but more importantly I thank the gods themselves for gifting this world with your birth. This day is more precious to me than the day I became the Hokage, and that will never change." Naruto said with a warm, heart-felt tone that made Sakura tear up with a happy smile. "I love you with all my heart. A love so great that it reaches the heavens where no one can ignore it. Not even the kamis themselves… and it's time for them all to know, dattebayo!" Naruto said, causing Sakura's eyes to widen in realization on what he might be planning.

Naruto aimed his finger towards the sky and fire a bullet of golden flaming chakra that burst into the sky.

.

.

"That's the signal!" Hanami shouted as she quickly took out a walkie-talkie. "Golden Daddy wants to lighten things up! Pink Heaven is a go! Go!" Hanami exclaimed through her walkie-talkie.

"Yosha!" Multiple voices, many of them sounding like her own, responded.

Suddenly, throughout the village, clones of Hanami and Aiya lit up pink firework rockets with pouches tied to them that then fired into the sky.

Reaching up to the clouds themselves, the fireworks exploded in large flashy explosions of pink.

Everyone within the village looked up to see the fireworks show up above them. However, they noticed something raining upon the village itself.

Cherry blossom petals.

The fireworks exploded with the pouches tied to them being filled with Sakura petals that rained upon the village itself, covering the entire sky with a rainfall of petals with the sky becoming bright with pink.

Within the Hyūga estate, Sasuke and his wife, Hinata, were sitting by with their youngest, Jin, resting in Hinata's arms, and their youngest pair of twins, Hisa and Hisoka, sitting beside them, while their seven-year-old daughter, Kure, was staring up at the sky that sparked with pink lights and rained cherry blossom petals with shimmering eyes and a wide-open mouth smile with Arata and Tsukia looking up and smiling beside her.

(Jin's eyes were grey just like her eldest brother's and her hair was black with some bangs over her forehead and her hair a bit pass her shoulders. She was still a baby, wrapped in a blanket and wearing a light grey shirt with the Uchiha symbol printed on the front, black pants and grey socks.

Hisa, looked more like her mother. Her right eye was a pearl white making it her Byakugan eye and her left eye was onyx colored, making it her Sharingan eye. Her hair was a hime-cut that went a bit pass her shoulder with the end tied with a marble hair tie that held a tuft of hair in a hime-cut, and she had strands of hair framing the side of her face which were looped in the shape of crescents. She wore a long sleeve white shirt with puffy sleeves, a pale purple button up vest over it, a pale purple skirt with black stockings underneath it and midnight blue shinobi sandals.

Hisoka, looked more like his father. His right eye was onyx making it his Sharingan eye and his left eye was pearl white, making it his Byakugan eye. His hair style seemed similar to his father's old style, but instead of the back of it being spiky in a feather back sort of way, it was instead one smooth spike back, like a cone, but its end was curved at the end making the end of his hair similar to a crescent moon. He wore a long sleeve black turtleneck tee, white shorts with black lines on the side and a pair of black shinobi sandals.

Kure looked just like her mother but with her father's eyes, like her elder sister, Tsukia. Her hair seemed to be a mix of Hinata and Sasuke's hairstyles from when they were twelve, with her hair looking like a short hime-cut with a pair of strands framing the sides of her face just like her mother's old hair style, but with the strand's ends being cut and the back with more feathered up and spiky like Sasuke's old style of hair. She wore a pink sweater with white frills at the ends of the sleeves, a lavender skirt with flowers printed on it, black stockings underneath the skirt, lavender shinobi sandals, a brooch on the left breast of her sweater that was in the shape of a dandelion, and she had a pink hairband that had a dandelion attached to it. Also, the Uchiha insignia and Hyūga insignia were on the back of her sweater with her father's clan symbol being about her mother's clan symbol.)

"Mama! Papa! Look at the sky! It's so pretty!" Kure said with awe as she then spun around with her hands up, catching Sakura petals in her hands.

"Yes. It's beautiful." Hinata said with a warm smiling, happy to see the joy on her daughter's face.

"Oh, would you look at that." Hiashi walked outside with his younger daughter, Hanabi, with him to see the show above the village. "Clearly this has to be another surprise from Naruto." Hiashi said with a small smile and his arms crossed.

"This does have the dobe's name written all over it." Sasuke said.

"More like Sakura's with him holding the pen." Hanabi said with an amused smile.

"Hn." Arata smirked. He looked to his twin sister who stared up with a look of awe, shimmering eyes, her hands interlocked and a tint of pink across her cheeks. 'I can't promise he'd go as far for you if you both end up together, but I do know Shinachiku will make you feel just as special. Ganbare, imouto.' Arata thought with a soft smile as he wished Tsukia luck.

Within the village, Shikamaru was walking home with his son by his side, both with their hands in their pockets as they looked up towards the sky.

"Dammit Naruto. You just had to go this big this year." Shikamaru said with a frown.

"You want to just take the long way home to save yourself from kaa-chan's bickering?" Shikadai asked his father.

"As welcoming as that idea is, your mother would just bicker more if we did." Shikamaru said with a frown and sigh.

"Wow! This is so beautiful!" Chocho said with an amazed expression as she stared up at the sky with her parents, Choji and Karui. "The Hokage sure knows how to treat a woman. Sakura-sama is so lucky!" Chocho said holding her cheeks as she sighed dreamily. "I hope I get someone who's as amazing as him."

"I wish she wouldn't act like this every year." Karui said with her hands on her hips.

"What? You don't like the show?" Choji asked his wife.

"It's fine. A bit loud, but fine. I just wish it didn't raise Chocho's standards any higher for the future. At this rate the kind of guy she wants won't exist and we won't become grandparents." Karui said with a frown.

"You got a point." Choji said chuckling nervously with a sweat drop.

"Wow~! It's gorgeous!" Inori said with awe and shimmering, dazzled eyes as she stood outside of her family's flower shop with her mother. "I hope my future guy does something this amazing for me~." Inori said, interlocking her hands together as she sighed dreamily.

'Good luck to him then.' Ino thought with an amused smile.

"Man, I'll never understand what makes these women so fascinated." Inojin said, looking down to his mother and sister as he and his father were sitting atop of the roof of the flower show, painting the fireworks display.

"Aren't you fascinated by this?" Sai asked, smiling down to his eldest.

"Well, yes, but through an artist's perspective. Other than that, I don't see what makes women so giddy about this kind of stuff." Inojin said as he resumed his artwork while his father chuckled at his son's words.

"See That?! My son-in-law is doing that! Hell Yeah!" Kizashi cheered with a big ol' grin as he thrust his fists into the air, enjoying the show above him with his wife and their youngest grandchild.

"Gracious. That father of yours does not know the meaning of 'controlling yourself'." Mebuki said to Arashi, who's hand she was holding, as she shook her head with a smirk on her face.

"Did he ever?" Arashi rhetorically asked, making his grandmother giggle with a smile on her face.

"Here's to you gaki! Great work!" Tsunade said, sitting on at a table on the balcony of a restaurant, raising her glass cup of sake to the sky. "Sakura, you lucky girl. I envy you." Tsunade said with a smile as she drank cup of sake.

"IT IS SO GLORIOUS!" Lee shouted out as he and Tenten, who was holding a little girl who looked just like her but with her hair tied in a ponytail and bangs over the right side of her forehead in her arms, looked up the sky.

"That's Naruto for you." Tenten said with a small smile.

"Tenten, I swear I will do something even more glorious for your birthday! I promise you!" Lee said with anime tears as he held his wife by the shoulders.

"That's alright, Lee. No need to push yourself." Tenten said with a sweat drop down her head.

"Papa! Kaa-sama! Are you seeing how explosive Hokage-sama's tribute to his wife is?!" Metal called out to his parents as he rushed over towards them.

"Yes, Metal!" Lee said to his son.

"Kind of hard not to." Tenten said with a humorous smirk.

"Metal, I swore to your mother that I will make her birthday surprise even more glorious than what you are seeing now!" Lee proclaimed, grasping his on by the shoulders.

"I will help you, Papa! Only Kaa-sama deserves the best and we will outdo this together!" Metal proclaimed with as much conviction as his father.

"Metal!"

"Papa!"

"I am so grateful to have you as my son!" Lee proclaimed with proud anime tears as he brought his son into a tight embrace.

"And I am so grateful to be the son of such astounding and youthful parents like you and Kaa-sama!" Metal proclaimed with his own proud anime tears as he returned the embrace as a light around himself and his father appeared, rivaling the pink glow from above.

"In one ear and out the other with these two." Tenten said with a tired smirk while her daughter, Kuin, had a deep opened mouth frown and dull-anime eyes from just looking at the sight of her father and brother's display of Youth.

"My lord, it's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen someone do for their wife. Congrats to you, Sakura-san." Tamaki said with a bright smile and shimmer eyes, while her youngest daughter whined as she covered her ears, annoyed by the sound.

"Damn you, Naruto." Kiba muttered with a frown.

"Don't worry tou-chan, you got more than enough time to come up with kaa-chan's special surprise." Wasabi said with a grin and wink as she nudged her dad.

"Don't mess with your father." Kiba said with an annoyed look as his eldest daughter then laughed.

Up on the Hokage Monument, Sakura stared up at the sky with wide, shocked shimmering eyes. She could not believe what she was seeing. This… is beyond words.

"Do you love it, Sakura-chan?" Naruto asked.

"H-Huh?!" Sakura looked to her husband with a blush. "I-It's sweet… but I can't believe you! Now the whole village is going to be covered in flower petals! It may be beautiful but it's going to be such a pain for everyone the next day. How careless can you be Naruto? You're the Hokage after all!" Sakura quickly said, looking to the side with her arms crossed.

"So, you do love it! I'm glad, dattebayo!" Naruto said with a bright, joyous Uzumaki grin.

Sakura groaned with a pout as her cheeks were all red. She then noticed Naruto extended a pair of flowers to her. A branch filled with cherry blossoms and an orange tithonia flower, both tied together by red string.

Sakura blinked her eyes before taking them from her husband's hand with a warm smile on her face. She looked to her husband, who was smiling warmly as well, and kissed him on the lips.

"Thank you, Naruto. This is the best one so far." Sakura said, smiling warmly.

"I hoped it would be. Ai shite iru (I love you), Sakura-chan." Naruto said with a warm smile.

"Ai shite iru, Naruto." Sakura said as she snuggled into her husband, who wrapped his arms around her.

The two stood there, enjoying one another's warmth as the sky was covered with pink lights with pink petals raining down upon the village.

It was late into the night.

Sakura was busy tucking her youngest into bed, with Arashi already fast asleep. Once he was tucked tightly into the covers, she kissed him on his forehead.

"Oyasumi, my Akai Honō (Red Blaze)." Sakura said with a loving, motherly smile as she gently brushed her hands against her snoozing son's hair.

Naruto was busy tucking in their daughter Hanami in a separate room.

"Have a good night, Hanami-chan." Naruto said to his daughter.

"We got her good this year, huh?" Hanami asked with a hopeful smile.

"Better than all the years before put together." Naruto said with a smile.

"Yes! Mission accomplished!" Hanami cheered with a proud Uzumaki grin with her fist up.

"Hai." Naruto said with his own proud Uzumaki grin as he lightly bumped fists with his daughter. "Great work, Hana-chan. Arigato."

"Hey, hey! Next time is going to be on my birthday! Your wedding anniversary! I got something brewing in the works for myself to surprise kaa-chan!" Hanami said with an excited grin.

"I can't wait to see it." Naruto said with a smile as he then leaned down and kissed her forehead. "Oyasumi, Hanami-chan." Naruto wished his daughter good night with a loving, fatherly smile.

"Oyasumi, Papa." Hanami said to her father with a bright smile on her face. "See you in the morning." Hanami added as she watched her father head out of her room.

"See you in the morning, my Pinku no Hibana (Pink Spark)." Naruto said with one last smile as he then closed the door to his daughter's room. He headed down the hall where he met his son, who came out of his room with a toothbrush in his mouth. "Nice work on the meal, Shina-chan. Arigato." Naruto thanked his eldest son.

"Anytime, tou-chan." Shinachiku said with a smile. He raised his fist up, bumping fists with his father.

"Oyasumi, Midori no Hari (Green Beam)." Naruto said, smiling to his son as he passed him by.

"Yoru (Night), tou-chan." Shinachiku wished his father goodnight as he walked back into his room and continued brushing his teeth.

Naruto made his way back into his and Sakura's room to find her sitting on their bed, waiting for him.

"Heck of a night, huh?" Naruto said as he closed the door behind himself.

"Mm hmm." Sakura responded.

"Got a lot to do in the morning. Especially me with the clones, dattebayo." Naruto said as he took off his orange and black jacket and hanging it up.

"Uh huh." Sakura responded.

"Not sure if I could ever top this, but you never know, dattebayo." Naruto said with a smile as he made his way over towards their bed.

"Mm hmm." Sakura responded.

"Uh, Sakura-chan… are you okay?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow, kind of worried as he stopped in front of his wife.

Sakura looked up to him with a serious look, causing Naruto to flinch. After a moment of silence, Sakura turned off the room's lights and grabbed Naruto by his shirt, pulling him in to lock lips with him.

Sakura moaned with delight as she tossed her husband onto their bed and continued making out with him as she and Naruto started taking off their clothes.

Naruto gave her one hell of a surprise tonight, and she was all in for returning the favor.

The celebration was over and done with, but the night continued to be filled with love between the Hokage and the woman he loves so much and is grateful for, not just this day, but every day.

End of Chapter 1

So, this is something I've been dying to do since last year. The reason I didn't do so is because the moment I came up with this idea, I already missed Sakura and Hanami's birthdays, and I think Arashi's too. So I waited until the new year came along, and here we are!

Funny, I came up with an idea for a Valentine's Day story as well, but that passed by already when I had that idea as well. Oh well. There's always next year.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this first chapter into this little anthology celebrating the NaruSaku Uzumaki family and I hope you stick around for more. I've got to get my rear-end in gear if I want to post Hanami's birthday on time, which is on NaruSaku day, April 3rd.

At the time of this post, it isn't Sakura's birthday yet, but who cares? Better to post it on the month of her birth for everyone to read and celebrate while counting down the days to her birthday than just posting it on the day and only having a handful read it in celebration for just a day, you know?

First thing I want to mention is that when it comes to the voices of the children of Naruto and Sakura, I see Shinachiku's voice being that of Billy Kametz, the voice for Josuke Higashikata in Jojo Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable, for Hanami I see Kari Wahlgren, the voice of Fu and Tayuya, who I believe is a perfect fit since she also voiced the insane and unpredictable Haruka Haruhara from FLCL, and finally Arashi I see voiced by Colleen Clinkenbeard who is the voice of DBZ: Kai's Gohan and Luffy. I thought those three voices sounded perfect for Naruto and Sakura's children.

And for anyone wondering Arata and Tsukia's voices, the Uchiha twins/Shina's best friends and teammates, I view Arata's being voiced by Austin Tindle, the voice of Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul and Makoto Sunakawa from Ore Monogatari! (My Love Story!), and Tsukia's being voiced by Tia Ballard, the voice of Sylph from Black Clover and Rinko Yamato from Ore Monogatari! (My Love Story!), as well.

Now for those wondering, this story is connected to another story I'm writing titled "We'll Get Home, I Promise". See, the universe that the NaruSaku family along with the characters from this story are from the same universe as the Shinachiku and Arata in that story, so it's connected. I already planned out an entire universe and story for these characters, but I want to see the feedback first on if people would want to follow these characters on a separate adventure of their own.

However, that's not what's important now. What's important is that we fans have something to celebrate and that's the birthdays of each member of the NaruSaku family each month their birthdays roll around, Dattebayo!

Thank you again! Hope you stick around! And Happy Birthday, Sakura!
