10:34 P.M. – Somewhere in Beverly Hills
"...okay, so, let me get this straight. You're saying you can travel through time?" James asked as he glanced in confusion at Boogie Gus, the fellow baddie who was trying to pitch his latest plan to him.
"You really didn't know that I could do that?" Boogie Gus gasped in mock surprise. "Man, kids these days are so jaded..."
"Well, sorry that I don't know everything about their rogues' gallery," James retorted.
"If you weren't so overwhelmingly focused on the green-suited spring chicken, then you'd probably be more willing to pay attention," Boogie Gus sighed. "But, enough of that for now. I've got a real wing-dinger of a scheme this time."
"If it's something that'll help me make Sam mine, then I'm in," James cackled.
"Oh, trust me, this plan will let both of us take our rich revengeance on these crazy crackers," Boogie Gus chuckled. "This may upset you, but I just learned that Sam has a daughter far in the future."
"Wait, in the future?" James wondered.
"Time traveler, dude," Boogie Gus quipped. "And so do Nick and Alex, and she's that other little psychic brat."
"Wait, she's their daughter?!" James gasped. "No one told me that! I just thought she had similar powers!"
"Okay, okay, one thing at a time, dude," Boogie Gus stated. "I'm gonna send you to that future so you can mess up their future selves' happy life, and I'm sure that'll send your present-day squeeze running there so you can take 'em both."
"...that sounds devilishly fun," James cackled. "When can we head out?"
Boogie Gus raised a device on his watch to open a swirling, dark red portal behind them. "Right now, if you're so impatient," Boogie Gus laughed.

Mat49324 and The Blue Time Ranger are proud to present:
Totally Spies: The New Adventures
Episode 68: Future Frenzy
Story Rated: T for Teen
Story Created: October 22nd, 2022
Story Summary: The ninety-fifth co-op project between Mat49324 and The Blue Time Ranger and episode sixty-eight of our mission-based series Totally Spies: The New Adventures. Things are fine in the present day, but when Sam and Mat's future daughter Kana makes an emergency call to the spies of the past, they find out that James has arrived in Klee and Kana's future with assistance from Boogie Gus, all in the hopes of finding a way to ruin Sam and Mat's happy life no matter which point in time he has to do it from. And with the Sam, Alex, and Clover of the future out of commission due to other circumstances, the spies will have to head to the future and hopefully stop James before he can carry out his insane schemes...
Author's Notes from Mat49324: Well, we got through a tense project with Kandinsky hypnotizing Jam, Johnny's old flame, into believing that May was responsible for Johnny's death, when she clearly was not. In addition, that also led to Nick and May rogue-ly bailing for Tachikawa as per the hypnotized Jam's orders. However, believe me, I didn't want that to go unnoticed just like in A.W.O.C. (Absent Without Clover) when Clover had the slap to Nick – remember, Alex and Nick are engaged? You can imagine Alex wouldn't have let that go unpunished. For now, here's The Blue Time Ranger for anything he'd like to say.
Author's Notes from The Blue Time Ranger: It's once again time for another adventure with the daughters of the future! And hey, good ol' Boogie Gus is here, too! I just realized we haven't seen him since the end of A Crack in Time, so I figured it was finally time to bring him back into the villain light. Believe it or not, this story was actually Mat's idea, not mine. I'm surprised I didn't think of something like this earlier on, but hey, any excuse to beat down on James is a win in my book, so let's do the time warp again! ROLL IT!

Act 1: Force From the Future
2:15 P.M. – Malibu University
The Spies' Penthouse
It was another usual day at the Mali-U campus for the spy team a few days after stopping Johnny's old girlfriend Jam from going after Nick and May in Tachikawa – after "up and ditching them" as Melissa put it.
Currently, most of the spies were on class duty or sports practices, but a few of them were in the penthouse with no duties at the moment. Mat had come out of his dorm room in his swim shorts; he was still feeling overjoyed over the last Supercross race at Daytona, which was won by Suzuki's Chad Reed while Yamaha's James Stewart had suffered a bad crash in the main and came back to finish 7th.
"Dude, what's on your mind?" Mat wondered when he saw Nick thinking of something.
"Just thinking about another surprise for Alex and May and Nozomi," Nick freely replied. "I can't decide between doing dinner again or lunch... or..."
"Well, I hope you think of something," Mat told him. "The pool outside's another option..."
"True there," Nick replied.
He then watched Mat walk outside. That was when Melissa came out not too far behind Mat; she had a two-piece on.
"You got a couple minutes, Melissa?" Nick then asked.
"Okay, sure, what?" Melissa wondered.
"Well... oh, jeez, how do I put this without sounding dumb?" Nick sighed. "Well, I wanna surprise my girls with a dinner date of sorts, but now I'm not sure if I wanna make it a lunch or a dinner, or..."
"Hey, take it from me, I think a dinner date would be your best bet," Melissa answered. "I do have some experience in that field, thanks to Mat."
"Speaking of Mat, I'm glad you're happy with him, sis," Nick stated.
"I have you to thank for giving me the courage to confess," Melissa giggled.
Mat had just jumped in the pool by himself when he did notice Sam returning to the penthouse in her barista outfit. Sam noticed him swimming as well.
"I hope you just started and was waiting for me..." Sam teased Mat.
"Waiting for you and Brit and Melissa," Mat replied back, having that in mind already.
Sam already had that confirmation when Melissa came dashing out, passed Sam, and leaped into the pool past Mat.
"...yep," Sam sighed as Melissa resurfaced.
"You coming in for our pool date?" Mat asked Sam.
"Let me get ready," Sam chuckled, but still smiling in her heart that Mat was happier all year long than he'd ever been after what had happened away from missions.
She still had her things with her, too as she went inside. That was when she noticed Nick still contemplating what he wanted to do; Sam didn't think anything of it and went to put her essentials away.
"I don't even know what to do..." Nick chastised to himself.
He just casually looked in a different direction to see Sam walking by in her red and white tie-on bikini and seemed a bit... flustered, as if he'd turned and saw Mat's own fiancée naked in a way.
"Everything okay, Nick?" Sam asked.
"Yeah, just... thinking about stuff, I guess," Nick quipped. "I do that a lot."
"Duly noted," Sam giggled. "What's up?"
So, Nick told Sam about his dilemma and asked if there was anything she could help him with.
"Well, have you thought of a place for said dinner?" Sam wondered.
"I was thinkin' about Dreaming of Paris, since I know May and Nozomi haven't been there yet," Nick quipped. "Yeah, I think I'mma do that. Thanks for those things to use, Sam."
At least he had some time because May, Bridget, and Haruka were away on a road trip with the Mali-U Water Polo team.
Simultaneously, as Sam stepped out to swim with Mat and Melissa, Britney came back to the penthouse with Dawn and Nozomi in tow. Britney also knew about the pool date Mat wanted.
"Just got under way, Brit," Mat told her.
"Okay great," Britney grinned.
"You didn't miss much," Nozomi giggled as Britney went inside.
Alex, Clover, and Blaine were also near the penthouse entrance as well; when Nick saw Nozomi come in, and then Alex, he tried to keep things casual and not let them find out.
Thankfully, he was distracted from that when Sam's X-Powder began to beep. Sam opened it up to answer whoever was calling her, but stared in honest confusion at her X-Powder screen.
"What's the matter, Sam?" Mat asked.
"That's weird," Sam stated. "The screen's all static-y, almost like whoever's calling me is having trouble getting through."
"You don't think it's just a prank call?" Melissa wondered. "Those are sadly still a thing, after all."
"That's the thing," Sam replied. "I usually only use my X-Powder for anything related to W.O.O.H.P., so..."
Just then, a voice came through the call, though it was heavily distorted by the unstable connection.
"C-Can... can anyone hear me?"
"This is getting weird real fast," Nick quipped.
Suddenly, Sam gasped in shock when she realized that she knew the voice trying to reach out to her. Sam quickly started typing on her X-Powder keyboard, trying to smooth out the connection.
Eventually, the screen lost most of its static to reveal a thirteen-year-old girl with brown hair and eyes and glasses standing in what looked to be W.O.O.H.P. Headquarters, only much more advanced.
"K-Kana?!" Sam gasped. Indeed, it was Kana, Sam and Mat's future daughter.
"Oh, thank goodness I finally got through," Kana proclaimed. "Sorry if this is too sudden, mom, but we've got a major problem!"
"It must be a pretty big one if you're calling for our help," Nick stated. "What's going on over there?"
"Some weirdo's ransacking our headquarters and trying to find my mom and dad," Kana stated. "Klee's heading him off and making sure he doesn't break anything, but I don't know why he's so obsessed with my mom..."
Just then, it clicked, and Sam subconsciously clenched her free hand suddenly wishing she could shove said hand up a certain person's keester.
"Oh, he didn't," Sam growled. "He seriously wouldn't dare..."
"Do you know this guy, mama?" Kana asked.
"Oh, I sure as heck do, sweetie, and when I find him, he's seriously going to wish he stayed in his containment cell this time," Sam stated. "We'll be there just as soon as we can, Kana."
"Please hurry!" Kana exclaimed before the connection was lost to static, no doubt unstable from attempting to reach across time.
"Let's get to W.O.O.H.P., everyone," Sam proclaimed. "I'll explain on the way."
Though slightly confused, the other nine spies all nodded and followed Sam out of Mali-U and towards W.O.O.H.P. Headquarters.
3:11 P.M. – W.O.O.H.P. Headquarters
Jerry's Office
"Well, well, spies, is everything all right?" Jerry asked once the ten spies all entered his office. He knew that May, Haruka and Bridget's absence was because of their road game. "It's exceedingly rare to see you just walk in here of your own accord."
"Long story short, Jerry, there's trouble in the future," Nick proclaimed. "James apparently took a trip through time because he wants to harass our future selves this time around."
"I assume it's... well, 'time' to fire up the Time Twister?" RiCO stated.
"Speaking of which, how the heck did James get to the future anyways?" Nozomi wondered. "He didn't use the Time Twister himself, did he?"
"Nope, the Time Twister hasn't actually been used since the last time you all went to Klee's future," RiCO answered. "Which can only mean that Boogie Gus is somehow involved."
"Ooh, I should have known he'd be back eventually," Alex quipped, knowing that they hadn't heard anything out of Boogie Gus since they undid his use of the Genesis Wave.
"The Time Twister is all powered up and ready to go, spies," RiCO stated as a secret hallway opened up in the office, revealing a short hallway that led to the Time Twister. "Just tell me how far ahead you're going."
"Same as last time, twenty-one years," Mat responded.
"Roger that! Commencing time shift!" RiCO proclaimed once the spies had stepped onto the Time Twister.
Lightning crackled along the transmitter tips for a couple seconds before enveloping the ten spies in a large black-and-blue bubble of energy. When it collapsed in on itself, the spies had vanished.
1:36 P.M. – W.O.O.H.P. Headquarters
Twenty-One Years in the Future
Once the spies all stepped out of the Time Twister transport bubble, they initially didn't see any sign of James or Boogie Gus, though Jerry's office (or what they assumed was Jerry's office, things might have changed) was out of sorts.
"I think he was here," Britney quipped.
"Kana, where are you?" Sam called out, worried for her future daughter's safety.
"I'm right here, mom!" Kana responded as she emerged from behind a file cabinet that had been knocked down in the chaos, then ran up to hug her mother.
"That son of a biscuit didn't hurt you, did he?" Sam asked.
"I'm fine, mom, I hid behind the cabinets until he left," Kana replied. "Given I don't know who this guy is, I didn't want to take any chances."
"Smart move, Kana," Mat stated.
"Wait, you don't know who James is, Kana?" Alex wondered.
"Mom and dad never really talked about him, but I figured if he was from your time, I would have known about him," Kana quipped.
"Yeah, that is kinda odd," Sam thought. "Maybe future me just didn't want you to know about James, because he is a major sleazeball."
"We'll give you the full story when we don't have two nutballs running around," Nick quipped. "Do you know which way they went, Kana?"
"The last I saw of James, he was heading towards the main lobby," Kana stated.
"Oh, lordy, that doesn't sound any sort of good," Nozomi quipped. "Let's burn rubber, peeps!"
Thankfully, it didn't take too long to find James thanks to Nick's psychic radar, and they caught up with both him and Boogie Gus, who weren't paying attention to them given they were busy avoiding attacks from a now eighteen-year-old Klee.
"Stop swarming us, you stupid little bug!" Boogie Gus shouted.
"You've got a lot of nerve, lying to me about who you were," James proclaimed.
"To be fair, I didn't even remember that until right before that fight," Klee proclaimed, pressing her glowing palms together. "And also, that info was on a need-to-know basis, and you definitely didn't deserve to know!"
As the aquatic-blue glow surrounding her hands began to get brighter, Klee wrenched her hands apart, creating a sphere of psychic energy between her palms. A second later, Klee tossed the sphere of energy into the air, where it bloomed into a four-leaf clover shape, then split apart into multiple smaller four-leaf clovers that surrounded James and Boogie Gus and began firing psychic bolts rapid-fire before flooring both villains with a final shockwave, forcing them to retreat out into Beverly Hills for the moment.
"Guess you didn't need our help after all, huh, Klee?" Nick quipped, catching Klee's attention.
"Papa!" Klee shouted, flying over to hug her father from the past. "You're actually here! That means Kana got through to you, right?"
"Probably just in time," Nick chuckled as Alex joined in the hug. "We're here to stomp James around a few times."
"Yeah, I didn't mention him to Kana at all because Sam and Mat didn't want her to know about mister sleaze," Klee explained. "But now that he's here, I guess that idea's kaput, huh?"
"Don't you worry about a thing, Klee," Alex proclaimed. "We're all here to teach James yet another lesson!"
"That goes double for me," Sam responded. "He really crossed a line this time."
"Ah, I see you're all as spry as ever, huh?"
The spies all turned around and noticed that Sortiliena was standing at the other end of the hallway, though this Sortiliena was obviously older (though she looked almost as young as she did in their own time) and was wearing a much fancier outfit.
"Oop, forgot to re-introduce myself," Sortiliena giggled before saluting to the spies. "Sortiliena Serlut, leader of the World Organization Of Human Protection, at your service!"
"Whoa, Sortiliena, you're W.O.O.H.P.'s head honcho now?" Sam asked. "Is Jerry...?"
"He's doing just fine, but he decided to retire about a year after that whole incident with Corvus and the Demiurge," Sortiliena explained. "Despite how spry that man is, he is in his mid-eighties."
"Yeah, one stroke of bad luck is all it takes, really," Nick quipped.
"All right-y, then, how about we head back to the office so you all can give us the 411?" Sortiliena proclaimed.
"Never thought I'd hear that Jerry actually did retire," Mat commented.
"Totally," Clover commented. "That'd be the LAST thing I'd expected from someone like Jerry..."
"Yeah, he was totally dedicated to W.O.O.H.P. 24/7," Alex added.
"No doubt he was," Sortiliena told the spy team. "Sometimes, things like the Demiurge take a toll on you mentally."
Nick and Mat could certainly agree with that.
"Anyway, we think James, Sam's old squeeze, is responsible for attempting to mess with the future," Melissa then stated. "As is one of our other nemeses, Boogie Gus."
"Right," Sam quipped. "Some of us were enjoying a pool date when Kana came calling."
"Anything else you two know?" Dawn wondered as she looked at Klee and Kana.
"I was actually just walking Kana to her combat training class when I saw a weird red bubble open up in the hallway," Klee explained. "Naturally, I figured that meant Boogie Gus was on the warpath, but I definitely wasn't expecting James, of all people, to be with him."
"I didn't know who that was at first, but when I tried to ask Klee, she just told me to make a break for the office and contact all of you," Kana replied.
"We're also short-handed as of late, too," Sortiliena added. "That's why we told Kana to call you all here, but it seems like you're missing some people, too?"
"Yes, that's right," Alex responded. "Haruka, May, and Bridget aren't with us due to a Water Polo away game."
"Well, as I said, we've been short-handed, too," Sortiliena told them. "Future Clover is away on maternity leave... and Future Sam and Future Alex aren't long from joining Clover either."
Sam's jaw dropped at hearing her future self was pregnant again with baby number two, and Alex was no different.
"OH MY GOODNESS!" Sam gasped as she was overcome with emotion.
She and Mat shared a hug that they were soon to be a family of four in the future. Mat, on the other hand, was having a hard time trying to say anything.
"Oh, wow!" Alex gasped as Nick hugged her tightly, Klee quickly joining in the hug.
"Where are they now?" Britney wondered.
"I transported them back to the beach house," Sortiliena explained. "Future Mat and Future Nick are there since Future Sam and Future Alex are close to their buns coming out of the oven, if you see what I mean..."
"Yeah, we get it," Clover laughed.
"But... wow..." Blaine added as if he were speechless at the turn of events himself.
"And we've pitched in to help a time or two," Future May remarked as she and the rest of the present future spies came into the room.
Specifically, they were Future Dawn, Melissa, Haruka, Bridget, Britney and Nozomi.
"Future Britney has been named temporary leader until everyone can return," Sortiliena added.
"Guess it makes sense," Blaine commented since Britney was the next of the original spy team with the most experience, besides Dean of course.
"I had Sam and Alex on desk duty until then," Sortiliena concluded.
A buzzer started sounding.
"Oh, that means RiCO picked up Boogie Gus and James again..." Sortiliena told the spy team.
"Oh, did I ever," Future RiCO proclaimed from Sortiliena's own X-Powder. "And you're all definitely not going to like this, but it appears they're heading for your beach house!"
"Why did I freakin' call it?!" Sam exclaimed.
"Well, then let's head out and stomp all over them like we usually do," Nick chuckled. "I've been waiting for my chance to get my hands around James' puny little neck again, after all."
3:16 P.M. – The Future Spies' Beach House
"It's nice to know this part of the neighborhood hasn't really changed that much despite the time gap," Britney quipped as the group reached the future beach house, which still mostly resembled how it looked in the present day despite some obvious technological advances.
"That was our idea, actually," Future Britney chuckled. "We kept it mostly the same out of nostalgia."
"That sounds like something we'd do, really," Nozomi stated.
"Now, on to why we're here, any sign of our resident scoundrels?" Clover asked.
"Oh, they're not even being subtle anymore," Nick quipped, pointing to just ahead, where James and Boogie Gus were attempting to break into the beach house. "Let's go show 'em the door, shall we?"
Nick took point, running forward and raising his hand to snatch James in his psychic hold while Klee did the same to Boogie Gus.
"Excuse me, little toadies, are you lost?" Klee teased.
"Oh, you've got the funk to call us toadies?!" Boogie Gus shot back.
"Well, that's pretty much what you are, so why break old trends?" Klee taunted.
"Ooh, you're going to regret every single second of that, you little psychic punk," James growled. "Now put me down this instant."
Nick obliged by smashing James into the ground a few times, then tossing him aside. "Well, he insisted," Nick chuckled.
Klee psychically lifted Boogie Gus into the air before letting him go so that he collapsed on top of James.
Naturally, the noise of the battle attracted the attention of Future Nick and Future Mat, who came outside to see what all the commotion was about.
"Ah, if it isn't the dish," James cackled as he picked himself up and charged towards Future Mat, only for present Mat to intervene and send James sprawling with a flying kick to the back of the head.
"Maybe get a better derogatory nickname, sleazeball, because that's getting really old by now," Mat shot back.
Boogie Gus quickly reached for his 80fier, only to have it snap-kicked out of his hands by, surprisingly, Kana.
"No ancient relics on my watch," Kana giggled.
"Nice one, Kana!" Sam exclaimed.
"Ronye's lessons are paying off big time," Kana laughed.
"Ooh, you're gonna pay for that, you little gremlin gobbler!" Boogie Gus sneered as he reached for another weapon, only for Klee to knock him down with a Final Shine Attack.
"I'm not even going to dignify that with a response," Klee sighed in annoyance.
"Might as well pack it in, James," Sam proclaimed. "We've got you both surrounded!"
James and Boogie Gus both looked at the number of spies they had to deal with, and decided that now was indeed the time for a tactical retreat.
"Know this, you wretches, this isn't over," James stated.
"We'll be back before you can say 'disco inferno'!" Boogie Gus exclaimed as he activated a device that covered them in a bubble of light that allowed them to cover their retreat.
"Oh, I'm sure you will," Nick taunted, before turning back to the matter at hand. "Now, as to what you two might have just seen..."
"Oh, I think I saw more than enough," Future Mat stated. "Just what the heck is James doing here?! I thought he was locked up nice and tight!"
Just then, Future Mat noticed Sam standing there, then looked back at the beach house where he was sure his wife was still inside of.
It was then that Future Mat noticed the other spies that were with them.
"Yeah, we come from the past because this James is from our time as well, and he's a stubborn d-bag who doesn't know when to give it up," Melissa stated.
"How about we get inside and we'll explain everything?" Alex replied.
"Yeah, why don't we do that," Future Nick answered.
Once inside, the spies of the past explained to Future Mat and Future Nick what exactly was going on.
"Jeez, I knew James was demented, but it feels like he reaches a whole new low we didn't think was possible every single time we have to deal with him," Future Mat sighed.
"Have you guys in the future had to deal with him recently?" Britney asked.
"Thankfully, no," Future Nick answered. "The James we all know and... well, know has been staying in the containment facility for a long time now. And I guess I should have figured he'd find a way to travel through time just to futz with us."
"...say, we heard future me is about to have another baby," Sam giggled.
"Ah, so you heard?" Future Mat chuckled.
"Could we say hi to future us, if that's okay?" Alex asked.
"I don't see why not," Future Nick replied.
"We should say though that our wives are certainly far along in their pregnancies," Future Mat told them as he let them in the beach house.
"Sortiliena's been very supportive," Future Nick added. "At first, they were on desk duty, but lately, Sortiliena has been letting them out early."
The spies found Future Clover in the den with her newborn baby; Future Blaine was nearby, too. The spy team exchanged hellos with Future Clover and Future Blaine.
"How long you been out?" Clover asked Future Clover.
"Three weeks starting tomorrow," Future Clover answered while coddling her baby.
"So, where are..." Alex wondered.
"Upstairs," Future Mat replied quickly.
He and Future Nick led them upstairs; Sam immediately knew where her room was, but Future Mat still let Mat, Sam, Britney, and Melissa in first.
"We have some visitors, babe," Future Mat told Future Sam.
Sam remembered her room was left just about that same way when she, Clover, and Alex lived there until they left for Mali-U, and returned for summers. Future Sam was very pleased to see company.
"Mom's been on bed rest for a few days now," Kana told everyone.
"So, what're you having?" Melissa wondered.
"Mat-honey is hoping it's a boy," Future Sam giggled. "But, honestly, I'm not too picky if we have another girl, which is what my instincts are telling me."
Mat and Sam were still beside themselves that this was their own future.
"And naturally," Future Mat added. "Future Britney and Future Melissa have also pitched in and helped as well."
"Naturally," Melissa quipped. "Why wouldn't we?"
"It's nice to know we're all still together in the future, despite... well, everything," Britney giggled.
"Sounds a little expected," Mat commented, considering the circumstances.
"And another thing," Future Sam added. "Mat-honey got into a sports news job he totally loves."
"That's right," Future Mat quipped. "Although it's pretty fast-paced and such, I can't really complain, I'm loving it there."
"I actually got a job at Teen Science Magazine," Future Sam giggled.
"Holy crapbaskets, that magazine's still going?" Sam herself gasped.
"Hey, some things never go out of style, even twenty-one years in the future," Future Sam quipped.
Simultaneously, Future Nick led Nick, Alex, and the rest of the present spies to visit Future Alex.
"It's been a while, huh?" Future Alex giggled. "I honestly didn't expect all of you to show up like this, really."
"When it comes to our rogues' gallery, always expect anything to happen," Nick chuckled.
"Has Klee kept watch over you?" Alex asked.
"Naturally, whenever I get a chance," Klee quipped. "I'm just happy that our family is gonna be expanding soon."
"So, how have you all been doing in the past?" Future Alex wondered.
"About as perfect as we can get, really," Nick quipped. "Any info on baby number two?"
"I'm thinking it might be a girl, but I'd be okay with either," Future Alex answered. "...can I tell you a secret?"
Nick and Alex both leaned in to receive this secret information.
"If it's a girl, I was thinking we'd name her Anya," Future Alex stated, and that brightened Nick and Alex's expressions considerably, given everything that had happened in the Forgotten Land.
"So, have you been able to help out the spies while on leave?" Britney wondered.
"Of course," Future Alex replied. "But... not gonna lie: after each mission, we're wiped out due to our pregnancies; Clover... not so much."
"I would think so since motherhood's already on her mind," Nozomi quipped.
"And Klee's excited on being an older sister," Future Nick laughed.
"No lie there," Klee giggled.
"By the way," Future Haruka told the others. "Since you're down three members, May, Bridget, and I can join up with you and the others can stay back at W.O.O.H.P. and monitor things?"
"What do you think, guys?" Alex wondered.
"Sounds like a plan to me," Melissa proclaimed. "The more, the merrier, am I right?"
"Welp, I think now you guys have something to investigate, because I just spotted James and Boogie Gus heading towards Central City's radio tower!" Future RiCO proclaimed from Sam's X-Powder.
"Oh, wonderful, he'd better not be trying to futz with the tower for some kind of hypnotic scheme," Nozomi quipped. "I still have bad memories of what Corvus tried to pull..."
"I'm just glad that freak's out of our hair now," Alex stated.
"Well, everyone, let's head out!" Nick proclaimed.
4:25 P.M. – Future Beverly Hills
Central City Radio Tower
"Any sign of our marauders?" Future Britney asked once the team had arrived at the radio tower.
Both Nicks sued their psychic radar to scan the area for any anomalies or signs of their on-the-loose villains.
"I'm sensing two very familiar sets of thoughts ascending the tower as we speak," Future Nick proclaimed.
"Yup, that's our baddies," Nick responded. "How about we go and casually interrupt their little schemes, shall we?"
"Oh, I'm all for that," Sam proclaimed. "I seriously have a need to jam my boot heel up James' keester, preferably multiple times."
"And when Sammy starts talking about jamming things up people's keesters, you know she's serious," Clover teased.
Nick did the honors of pushing open the doorway to the inside of the radio tower, which the spies noticed was very dark and creepy at the moment.
"Oof, talk about haunted," Clover quipped.
"Apparently, the city council shut down this radio tower for a while so they can reinforce it and make it harder to use for sinister purposes," Future Haruka proclaimed. "After everything that happened with Corvus, I wasn't surprised in the least."
"Yeah, a dark magic-wielding whackjob using the radio tower to spread his cult-influenced propaganda across the entire city probably warrants a serious security review," Future May teased.
"I guess the only way is up, because I can sense their thoughts on one of the upper floors," Nick stated. "Let's hurry before they try anything else that's skeevy."
The spies all agreed to that, beginning their trek to the upper levels of the radio tower in hopes of unraveling James and Boogie Gus' schemes before things got any crazier than they already were.

Next time...
Sam: Does anyone see anything out of the ordinary?
Melissa: Nope, nothing up here, either.
Nick: Man, it's like they're deliberately staying ahead of us.
Future Britney: Then keep your guard up, because I'm pretty sure that this means they're trying to lure us into a trap.
Clover: Well, this floor's a bust, too.
Klee: Hey, we'll catch up to them soon, I'm sure of it. Oh, hey, I found 'em!
Sam: Oh, what, did you get tired of running from us?
Boogie Gus: Hardly, my little flaky sugar cube.
Nozomi: ...I'm not even going to dignify that with a response.
James: Now, you're going to be my woman, Sam, whether you like it or not. I made sure of it this time.
Alex: Oh, and how is that?
Kana: That's where I've gotta cut in, readers, so we don't spoil anything too important. You'll have to be just a bit more patient until the next act of Totally Spies: Future Frenzy, "Future Unknown"! How was that, mom?
Sam and Future Sam: That was perfect.
Kana: Yay!
