It has been two long years.
A small campfire inside the clearing of a tree with a white wolf the size of a car with blue markings under its eyes.
"Guinness," my partner looked at me as it dragged a carcass along its side.
Taking my guitar, I slowly started to play a soft melody accompanied by the cracking flames. It has been a rough two years. I don't know how I got in here but it has been a long time. I originally arrived in the far east but traveled all the way to the kingdom of Rakia.
From an ordinary modern human being, I became a ranger and a summoner. Mostly wolves, but I can summon a crow and a snake as well. Nice!
This world was tough, medieval, and monsters exist. Strong and weak. Goblins are also here and I became a goblin slayer for a month. Also, some gods and goddesses are here but I ignored them. I won't be a pawn in their games. No way.
I only need my summons. Besides, I need to find a way home. Apparently, the dungeon holds the key.
I am a summoner but that does not mean I can't fight. I can use magic, mostly electromancy and geomancy.
While I specialize in them, I can use other elements but I just prefer earth and electric magic.
I mean earth-element magic was pretty useful such as creating a temporary home, creating walls, etc.
I just need a spear and god-like powers and I will be Zhongli!
Side note: I once tried to summon a meteor. It worked but it made me pass out for two days. It was used to push back a dragon when I was in the far east.
"Guinness," I called out to my partner. He was a battle wolf. From the anime and manga Toriko. He was only around two years old but damn, he was big.
The same size as a car now and quite strong. He was lugging a monster carcass and eating it.
"I'm good," I said while showing him the fish stuck on several sticks I was cooking. But instead, the white wolf curled itself around the campfire.
Life was hard, lonely, and troublesome but at least, I have Guinness with me. He was just a pup the first time I summoned him. But now, he was bigger and stronger.
"I have to at least get to the dungeon and start my investigations there. It would take me a while but I have to get home or die trying."
Wait...
What the fuck is that?

A person was falling from the sky like Icarus when his wings melted.

"Guinness." I called to my partner, "Save them," I said and in a flash, a white streak soared through the night sky, catching the person mid-flight
A minute later, Guinness was back and he put the figure on the ground.
My life got a bit more complicated.
