Chapter One
Thranduil POV
Thranduil watched his son out of the corner of his eye as he discussed trade with one of his advisors. Currently Legolas was writing a paper for one of his tutors. Just by looking at Legolas you would not think that he had any problems in his life. That he was perfect with his golden long hair pulled back into braids that represented his status as Prince of Mirkwood and his emerald green eyes that always were shining.
But that had been over a week ago when Thranduil thought that he had made every step to make sure that Legolas was safe. He was wrong, as he thought back to that day where everything seemed to be normal.
Legolas POV
Legolas awoke up in his bed. Today he had archery lessons and he was practically bouncing off the walls with excitement. He got out of his bed and went into the washroom to get dressed. Then headed down to the Great hall for breakfast with two guards trailing his footsteps to make sure nothing happened to Legolas. This was King Thranduil orders and he knew his son needed the extra protection. The reason King Thranduil took these precautions are because Legolas did not have as accurate hearing as other elves had so somebody would have a better chance of sneaking up on him. Finally, Legolas arrived at the Great Hall for breakfast and saw that his father for once was actually there. He walked up to his father and gave him a hug and then took the seat right next to him. His two guards backed off into the corner. Legolas put a few things on his plate, such as fruit. He started to talk to his father about how he had archery lessons today and was actually enjoying being able to actually talk to his father when all of a sudden the Great Hall doors slammed open. Hundreds of Men burst into the room. All armed with weapons and their bow and arrows were pointed at the elves in the room. There was no hope to fight back. For one almost all the elves in the room were unarmed and they were severely outnumbered.
TBC
I know that was a terrible cliff hanger but I have to figure out what I will write next.
