A/N: This will be a compilation of short stories written for an awesome facebook group called The Fic Lab. Moderators choose a prompt (hashtags) and writers have a go. All of these are ideas from my vault with hopes of writing/expanding on them one day (preferably after I finish Mobward ;-) I know, I know.)
Review your favorite if it has potential to be the next full chap! Thanks.
This was a dream I once had.

Everyone came to see the meteor that struck at midnight. Excitement in the air. No one knew what it was. Couples held hands. Children stood by their mother's hips, jittery like their mother's insides.
The shiny vessel dug into the ground, a crater that scraped the land with a loud bang and whoosh. Eyes opened instantly, heads off their pillows, hearts a jolt if they lived close. Soon, the rest would wander into their kitchens, or turn on the local station, and know that something new came to visit.
Yellow Police tape couldn't keep them away. They watched in awe like a movie, playing in real time, as workers strained to dig it up.
"Back up, back up!" said the officer, but how could they? It was short of a miracle. A UFO? An alien inside? Which Avenger would come if Thanos himself climbed out? Tall tails. The most outrageous thoughts came to mind.
With a crack and a heavy, sluggish pull, machinery beeped and moved to open it. A bright, blinding light beamed out. Gasps of terror. Then a wave of silence.
There was nothing in it.
What they didn't know, it did bring something, and it was terrible. Chaos and war. The earth went against itself. Those mothers lost their young ones and others lost themselves. People fought to survive against all odds.
And there it sat, the shiny vessel, dug in the earth, ignored and forgotten between the trees.
Bella has been traveling long days to get to her grandparents house. With her house gone, and her mother with it, she has to find someone familiar. It's all she's got left. When she does find it, there's a hole burned out from the roof. Birds live there, not her family. It takes another two days to grieve over that fact. And when the suits with blazing guns comb the connecting towns she knows she has no choice but to move on.
Keep moving, don't stop, or you'll be caught.
She finds that old thing, protruding from the ground, and maybe she could hide there for a few days. With her backpack on and her only walking boots, she climbs into a small nook.
The vessel comes to life and traps her. Bella really feels terror now.
The milk ocean sways upon her arrival. The vessel floats after it beamed down from space and dove in. The white, silky waves crash over its shiny surface. Bella is just in for the ride, no way to escape. She tried. Inside there's nothing but jagged pebbles and rocks making the walls. She braced herself, scratching the palm of her hands and her knees.
When it shipwrecks, the vessel opens to a purple night sky. The sand of micro crystals, the lights far away are golden over columns and tall towers, all surrounded by pure greens. She sees another vessel like hers on the shore. It's far, but she witnesses when they're picked up and scanned. A pass to enter this island. What happens now? She doesn't have one. She doesn't want to know what happens if you don't have one. So, she runs.
What she won't foresee is how things will go. A new world set over diamonds and jewels on marble roads, ruled by status and majesty. A bounty hunter, with perfect, golden skin like Adonis, draped in ivory cloths, will be chosen to find her.
…
End.
