Ethan Chandler let out a shaky breath. Another night another blackout. At least he knows what he is now, but it still hurts. He shook as he undid the chains around his wrists. At least he knows that he didn't hurt anyone last night. He sighed as he looked around him. "Well, I think I should…" Ethan cut off when his sensitive hearing picked up a soft crying coming from upstairs in the mansion. He let out another shaky breath as he walked to the stairs.
His eyes grew wide when he got up the stairs and to the living room. There on the floor was a man about his age maybe a little older judging by his graying sandy brown hair. Next to him was a boy about sixteen. He had the same color hair as the man. The boy looked up to Ethan and wiped his eyes. Ethan saw that the boy had amber eyes. There was a large scar over his left eye. Tears were streaming down his face. At that moment he didn't look like a teenager. "Help…please he…he won't wake up. I don't know what…what happened," the boy said making Ethan get down to his level. The boy wasn't very tall.
"Ok, can you tell me your name?" Ethan said holding out his hand. The boy who Ethan realized was from London, but his voice was thicker than Victor's. the boy took a deep breath before he cleared his throat and said:
"My name is Edward Lupin, but you can call me Teddy if you like," Ethan nodded and smiled a little.
"I'm Ethan Chandler," he said taking the boy's hand. Edward smiled a little, but he didn't say anything as he let go of Ethan's hand. He nodded and looked down at his father who opened his eyes.
"Merlin," the man muttered. "Ted?" the man said standing up and staring at Ethan with wide eyes. He then looked down at his son and taped his nose. Edward nodded. "Hello," he said putting his hands behind his back. "I'm Remus Lupin. How long was I out?" Remus said holding out his hand. Ethan took it and thought for a moment.
"Well, I just got upstairs so I'm not sure. Ethan Chandler," Remus nodded and sat down on one of the couches. Edward sat down next to him. "Hod did you get in here?" Ethan asked sitting down as well.
"Well, um, I'm sure sir," Remus said looking around him. Ethan nodded and soon they all fell quiet.
Teddy wasn't worried but he knew that it was his fault that they are stuck here. Why did he open that…" Teddy?" Teddy cut off from his thoughts when he saw his dad looking at him.
"Yes?" Teddy answered looking at his dad who looked worried.
"Are you alright?" Remus asked taking a sip from the tea in his hand. Teddy nodded and sighed.
"I know how we ended here," Teddy said. He took a deep breath before he opened his mouth however, Ethan came back into the room cutting Teddy off.
