AN: Hello. I don't know why, but my mind keeps bubbling ideas. And this time, I'm writing for someone. This story idea is from Tumblr user princessquinnella. This is in a way a crossover with "Great Mouse Detective" and "Pixie Hollow", but since the fairies of Neverland are only mentioned and not shown, which why this doesn't count officially as crossover. In my opinion, that is. ^^;
So, I hope you enjoy this one.

Kensington gardens
It was a calm sunset before the first stars started to appear. As soon the sun went down and all the stars were up, including the second Star to the right, small little lights started to appear in Kensington garden.
They were fairies. Yes, you have heard of them. But these didn't appear from that land where the Pixie Hollow exists. They sure know them. These fairies lived on earth hiding from the humans and were in contact with the one from Pixie Hollow. In fact, one of them was from there and was supposed to return home tonight.
Quinnella, a Tinker fairy, has been visiting Queen fairy Mab, ruler of earth fairies. She has brown eyes and beautiful golden hair which came to her waist. She was wearing a lovely dress made of spring leaves, green shoes, an emerald heart-shaped locket, and a green hairband with a pink flower. As any Tinker fairy, Quinnella knew how to build and fix things. But her main talent was with metals and jewels. That was a bit rare since most of the talents are focused on helping change the seasons, but you could say ever since one fairy, Tinkerbell, who learned to use lost items for fixing and helping, a tinker with an unusual talent is something.
"Give my best regards to Queen Clarion and Lord Milori." Queen Mab said kindly.
"Yes, your Majesty." Quinnella said as she bowed gracefully. Other fairies were there to say goodbye and send greetings to fairies in Pixie Hollow.
Suddenly there was screaming in the distance. As they turned to look and see what was going on. There was a big cat with a lilac bow on its head. It chases on the fairies like any cat would chase a mouse. The fairies were in a panic, and some of them already went hide inside the hollow tree.
"Get me that crown!" a voice behind the cat ordered. The cat jumped over the flowerbeds running straight at Queen fairy Mab.
"Run, your Highness!" Quinnella shouted, while two fairy guards helped her to safety.
Quinnella tried to fly to safety as well but then noticed one of the flower fairies was stuck. Quinnella went to help her loose, but as soon as she helped her out, two big furry paws caught her while flower-fairy yelps in fear.
"GO!" Quinnella yelled to her. She didn't like the idea of cat food, but unlike any other fairy, she would come up with something. So as long as they were safe she could think of something to get free.
Then the cat held her down to the ground. Quinnella tries to get free, but cat paws hold down her legs and her wings.
"Well, well… what we have here." the voice behind the cat said amusingly before someone came down from the cat and walked to take a closer look.
Quinnella looks in fear at what's going to happen to her, with no idea her life was going to change forever.

Baker street
A month has already passed since the Queen's Jubilee case and the death of Professor Ratigan. The great mouse detective Basil of Baker Street has solved many cases so far with his new associate dr. David Q. Dawson and Elizabeth, Basil's niece. There is no doubt after rescuing the whole Mousedom and the queen from Ratigan, he has become more famous. However, things weren't as they used to be.
After the fight in Big Ben, Basil had now scars on his back that Ratigan did when went all "feral" if you could say so. Luckily they weren't too deep, but they sure remind him and his niece of that fateful night. He has already put down all the articles and anything else of Professor Ratigan away since he was gone… maybe.
Elizabeth however was more concerned about this. His body wasn't found anywhere. Police said it is possible that a cat ate him since Basil rang Ratigan's bell before he fell. But Elizabeth wasn't convinced about that. She tried that bell once and it didn't work on any other cat. This means it works with only one cat, his cat, Felicia. This is why without her uncle knowing, Elizabeth has started to do her own little investigation about Ratigan in her room. The reason she didn't tell her uncle was that she knew he would flip off and send her back to her parents. Well, only if they were in Britain since they mostly travel who knows where, which means the possible scenario is that she ends up with other relatives. Uncle Clifford would be a good option, but he depends on most of his time in his club of deep thinkers. Aunt Ann from her father's side is a good option too, but she is visiting friends in Ireland. The worst scenario is to stay with grandparents from her father's side. Sure she loved her grandpa Charles or Chuck as he allowed her to call him. Her grandmother, however, is one of those who want to raise her to be a "lady" and marry a wealthy mouse. Ugh! She hated it. The same goes for aunt Charlotte and her family. What comes to the rest of her mother's side, there is Aunt Bruna, but she lives in France. Mom's parents moved to Scotland. Oh well, those are the options, if uncle Basil finds her little investigation and sends her away.
But it turns out that her investigation was an important piece to the following events.
In the past week, there have been many jewel robberies and forgeries. First, the jewel shops are robbed, but then the bandits are captured and all the stolen items are returned. Too easy to be honest. However, just recently those jewels have turned out to be forgeries. Too well-made forgeries, actually. No one noticed a thing before one came to speak with Basil about a necklace and he confirmed it was a fake. After this, all the stolen jewels were recollected and they all turned out to be fakes too.
Basil was now examining the jewels in his lab.
"I have to admit, these are very well made." he said to Dawson who was reading the newspaper. "The materials are good quality, maybe even better. They're even better than the originals. But it's the tiny details that reveal them."
"You think the thieves changed the jewels?" Dawson asked.
"That could be. But, they are not clever and skilled enough to make all these jewels." Basil said.
"Then one of them must be working as a goldsmith." Dawson said.
"Not possible. All the best goldsmiths are known and do not need to prove themselves to rob every store including theirs." Basil said while examining one of the jewels by microscope. "Hello…."
"What did you find?" Dawson asks as he comes to look, just when Elizabeth came to get some tea.
"There's strange dust in the jewels." Basil said as he picked some aside. "I don't recognize it."
"Can you describe it?" Elizabeth asked.
"Hmm… yellow, maybe gold. Yet still…" Basil mumbles. He starts to check other jewels and the most recent jewels have it. "It seems these that were "stolen" from Mr. Jackson, have this same strange dust."
"Which means someone added it on purpose." Elizabeth figured.
"But why?" Dawson asked.
"I'm not sure yet." Basil said. "I need to examine these jewels more. It could be possible, whoever is doing these forgeries either is getting sloppy or asking for help."
"You mean like with Olivia and her father?" Elizabeth asked.
"Exactly!" Basil said. There's knocking on the door. "Oh, who is it now?" he asked annoyingly.
Elizabeth went to open the door and there were three young street boy mice.
"It's our Baker Street irregulars." Elizabeth informs. Just like Sherlock Holmes has street boys helping him sometimes, Basil had his own.
"Another robbery to the jewelry store?" Dawson.
"Not quite." One of them said. "There has been a robbery, but not in the jewelry store."
"Where?" Basil asked annoyingly. He is still in the middle of jewel forgery and there's already a different robbery.
"I'll go see it." Elizabeth said. "If there's any connection to your case, I'll let you know."
"Very well. But go with a disguise." Basil said. "And take a jacket with pockets for evidence and a handkerchief or gloves."
"I know."
"And you're not taking Toby!"
"Come on!" Elizabeth whines. "What if it's far? And what if we need to go after the thief?"
"I'm sure you and the boys can handle one thief."
"What if there is more than one?" Elizabeth pointed out.
"Then take a good look at one of them to recognize him."
"You just want to have Toby in case you have to go back to crime scenes." Elizabeth figured.
"Okay. Fine! Take the whistle just in case." Basil said.
As soon as Elizabeth disguised herself as a street boy and got her things she followed the street boys. "Which was robbed, Will?" She asked one of the street boys.
"That's the weird part." Will said. "Someone broke into the Toy store."
