Weeks have gone by since I've last seen you.Since I've last seen your emerald green eyes and shining brown hair.
I'm sitting on my bed, waiting for you to come,
Still waiting in the same place you left me days ago
Everyone says you're gone,
and you'll never come back.
I always scream 'no' and curl up and cry.
They're all lies, I know you're still alive,
Even though newpapers tell me otherwise.
I'm hugging my knees and staring off in space,
hearing people outside my room pace.
I'm still waiting for you my love,
I still haven't given up on you.
You'll come back from outer space, and I'll be here to welcome you.
I hear people open my bright white door,
and I turn around and stare at the people wearing bright white suits
They say 'We're taking you to your love,' and I smile happily.
They pick me up and carry me into the middle of my bare white room.
I ask them 'Can I take this off?' mentioning to my long sleeved sweater wrapped around my small body,
They shake their heads no.
They take my arm and inject something
All I feel is pain.
I look up at them with confused eyes.
All they say is 'Rest in Peace'
I close my eyes as tears slid down my cheeks.
It's true, you really are gone.
But I open my eyes as I realize that I'm going to see you again.
Wait for me love,
I'm coming.
We'll be together again.
This time,
forever.
