Disclaimer: I do not own Young Wizards or any of its characters, plots, etc. It all belongs to the magnificent Diane Duane. sniffle

And so it began
With the grief and the strife
When we were
Protecting all life

Each thing depends
Solely on us
There is no time
To cry or fuss

Today or tomorrow
We may die
We know the sacrifice
And inside we cry

For now and forever
We are set apart
Together we protect
And know all have a part

Every life is worth saving
In the fight
To delay entropy
And to bring everyone to the light

Nothing can stop death
With all of its might
However there is some hope
That life can take flight

Do you like it? It's my first try at poetry; I hope it isn't too bad. Well please review! Constructive criticism greatly appreciated.
