(Disclaimer: I do not own Transformers; just Dagny, Anwen, and any other OC's that I've added into the story.)
(Authors Note: Greetings dearest readers, fellow writers, and TF fans of every faction and genera! So, if you're new to my stories, welcome! If you've read or have been reading my other TF movie verse FF, Bleu Lambos, welcome to my latest creation! Now, if you haven't read Bleu Lambos, then some of the characters mentioned in this chapter/story will be unfamiliar to you. I just want to note that both of these stories are set in the same universe and in the same location, but they're different in their own unique ways. Now, I have been wanting to write another fan fic in this particular setting of mine, and was actually inspired to create this story after the main character, Dagny Stone, made her first appearance in chapter 46 of Bleu Lambos. Honestly, I kinda regret not introducing her sooner; however, the timing never felt right to me. Regardless, I hope you all will come to love her and I hope you'll also enjoy reading this story as much as I've been enjoying writing it. Thank you all so much for taking the time to view my latest creation. Feel free to drop a comment (no hate please) and stay tuned for chapter 2 of this story and chapter 47 of Bleu Lambos. Until next time, stay safe, stay sane, and stay awesome!)

Chapter 1
Upon finishing blow drying out her long, chocolate brown hair, Dagny Stone took a moment to glance at her reflection in the bathroom mirror. Standing at 5ft 9in and weighing 150lbs (68kg), she had a lovely pear-shaped figure, bright doe eyes, fair skin, multiple piercings, and a beautiful tattoo along her right thigh. It was a (realistic) semi side-portrait of a human skull that was surrounded by withered red roses, while vibrant stems of Atropa Belladonna (Deadly Nightshade) flowers and berries protruded from its gaping mouth. Seeing as how her tattoo was quite large in size and rather macabre in style, she usually wore leggings or knee-length skirts in order to maintain a more professional appearance while at work. Aside from the ink on her thigh, Dagny also had a tiny raven etched on the knuckle of her left middle finger, so that when she wanted or needed to flip someone off, she could literally give them 'the bird'. It was both funny and creative: hence why she loved it so much.
While she personally had nothing against body ink or piercings, she knew many employers saw them as unsightly or unprofessional in certain work environments. Her family's business was one of many that required their staff to maintain certain appearances for the general public. Of course, she understood their reasoning as it would seem rather odd for grieving patrons who are looking to make funeral arrangements to be assisted by someone that was covered in body ink and sporting an array of jewelry all over their face. Being the daughter of a funeral director and a mortician, Dagny was always told to look professional while among clients and during services. At least N.E.S.T. was a bit more lax in that sense; however, she still opted to follow some of her parents' rules when it came to her business wardrobe.
With that, the young brunette emitted a sigh and casually began to style her thick satin locks into an elegant updo before she suddenly heard the soft dingling of a little bell, which was then followed by a warm, furry body rubbing against her bare legs. Glancing down, Dagny was met with a familiar pair of bright yellow eyes as a beautiful black cat stared up at her, "Good morning, Morticia."
*meow* The feline continued to lovingly rub against her legs, signaling that she wanted her breakfast.
"I'll feed you in a minute, sweetie. Just let me finish styling my hair and then I'll fix your breakfast."
*MeeeOoowww* She cried out in protest as if to say: 'But I want it nooOoow.'
With a playful roll of her doe brown eyes, Dagny smiled and emitted a huff, "You just can't wait, can you?"
*meow*
Forgoing her current task, the young brunette stepped out of the bathroom and over to the small kitchen, where she retrieved a clear storage container of dry cat food from the cupboard and used a measuring cup to scoop out the desired amount.
Upon being served her breakfast, Morticia happily began to crunch on her kibbles and purr, to which Dagny affectionately petted her soft, ebony fur before placing the food back into its designated 'kitty cupboard'.
Afterwards, she slipped back into the bathroom to finish styling her hair, and while doing so, she squinted up at the wall clock and gasped when it read 0605. This meant she only had fifteen minutes left to get herself dressed and ready before the next bus arrived. "Well that's just marvelous," she groaned while inserting the last bobby pin into place.
Upon finishing her hair, the young brunette stepped into the adjacent bedroom and adorned her red-framed glasses, gold hoop earrings and matching cartilage studs, a surgical steel, gold and clear diamond barbell belly button ring stud, and a 2mm gold and clear diamond nose ring stud. Afterwards, she slipped on a pair of black panties, her black lace garter belt and thigh high stockings, and a black colored push-up bra.
With her jewelry and undergarments now on, Dagny then applied some deodorant under her arms and quickly sprayed some perfume on her neck and wrists before shuffling into her small walk-in closet and slipping into a red color, side bow tie neck, short-sleeve blouse, a black pencil skirt, and her black heels. Afterwards, she adorned her photo I.D. lanyard, grabbed her cellphone and tossed it into her crossbody shoulder bag, and retrieved her copy of Oscar Wilde's, Picture of Dorian Gray from her nightstand.
Turning off the bedroom light and stepping into the living room, Dagny then approached her feline companion and gently stroked her soft fur, "I'll see you later, Morticia. Be a good girl while I'm gone, okay?"
Said cat responded by lazily stretching herself out on the couch for her morning nap, to which the young brunette then grabbed her keys from the kitchen counter and exited her apartment with a confident smile across her face.

As the bus came to a stop outside the chow hall, Dagny stepped off and headed into the building where she momentarily slipped into the restroom to wash her hands before dishing up her breakfast and sitting down at the far corner table. Pulling out her book and opening it to the marked page, she then proceeded to read while she ate. To anyone passing by or sitting across from her, this was a common sight as she was rarely seen without a book in her hands during off hours.
While Dagny wasn't opposed to conversing with others, she wasn't really used to people paying her much attention as she tended to be rather aloof and soft spoken, unless provoked: then she was quite vocal and rather intimidating.

-0930-
As the computer screen reflected off her glasses and the keys clicked beneath her burgundy polished nails, Dangy suddenly had an uneasy feeling in the pit of her stomach: like something terrible was going to happen at some point later today. While she wasn't one to normally receive negative premonitions, she always tried to heed their warnings; however, this one wasn't very specific as to what exactly would occur.
Mentally shaking her head, the young brunette focused back on her current task and opened up another work-related email with a sigh: she detested emails because they mostly contained lists of menial complaints and requests. Granted, she had no problem answering them, but oftentimes it was the exact same people asking for the exact same things they had requested in their previous emails. 'You'd think they would've written the instructions down or have them memorized by now,' she mentally huffed as she quickly drafted up her response and sent it to the appropriate receiver.
Upon opening another email to read, review and reply to, Dagny couldn't help but notice Marcus Delaine walk by her cubicle with a semi-pissy look across his face, which caused her to mentally smirk. She knew he likely got turned down (again) by Anwen Bleu, or that Maggie had told him off for something inappropriate he said. Regardless, he deserved to be knocked down a peg or two as he was quite an annoying prick. In truth, he actually reminded her of some of the guys she went to high school and college with. At that, the young brunette lightly shuddered and shook her head before returning to her current task.

"Hey Dagny, we need a couple of signatures on these forums. Do you think you could get Prowl to sign them before noon," a coworker by the name of Polly Fisk, approached and asked, to which the young brunette gave her a nod:
"Shouldn't be too much of a problem. I'll take them over to his office and get that done right away."
"Thank you so much."
"Sure thing." With that, she stood up from her cubicle with the manilla folders in hand and made her way through the office and out the door, to which she then walked down the massive hallway leading to her superiors office(s).
Upon reaching the SIC and TIC's shared office, Dagny spotted a sticky note posted on the adjacent human-sized door, which read: We've gone to the Med Bay and won't be back until later this afternoon. Call our contact numbers for any questions or stop by the medical facility for in-person discussions. Apologies for the inconvenience.
With a sigh, the young brunette turned around and walked through the main hangar before stepping outside and heading over to the medical building where she would hopefully find the Autobot SIC.

After several tiring minutes of walking in heels, Dagny finally reached her destination. As she entered the Med Bay, she was greeted by the familiar sight of several holoforms. "Oh, sorry, am I interrupting something?"
"Not at all, Miss Stone," Ratchet answered with a slight shake of his head. "My fellow Autobots and I are merely testing out the new upgrades to our holoforms. Until recently, we've been unable to consume and ingest solid organic materials while using our false bodies, but now, that issue has been resolved. At the moment, Moonracer and I are monitoring our fellow Autobots for any signs of adverse reactions to the various grains, produce, dairy products and meat substitutes."
"Ah, so that explains the a la carte brunch gathering. But jokes aside, I will admit that it's kinda strange to see you all using your holoforms at the same time. Not that they're strange; I just mean that I'm not used to seeing you all together like this," she noted with a shy smile as they all regarded her comment with amused expressions and soft chuckles…Well, all except Sunstreaker: his expression was neither friendly nor hostile, but rather, neutral. In truth, he could care less if she was present or not.
"So, what brings you to the Med Bay, Signorina Pietra (Miss Stone)," Mirage curiously asked before taking a bite of an apple.
"Actually, I'm here because I need Prowl's signature on these forums," she gestured to the folders in her possession, to which the SIC stood up from his seat and approached:
"Thank you for delivering them, Miss Stone. Now, if you'll permit me, I'd like to read over them before I sign. It's nothing personal; just my standard procedure."
"Of course. I completely understand wanting to read over the contents before signing anything," she agreed and handed him the folders, to which he graciously accepted with a curt nod.

Once Prowl returned the (signed) forums, Dagny left the medical facility with Mirage as her escort. He insisted that her footwear was not ideal for walking and opted to drive her instead. Of course, she had originally declined, but being the gentlemech that he was, he simply wouldn't allow her to inflict more unnecessary discomfort upon herself. In the end, she saw reason in his argument, and agreed to let him drive her back to the office.
As they casually rolled along, his voice sounded through the speakers and asked, :So, will you be visiting your famiglia (family) during the holidays? I understand most of your fellow umami (humans) will be departing the island to spend time with their relatives.:
At his question, she emitted a sigh, "I honestly don't know if I'm going or not. I mean, I want to, but I don't want to…you know what I mean?"
:Unfortunately, I do not. Please explain.:
"Well, my family is rather complicated. Most of them are nice, but some of them like to start drama and honestly, it's a bit overwhelming at times."
:Ah, my condolences then.:
She waved it off and shook her head, "It's fine. I'm just at a stalemate on what to do for the holidays: Do I suck it up and prepare myself for the drama that is likely to unfold? Or do I stay here?"
:Well, you've got less than two weeks to decide,: he noted with a smile in his voice, to which she emitted a soft groan:
"I know." She sighed and leaned back in the seat as he approached the hangar.
Upon entering the massive building and pulling up outside the office where she worked, Mirage opened his passenger door for the young brunette, to which she unbuckled the seatbelt and stepped out of his alternate form with the folders in hand. "Thanks for escorting me."
:It was my pleasure, Signorina Pietra (Miss Stone),: he replied in a velvet tone. :Don't hesitate to call me up if you need my services again.:
Even though he was in his vehicle form, she could tell he was winking at her, to which she curtly nodded and gave him a smile. "I'll keep that in mind. Again, thanks for the ride."
:My pleasure.:
(Another Authors Note: Hello again! I hope you all enjoyed this first chapter because I'm literally getting started with this story and have more ideas to add. You may be wondering why Barricade isn't in the story yet, but rest assured that he'll make his debut soon. I don't want to just jump into things right away, so have a little patience because there's a method to my madness :D Anyways, thanks again for taking the time to read my new story and I hope you'll stick around for more content :) Stay awesome!)
