Chapter 5 – Introductions

The next day Harry was suddenly, and rudely awoken by a redhead bouncing on his bed. "Gin, its too early. Go pester Ron or something" he mumbled. as soon as he said this there was a snort of laughter from the doorway, now wide awake he saw that the redhead on his bed was in fact Willow, and she was looking at him with a very strange expression on her face, behind her, Harry saw Bill standing in the doorway. "Time to get up slayboy" said the eldest Weasley "We're off to meet with the real watcher to plan stuff and collaborate"

Once Bill had left Willow asked "Who's Gin?"

"Ginny is my best friend Ron's and Bill's younger sister." answered Harry

After a fairly speedy breakfast, Willow called her two best friends and they made arrangements to meet at Sunnydale High. Just before leaving Bill said "We want to keep you as well hidden as possible, so we are going to give you a charmed amulet whilst you are in Sunnydale. Only those who know the truth will see you as Harry Potter. To the rest of Sunnydale, and any other visitors, you will be Willow's English cousin Harry Evans to the majority of Sunnydale."

As Bill gave Harry the amulet, Harry felt a strange sensation wash over him, not unlike the disillusionment charm from the year before.

As the Trio neared the school Willow said "Watch out for Snyder. He Hates me and Xander cos we Hang with Buffy, so you will probably join that privileged group soon."

"Great, another Snape!" said Harry

"Snape?" asked Willow

"Greasy Git of a teacher from Hogwarts. i'll explain later" explained Harry.

30 minutes later Harry met Willow, and the rest of the Scoobies in the Library. As soon as she saw Harry enter Buffy called "Hey Giles, Harry's here" and then looking at Harry she said "Giles is my watcher. Anyway so how did the meeting with the evil Snyder monster go?"

"Did Bill explain about Snape yet?" asked Harry. When he saw the combination of nods and Shudders from around the table, Harry continued "Just like Snape and worse. As soon as he heard my name, he decided he hated because of my family, and probable future friends."

Before Harry could get any further Xander interrupted and said, "Erase the probable from that sentence. After what Bill's just told us, you are now part of the Scooby gang as part of the newly formed British Branch, along with your friends over there."

Just then, another two people joined the teenagers at the table; the two watchers. "We have both been studying the book that Miss Granger found, and it is extremely fascinating" said Giles "It covers Magic's that only a slayer can do, using the core of magic that gives her" here there was a polite cough from Harry, and the watcher blushed "Sorry, he or she their power, regardless of wizarding abilities".

"What sort of magic" asked Willow, intrigued

"Mostly defensive/offensive spells" said Bill

"Buffy, Bill will start teaching you some of the more basic spells to give you a grounding in magic" said Giles

"Harry, I would like you to come to these sessions, to learn the slayer magic's and to help Buffy. After last year

you should have no problem there." added Bill "First, however we need to get you up to speed on the physical side" continued the redheaded watcher, and with a wave of his wand, another door appeared next to the cage.

With a glance Harry recognised the door easily; it lead to the room of requirement.

"You know how to use it, Harry" said Bill, as he saw recognition flicker over his face.

After walking back and forth in front of the door several times, Harry then opened it and beckoned the small group through, into a Japanese Dojo. Off to one side, through a small arch there was a rack of wooden swords. next to that there was a whole range of VERY lethal looking weaponry. As the

two slayers took the contents of the room in, Buffy said "What the hell were you thinking of to get this really cool stuff?"

"I wanted a decent room for a couple of slayers to train in, with plenty of weapons for patrolling with" said Harry "Think its good enough?" he asked

"Duh" said the blonde slayer, holding a strange looking crossbow bolt. it was partly glass, that was filled with a blue liquid, and there was a needle on the end. "Any idea what this is, or does?" she asked

Harry picked up a slip of paper that had been sitting under the strange looking bolt and read "This is filled with an anti-coagulant. combine with vampire blood for explosive effects". After thinking for a moment, Harry said "Load the bolt into a crossbow, we'll have a target in a moment"

Just as Buffy finished loading the crossbow, there was a familiar flash of movement. As she spun, in what was obviously a shielded corner of the room, there was a Vampire, in full game face. Instantly she fired, and just as quickly the Vamp expanded and then exploded.

"Useful, and Disgusting" commented Willow.

Once the slayers reached the wooden swords, Buffy said "Huh. Training weapons".

Harry grinned "Nope, look at how sharp they are. What would that do to a Vampire if you ran him through."

"You'd be hooverin him up" called Xander

Whilst the other Scoobies were bantering/drooling over the new weaponry, Harry had noticed a very familiar sword amongst all the others. It was the sword of Gryffindor. As Harry took the sword, a voice that was not his own spoke through him.

"In the eighth month, the flame haired one will rise"

"In the ninth month, she will join the lightning child"

"The line will continue"

The moment Harry stopped speaking, his body went limp and he fell to the ground. Slowly all faded to black.

Consciousness flooded back to Harry, and as he became aware of his surroundings
