When You Walk In

Disclaimer: I don't own the characters or AJ's legs (and it would be a
hard choice if I had to choose between the two.)
A/N: Just a little idea that came to mind while listening to Lonestar.
"Toby, what did you first notice about me?" CJ said from behind her desk.
Toby just looked up at his friend and smiled. He was sitting on the couch in her office reading the paper, avoiding work of his own.
"What do you mean?" he asked, partly intrigued and partly annoyed.
"I mean what did you first notice about me," she answered. "It's not a hard question. Think back fifteen years ago, when you first saw me, what did you think?" she asked.
"CJ, I don't know..." he replied, still not answering her question.
"Toby?" she said, her eyes imploring him to be serious and to answer her question.
"Your legs," he said in barely a whisper.
"What?" she asked.
"I noticed your legs. You were walking down the hall with legs up to your neck in that red dress," he said looking up at her.
"That's what I thought. I just wanted to hear you say it," she answered smiling.
"You like toying with me," he said.
"Yeah, it's one of the great joys in my life," she said, picking up her pen and going back to the papers she had been editing.
Toby folded his paper and stood up and headed for the door.
Without turning around he said, "And your legs have always been one of mine."
