Chapter 1 The Beginning
"Ash... can you hear me... wake up..." Ash groans a little as he opens his eyes, when he opens his eyes, he sees a white-haired girl standing in front of him. The girl is sighing in relief and she says, "Thank goodness you're awake."
Ash holds his head and asks, "I feel like I just have a long dream... how long was I asleep? Alice?"
Alice sighs, "You've been sleeping for 8 months. Everyone has been worried about you."
"More like I've lived 8 years because of it." Ash remembers that a month ago, the island that they're living in, Sevestar Island, was attacked by Team Rocket. Ash has the power of Aura and by using all of his energy, he manages to destroy the ship in the end. However, with the overuse of Aura, Ash falls into a coma.
Aurora Ketchum, the mother of Ash Ketchum and the head of the Pokemon League Association and the International Police, manages to find a doctor named Fennel, she assumes that Ash was trapped inside some sort of dream, and the only way for Ash to wake up is to go into his dream and find him. This is when Alice Glace volunteers to enter his dream and bring Ash out of there.
Alice Glace is Ash's girlfriend, her parents were killed by Team Rocket grunts and she was kidnapped. Ash is the one who saved her from the grunts and they killed them together. Since then, Alice has been living with Ash and they are both training to become the Pokemon Masters, they have been inseparable during the journeys and all of their friends that they met on the way keep teasing them as the Sevestar Couple. But they don't mind as long as they are happy with it.
In the dream, Ash was a 10-year-old child, and he got Pikachu as a Starter Pokemon from Professor Oak. Then he started his journey throughout the regions, challenging the gyms, and even saving Legendary Pokemon from evil teams. Alice also tries to enter the dream 8 times for trying to get Ash back, and thus she uses 8 different characters to join him each for almost a month since Alice has to repair herself for some time before entering again.
In the first two attempts, Alice gets close to Ash by becoming his Pokemon: Pidgeot and Bayleef. She admits that the Pokeball in his dream world is comfortable, maybe except for Pikachu. And then starting from Hoenn, she starts to try becoming different female characters, there is May, Dawn, Iris, Serena, Lillie, and then Chloe. She can only go in the flow of Ash's dream, so sometimes Ash gives her a family, or she could see the past characters that she used interacting with her as if they have their own free will. However, it is until the final attempt by Chloe that she manages to open Ash's heart and make him realize everything is just a dream and everyone in the real world is waiting for him.
"You were always by my side, didn't you, Alice?" Ash asks. "It was not just as Chloe... For some reason, I could sense you in every region, no matter how far or how close you are..."
"You're right, I tried out a lot of new characters in your dream, the first two attempts were a complete failure because Dr. Fennel made me your Pokemon in your dream, and the other 5 attempts were just me forgetting my mission to bring you back and the fact I was so into my character." Alice sighs.
"I'm sorry... my mom was probably disappointed with you, right?" Ash frowns.
"On the contrary, I made up with her by telling her the stories inside of your mind. Even though it was all of your imagination, we did travel together and have some fun. I regret nothing about it." Alice says.
"Really..." Ash asks.
"Ash! Alice!" Just then, Aurora rushes into the castle and hugs both of them. "Ash... you're finally awake this time..."
"I'm sorry Mom. I made you worry..." Ash apologizes.
"It's fine, I'm glad that Alice tells me all of the journeys you have in your mind." Aurora says with a smile. "And I'm glad that Alice bring you out this time. So how was your Galar journey in your mind?"
Ash says, "I didn't travel around the Galar Region...instead, I was back at Kanto being a lab assistant, but I did attend the World Championships and battled against some champions."
"Oh? That's an interesting story." Aurora says, "I wonder why did you do that?"
Alice says, "You know, I want to ask the same question as well."
"Well, after the Kalos journey, I thought that everything was going the same, and I just wanted to have something different. That's why when I was in Alola, I joined the Pokemon Trainer's School with all of the Trial Captains as my classmates, and then in Galar I become a Lab assistant and also taking part in something like the World Championships."
Aurora nods and says, "Anyway, I still have some work to do, so I'll just leave you two here and make sure that you greet your Pokemon."
"We will." Ash and Alice nod as Aurora leaves. Alice decides to body slam Ash as she is on top of him. Ash groans with a slight chuckle and a faint blush. "Alice? What are you doing?"
"Just want to be on top of you." Alice says, "I often do that to you as a Bayleef in my second attempt."
"That's because I didn't know you were a Pokemon at that time." Ash sighs as Alice gets up and pouts.
Alice says, "But I must say that your imaginations are interesting. May, Dawn, and Serena? When I looked into the mirror, I always thought I had become Sapphire, Platinum, or Y."
"But you acted differently from them as well. You didn't act very wild like Sapphire, or some sort of princess-like Platinum, or someone as hotheaded as Y." Ash says. "Not to mention you also decided to act like Iris and Lillie, and you also act a lot differently like them."
"Yeah... I tried to act like I was afraid of touching Pokemon, and you decided to let Gladion tell you that the Ultra Beasts were the reason why I couldn't touch them. And Chloe, I never knew you made me a school student, not that I don't mind about it." Alice says, "But about those Team Rocket members, I mean Jessie, James, and Meowth. What were you thinking when you created those three?"
"I don't know... maybe it was just my way to vent my frustration to Team Rocket." Ash shrugs. "I mean, they have been the ones who made me in that state, it is not just Team Rocket, I think I might have weakened them a lot in my dreams."
"But you do realize that you destroyed all the Evil teams with our friends back when we were traveling together, right?" Alice asks. "Though I was shocked that you spared Maxie from being absorbed by the Red Orb and you let Pikachu be absorbed instead. And not to mention N, in your memory, you gave him the chance to explore the world when we first met him."
"I was just thinking about what would happen if they were not they used to be..." Ash says.
"Though I want to apologize to you..." Ash frowns. "I never realized you're always by my side... I forgot all about you, that's why you have to become a different person or Pokemon to get close to me... and I'm sorry..."
"It's fine, Ash. The time that we spent together is worth it." Alice says with a smile. "Especially the last three: Serena, Lillie, and Chloe. I sometimes feel like I have become that very own person and it looks like some sort of novel that I read in the past. Something about if love has different meanings."
"I see... don't you find it weird? I mean, when you're Chloe, you just met those who you used to be as my dream imagination..." Ash asks.
"Not at all, in fact, I'm glad to know how the characters that I developed impact you." Alice smiles. "Even though the imaginary world is great, but you have to remember that the world we're living in is also great as well."
After chatting for a short while, they decide to head downstairs and head to the ranch. In the ranch, all of the Pokemon are there, including the Legendary Pokemon, Mythical Pokemon, and the Ultra Beasts. All of them are happy to see Ash and Alice waking up.
"I'm glad to see all of you guys again." Ash says with a laugh as some Pokemon, like Raichu and Charizard, hug them.
Arceus comes and says, "I'm glad that you two are awake, everyone in the ranch has been concerned about you."
"I'm sorry..." Ash frowns a little. "I didn't expect Team Rocket to attack..."
"Cresselia has been telling us all about your dream." Mewtwo says. "Though I want to know what you mean when you make me a villain who tries to take your Pokemon and copy them?"
"About that, I am not sure how would I dream about that..." Ash says.
"However, you did give us a lot of interesting new things in your dreams. The Bond Phenomenon with your Greninja, the Dusk Form Lycanroc, and even a Z move made for your Pikachu... Mew was pretty excited to create all of these new things."
"Wait, so you really create them? For real?" Alice asks with surprise.
Greninja steps forward and looks at Ash, Ash raises his hand and much to everyone's surprise, Greninja is now transforming into Ash-Greninja.
"This is amazing..." Ash says in awe. "I can't believe you've done it..."
And then, a Dusk Form Lycanroc charge at Ash and nuzzles him. Alice says, "This Lycanroc..."
"Your Midday form Lycanroc and the Midnight form Lycanroc have a son now." Arceus says as the two Lycanroc are watching over them with smiles. "Mew changed his ability into Own Tempo so that it could evolve into the Dusk Form."
"So that's how it works..." Ash says.
Both Raichu and Alolan Raichu also show their daughter Pikachu as Alice says, "Even you two have a daughter, congratulations."
Tapu Koko then comes and gives Ash the Pikashium Z, and Ash says, "So I can also use this with Pikachu... that's great to know."
"We couldn't have done it if Cresselia didn't show us the dream." Arceus says.
"Thank you so much, and I'm really sorry for all the things that happened 8 months ago." Ash frowns.
"Since you're awake, maybe we could also try to contact all of our friends about it." Alice suggests.
"That's a good idea. How about we do it tomorrow? Since it is already nighttime..." Ash says while looking up at the sky.
"Yeah... though after a long sleep, do you think we can just stay up all night long?" Alice asks.
"Maybe." Ash smiles as they head back inside the house.
Welcome to Ash's Special Adventures. This story is a story where Ash and Alice are born in the Pokemon Manga World instead of the Anime World. And the Anime World is just Ash's imagination when he's in a coma. This story will be about interactions with the Pokedex Holders and telling the stories about the difference between Manga and Anime, as well as the games. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will be the history of Ash and Alice's journeys.
