A Game of Dragons and Apes
CHAPTER 1:
The cosmos are infinitely vast and much is unknown about it. There is a tell as old as anyone knows which is a tale of myths and birth a legend. The people of the cosmos believe the universe the be a sentient being despite not having the power to influence much of it;s inhabitants such as being able to produce a legend the likes of which has not been seen, now allow me to tell you a tale about that such legend and how it got its start.
Contrary to popular the saiyans are not barbarians like the planets would have known although they are fight-loving people but that all changed when the coup of the saiyans happened, it was revolt buried in history led by power a power hungry family dissatisfied with the status quo of the saiyans although much of this history if buried this something Bardock would never be able to forget why you ask when because the coup was orchestrated by the lineage of the current rulers of planet vegeta to overthrow his very own forefathers which was successful might he had. Ever since then his lineage has sworn to do everything in their power to return the honor of the saiyans race, which would have been easier to do if all he had to do was worry about the idiot king vegeta but alas eversense the saiyans have agreed to serve frieza the road to restoring the honor of the saiyans has just gotten astronomically longer, but one stereotype about the the saiyan bunch that was true was that they are a stubborn bunch so he was not going to give up. He would slowly bid his time and wat for the opportune time to strike.
"Man this mission got me really sore those damn levotains really getting tougher" has bardock has just landed back from his mission on planet levotia quelling a rebellion against frieza ruler of the 7 galaxies which frieza intends to increase the number of those galaxies. Bardock begin to make his was the the child nursery of the saiyans to visit his firstborn and see his status.
"Wonder what the little tyke even looks like maybe i shouldn't get my hopes up the reason its taken my forefathers so long the restore the honor of the saiyan people because my lineage has not had the best luck producing powerful warriors with the drive to gain strength and when we do their either too dimwitted or don't care about bringing honor to their own people."
Bardock make his way to the nursery "alright raditz where are you, you little brat", as bardock search and looks through the kids he is unimpressed by the power level of the kids he sees"hopefully for their sakes they shape up else they'll be be sent off world ". As Bardock searches and finally finds the little pod in which raditz is in " huh he doesn't look so bad maybe he''l grow up to be quite the looker like me, now let's see your power level kid hopefully it's at a decent level where you'll be able to live a easier life what ever that is for a saiyan."
As Bardock goes to check the power level of his child thinking he would be a low class saiyan or at most a mid class "wh- what, how can this be possible my blood has never produced a warrior like this before. The reading on Bardock's scouter was 3,500 power level.
