Here is a story that can't get out of my head. The reason I'm absent is because I'm very busy with school, have assignments to hand in, so I can't work on the big chapters of my story.
Since it is the prologue, the chapter is quite small. The next ones will be bigger.
Stay with the story!
Chapter 1 - Prologue - The Last Fate
He who wielded his own death
What was a big beautiful green hill had become a horrible landscape because of the battles that had taken place on it. Bodies soaked in blood were everywhere. A totally macabre landscape. No matter where you looked, all you would see were broken bodies and shrapnel everywhere.
Like a guardian the world I balanced.
But I lost count of how many I killed.
It was in vain.
What I am left with are only regrets.
My hands are full of blood.
What is the use of saving one person for another to die in his place?
What is the use of being able to save several people, but not being able to save the person I love?
In the midst of all this chaos one man had these thoughts.
A man with short white hair and gray eyes. He wears a sleeveless black breastplate made of a material unknown to mankind, black pants with straps around the thighs and shins, black shoes plated with metal, and a red overcoat, which is a mystical code.
His "battle robes" were in a very bad state.
On his neck it was possible to see a kind of necklace with a white chain, and in the center was what appeared to be a miniature sword.
"It seems I was not able to keep our promise..." His voice came out tired and full of regrets.
In the end, he was not able to save even the life of his own Master.
The man slowly moved his hand to his necklace, turned it over and looked at the miniature sword with distant eyes. This necklace had been given to him by Arthuria. This necklace was unique in the world.
"Looks like he was right after all. I'm just a False Hero..." new ramblings.
Someone unable to save the person he loves does not deserve to be called a hero.
He could feel his existence slowly beginning to fade.
Closing his eyes, he began to speak.
"It wasn't supposed to be like this..."
His legs slowly began to fade into blue particles.
"If only I had remembered earlier... if I... only I was stronger..."
His arms also began to disappear into blue particles.
"...It doesn't matter if it's in the other world," he muttered as he felt his existence fade faster and faster. "If I can avoid following the same fate and be with her again...
"That will be enough for me."
As his eyes were closed, the man could not see his necklace emitting an almost imperceptible glow, and the necklace began to absorb some blue particles that were from his body, seconds later the necklace disappeared completely.
Before the man disappeared completely he heard a voice.
"Good luck, Archer."
The figure watched the Heroic Spirit's body disappear completely. After a while the figure began to disappear.
Although the Grail receptacle was destroyed, its essence remained, allowing one last wish to be fulfilled.
Like most of those who won the Grail War, many of them chose to return to a time in their past so they could redo everything in a better way.
However, there was a big downside to all of this.
The memories they had as Heroic Spirits would disappear.
So... even if they could go back to the past.
They were bound to follow a certain course that was impossible to change in their lives.
Or so he thought.
What he didn't know was that the man's grudge with his life was so great that he would be able to travel between worlds, dimensions, and even between the future and the past.
Even if he was unable to remember, he would not follow the same fate.
...
Darkness.
It was all that could be seen except for one particular place.
Some kind of giant black plate was visible because of several blue glows.
Moving closer to this "Plate" it was possible to see endless blue destination lines.
These lines represented the various destinations of different timelines from different worlds. Some of these lines went on until a certain point where they stopped moving, and soon after, the lines disappeared into thousands of blue particles indicating the end of that destination.
However, something surreal happened.
All the lines stopped moving at the same time. Seconds later, another unexpected event happened.
All the lines broke into thousands of blue particles, causing the dark place to light up with blue lights for a brief moment. Seconds later the place was completely taken over by total darkness.
And in the midst of this darkness...
A small blue flame lit at the beginning of the 'giant plate'.
The Last Fate was about to begin.
What did you think of the prologue?
This little ending was inspired by Rewrite (Visual Novel) and the anime. If you have consumed either you will notice.
Orario will be the scene of a war far greater than any we have seen, with even some gods among the Masters. Some rules will be different.
If you are asking about which Archer model I am using, it is a mix between the UBW and an Original that I created.
Who is the Master of Archer that he was not able to save?
As the story progresses expect some things to be explained little by little.
I also plan to work with Gilgamesh in a... different? I think that would be the word. The personality will not be changed, so don't worry about that.
This story will be just a couple, no harem.
It will be Archer/Emiya/Bell(In case you didn't get it, you will in the future) X Saber/Arthuria Pendragon.
In this story I want to portray a lot in how Bell's "specific choices" will affect the world. I wanted to do a Visual Novel type of play. For example, if the protagonist makes a choice that will change Fate drastically, something like "A Great Change of Fate has been made" will appear. Kind of like the butterfly effect.
Of course, I will describe the choices in a slightly different way.
Most fights between Masters and Servants should take place in the Dungeon, but there are some exceptions. Let's say that not everyone will follow the rules of the Holy Grail War...
Anyway, that's it. Let me know what you think of this new story.
