Chapter 1: Jigen & Goemon Go Missing
It was a dark & stormy night in Mira Loma, California. Candice & her friends, Avery & Chelsea, were sitting in a circle on their slumber bags. Chelsea's Lupe, Icefox, lay next to her owner. It was Saturday, the day for sleepovers. They were telling stories. Candice's mom, who transformed herself into a Yellow Lupe, lay on the Lupe Pet Bed in the corner of the room. The house was 3 miles away from the nearest store. They were able to protect themselves, though.
Outside, Lupin & Fujiko waited about 100 yds. away from the house. Their plan: Jigen & Goemon get in, get the Fire Gem that they are looking for, & get out.
Jigen & Goemon were already by the basement window. After they had snuck into the house through the basement window, which had been carelessly unlocked. When they got in, however, someone, or something, locked it from the outside. It was dark. Very dark. They were both knocked out by something (which you shall learn about later). They didn't know what hit 'em.
Eventually, Fujiko got tired of waiting. Taking advantage of Lupin's love for her, she convinced him to leave his 2 friends there. She knew that she wasn't going to go to prison just for something Jigen & Goemon did wrong.
That's what started this trilogy. And what a strange one it was.
