Hello everyone! Yes, I'm back again with this story because I wasn't very happy with the first one. But I'm definitely gonna take my time with this one and hopefully post them all at once or one by one, I'm not to sure yet. This is the sequel to Him & I and there's going to be a lot more involvement in the gang's life and how something could effect them outside of their working space. The story is going to be placed outside the office a lot more and for a good reason.

I hope you all I enjoy this book just as much as I will writing it :)

Enjoy Not Alone.

Logan lowered his glasses as he walked outside towards the pool chair next to Carlos. Two bottles of Corona in hand, he passed one to Carlos and watched their husbands swimming in the pool, passing a blunt between each other. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon, music was playing softly on the speaker and a light breeze was passing by.

Logan watched as Kendall smiled brightly at James, the sudden warm feeling in his chest wasn't only because the sunlight hitting it. Even after 14 years, he still fell to the sight of him. Grew butterflies when he looked into his eyes and giggled when he would playfully flirt with him and don't get him started when they're in bed. It's a crave that Logan has and will always be there.

"Our husbands are so hot.. how did we get them again?", Carlos asked genuinely.

"We were crazy enough to stay..", Logan chuckled.

Carlos shrugged. "But I don't regret saying yes to him. I never thought at 22, I would be living a life like this. I think he would be pretty happy that I chose James.", Carlos said.

Logan was a little shocked by his statement. "But I thought you hated that he was in this life? You almost broke up with him because of it.", Logan stated.

"It wasn't because of his career, it was because he lied about it for 3 years. But now I'm here, and I will always pick him first..", Carlos cooed, looking back at his husband, James sending a wink towards him. Soon disrupted by Kendall sinking James' head, grabbing the blunt before it went under with him, a loud pour of laughter came out of Kendall's mouth, James rising back with a pissed look on his face.

"It is so weird how much we love these idiots.", Logan chuckled, Carlos following after him.

Carlos sighed happily. "Yeah-- but I'm gonna find a new reason not to if he doesn't share that blunt..", Carlos said, looking back out. "Can we hit it next babe?!", he yelled out, James and Kendall looked over with a smile.

"I rolled one for you guys, it's on the table!", Kendall yelled back out, pointing towards the table next to Logan, James splashed a bit of water on Kendall, making Kendall squeal and hold his hand over the blunt. "Aye! Watch the blunt man!", he shouted, making both Kendall and James laugh.

Logan smiled, looking down to see a Dutch rolled neatly next to him, along with the lighter they probably used.

"Thank you baby!", Logan yelled out.

Kendall blew a kiss before talking back to James.

"Does he always do that for you?", Carlos asked his best friend.

"Yep. Every time he smokes, he rolls me my own so we can smoke together.", Logan smirked, lighting the blunt, inhaling the pulling it off his lips.

Logan always appreciated the little things Kendall did for him. And as strange as it looked, Kendall has always known how much Logan loves when he rolls him a blunt. It's a continuous remind to Logan that Kendall constantly thinks about him before himself. They were fully connected, a bond that's become one of the smaller reasons they've been together for so long.

Logan took a moment to speak, he chewed his lip at the idea of mentioning his thoughts to his best friend. But he knew that if he could talk to anyone about his inner thoughts, it would be Carlos.

Logan takes another hit. "You think they can hear us from here?", Logan asks, looking out to see Kendall and James laughing about something James said, passing the blunt over.

"No and I doubt they would the way they're laughing over there.", Carlos smirked, Logan then passing the blunt to him.

"Okay, so what if I told you, you might become an uncle really soon?", Logan grinned, his voice giddy.

Carlos gasped, looking at his best friend. "Are you guys having a baby?!", he said excitedly, Logan shushed him quietly.

"Not yet! It's just been something that I've been thinking about. It's been 14 years Carlos, I really want to start a family with him.", Logan said sweetly.

Carlos cooed. "Well, have you talked about it with him yet?", Carlos said, taking another hit before passing it over to Logan.

"No, but I was thinking about this conversation for a few weeks now..", Logan revealed.

"Are you afraid to ask him about having kids with you?", Carlos said curiously, Logan let out a sad sigh. "Logan, Kendall loves you. He literally would do anything for you, do you not remember what happened two years ago?", Carlos asked.

Of course, Logan remembered what happened. Even as long as it has been, he still is reminded of that nightmarish night with the scars that sit on his waist from the shock burns. Logan is forever in Kendall's debt for doing what he feared to do for him and only him.

"And that means he would love to start a family with you. I think having a little Kendall and Logan around would be perfect for you guys.", Carlos hummed, taking a sip of his Corona.

Logan took a hit of his blunt, looking back at his husband who was hanging over the edge in the pool, still talking to James. A smile grew on Kendall's face, that familiar smile that Logan could never get enough of. He was obviously happy with his husband, alone with him or not, but in the back of his mind, Logan thought of having the little pattering of feet and small giggles wake both of them up in the morning. He soon started to dream about it. Him and his husband holding the hands of their kids as they swung them back and forth, smiling at the beautiful life they were given. Logan would wake up with tears of joy which he had to wipe away quickly before Kendall would see them.

James suddenly jumped out of the pool, along came Kendall their bodies wet and glistening under the sun. "Hey babe, I was thinking that we could have a dinner tonight, you know like old times.", James huffed out.

Carlos smiled, shrugging softly. "Well I don't see why not? I was in the mood for your homemade burgers anyway.", Carlos said, leaning back against the chair.

"At least I found a reason to use my new grill.", James smiled, Carlos rolling his eyes with a grin.

"New grill?", Logan asked, lifting his glasses up.

"Yeah his fifteen hundred dollar grill that he got last week.", Carlos said, crossing his arms.

Kendall and Logan looked up at him in shock.

"You stare at me like I'm crazy but come look at it dude.", James skipped excitedly, calling Kendall over with him. Kendall took a moment stepping towards Logan and kissing him softly.

"You're all wet.", Logan giggled.

"So?", Kendall joked, kissing his forehead. "I love you.", Kendall smiled, walking away.

"I love you!", Logan yelled back turning towards Carlos. "Fifteen hundred dollars?!", Logan squeaked.

Carlos shrugged. "I'm not gonna stop him, if it makes him happy. He saved up for it and everything.", Carlos chuckled, he suddenly stopped, sitting up from his position. "Oh shit, I should call Leah and Willow then..", Carlos spoke, pulling out his phone.

"Oh wow. I don't think I've seen them since we went on vacation two months ago.", Logan mentioned.

"Yeah us too, I miss seeing them but they've been traveling and growing their new life together, it's been like what? 4 months since their wedding?", Carlos said, tapping a last time and putting the phone to his ear.

"Oh wow, it's been 5 months since our last meet up wasn't it?", Logan said.

Carlos nodded, before hearing Leah's voice. "Leah? Hey! I know it's been too long! Yeah we're good, I'm here with Kendall and Logan right now. We decided that we wanted to grill up some food and we wanted to invite you and Willow over. Yeah? Great let's say 6? Okay.", Carlos smiled. "No YOU have to catch us up on everything!", he smiled, standing up from his seat and walking over.

Logan sighed with contentment, looking back at the glistening pool water under the sunlight. With the life he first began with to what he was able to live in now was the perfect shift that he needed. His happiness, love and loyalty made him devoted to this new life, his best life with the man of his dreams and with the greatest friends in the world. He was lucky and knew that his younger self would laugh, never thinking that his life would end up like this. He proved himself wrong, now a long time after, he was happy, in love and free.

He felt he didn't have to, but he never wanted to take his reality for granted. From with what happened with David, he became more vigilant and soon wanted to prepare himself to be safe when he has do some ugly things.

He also knew he didn't have to, because he knew that Kendall would always be there for him, no matter what.

Logan looks back up towards Kendall looking intensely at James as James continued to ramble about the grill's designs.

Logan knew he was right.

All he could ever need was his husband.
