ch 2: THAT WAS FUN...
Eventually, the 'couple' agree to go into downtown and catch a movie. Netto wonders
if maybe that their friendship will last longer now... or if maybe it will end sooner. They
are finally at the theatre after about 20 minutes of riding the MetroLine. Chisao sits at
the very front, while Netto and Meiru sit next to eachother in the third row. Netto starts
to say something, but Meiru cuts him off telling him that it was the best part. She
gradually scoots closer to him until the end of the movie, where at that point she is on
his lap. He puts his arm aroung her as they walk out. She looks at him and smiles.
Chisao looks at them and then realizes that this was a date. Meiru tells Netto that she
really, TRULY, likes him. He smiles, then leans in, and share a passionate kiss.
Chisao finds this funny. They all start talking:
Netto: That was fun...
Meiru: That was a great kiss...
Netto: Really?
Chisao: That movie was scary...
Netto: So...
Meiru: First date was cool...
Netto: Yeah...
Chisao: That movie was scary...
Netto: You already said that...
Chisao: I know... but it was...
Meiru: Yeah... we understand...
Rockman and Roll, having known that the date had gone well... realize that their plan worked,
and that now Netto and Meiru's friendship and/or relationship was even stronger.
