Ok... I guess I need to write an author's note so as to clarify some things as some of you didn't understand the story. I mean, yes it was scary, it was meant to be scary! As I said I wanted to write something a bit different. So of course it's not a fluffy-making-feel-good story but OMG what's-the- hell-is-going-on one. Although I knew that it was not very likely to make you all jump of happiness, as people don't really things which are that different, I thought I might still give it a try.

So for those of you who haven't understood: erotomania is a disease (a real disease) of the mind which makes people live in delusion in which the object of their affection loves them back and they for example are having an affair. (On the subject you could watch the very good movie: A la folie, pas du tout). In my story Mia is both erotomaniac and schizophrenic. I guess you all know what schizophrenia means. But in case you don't, here's the definition: Erotomania: "a long-term mental disorder of a type involving a breakdown in the relation between thought, emotion, and behaviour, leading to faulty perception, inappropriate actions and feelings, withdrawal from reality and personal relationships into fantasy and delusion, and a sense of mental fragmentation." (New Oxford dictionary of English, Oxford University Press 1998).

So Mia, being crazy for the purpose of the story, never went on date with Michael. She only thought she was. Michael never says that he would be on date with Mia! No, he says he'd be with his girlfriend (which later turns out to be Judith). Mia was the one stalking them but she really though Michael and she were a couple. And also she imagined Judith was kind of stalking him. In fact she just looks at Michael and Judith and puts herself into Judith's shoes. And gives Judith her own (shoes).

Hope you've understood now. I guess I got the idea because my ex best friend turned out to be schizophrenic. She was speaking with invisible people and all and she even sent me a death-threatening letter for my birthday once. Of course she had been totally normal during our first three years of friendship. So things like that happens, you know. But I'm still kind of traumatised.

Anyhow, of course you don't have to like the story. And if you want to read a more optimistic and more Princess Diaries like story, you can always read my other story: "Surprises". I swear it's not at all the same genre of story. It's not scary! And easier to grasp!
