A/N: Final part of the three shot look at what certain couples in the Harry Potter universe want. The other two are Het [Ron/Hermione and Harry/Ginny] and your welcome to look them out and review if you want.
Sirius wants forgiveness. He craves it like he craves air and food and Remus. He needs it before he can move on and heal, but the people he needs it from are all dead or disgusted by him so he writhes in purgatory with out it.
Remus wants love. He doesn't think he deserves it, he doesn't think he's worthy of it because of what he is and what he's done. But he wants it all the same, and he carries it like some secret sin, painful in its guilt.
It feels strange to have forgiveness, Sirius thinks, his hands in Remus's hair and his lips on Remus's mouth, but perfect all the same. Like being released and yet somehow grounded, made sober by its appearance.
Remus does not think, does not have to. He lets himself fall into redemption, into love with the happy sigh of a guiltless soul.
