Ok so I've been super invested in the ship Bakunette or Bakumari or Marinette x Bakugo but I feel like I've already run out of fanfics to read. So I figured I'd write one myself. Don't worry, I'll be working on Phantom Hotel some more now that I'm writing a bit more. I'd love to hear what kind of things ya'll would like to see in this story since they'll be going on some adventures as well!

Enjoy!

Chapter 1:

Admittedly he was a little nervous. Ok, a lot nervous. He had just barely been able to convince Kacchan to come with him to Paris and now that they had gotten on the plane with as minimal difficulty as he could have traveling with Kacchan, the doubts had begun to set in. What if she gets upset, maybe even angry, with them for planning this with her best friend. Of course, it had been Chloe who had convinced him to come to Paris in the first place when he had mentioned just how much he missed his cousin so if anything it would be her that Marinette would be upset with. But he wasn't the type to push blame onto others so if Mari did end up getting angry, they would take the blame.

"You're overthinking it, aren't you, Deku?" Bakugou asked, startling the boy out of his thoughts.

Midoriya looked over at his childhood friend(?) and couldn't help but blush slightly at just how easily the blond boy had read him. He had thought his explosive classmate had been sleeping with his headphones on but the one eye stare that Katski had been giving him was very much awake. Midoriya rubbed the back of his neck, slightly embarressed mostly to the jet lag.

"I guess so, Kacchan." He nodded, turning back to stare at the back of the seat in front of him where an older lady was snoring. He guessed that even in first class, they'd still have to deal with other passengers on the plane. "What if she gets mad at us for not telling her about us coming to visit her? Mari is scary when she's mad. Scarier than you."

"Only because we haven't seen her in so long. We're not used to how spontaneous the little firecracker can be when she's angry." Bakugou said, a small fond smile on his lips as he thought about their childhood friend.

"Are you going to tell her when we see her?" the green haired boy asked, knowing his friend knew what he was talking about.

"I dunno yet…"

After a long flight, the two boys grabbed their bags and headed toward the offboarding exit. Lugging their bags, Midoriya sent a few texts to their friends back in Japan to let them know that they made it safe and sound.

"Hey Deku. What's this girl look like again?" Bakugou asked, looking around at all the other patrons in the airport.

"Oh, she's blonde and she told me she'd be wearing yellow." Deku explained, looking around as well.

They both seemed to lock on to one girl who had her long blonde hair in a ponytail and was holding a sign that said 'Deku and Kacchan' surrounded by little yellow hearts. It was pretty clear that this girl was the same energetic girl that Midoriya had talked to plenty of times on the phone.

"There she is." The two boys nodded to each other.

"Who told her she could call me Kacchan?" Bakugou asked, glaring at the sign.

"She must've thought it was ok since Mari and I called you that." Deku tried to soothe his anger prone friend. "We'll have to let her know when we get in the car."

His blonde haired friend only gave an impassive growl, a scowl on his face as they walked over to the energetic blonde girl. Her eyes lit up and she waved at them, her little white purse bumping against her yellow sundress.

"Finally! You must be Deku and Kacchan!" Chloe cheered. "Welcome to Paris!"

Jumping forward, she wrapped Midoriya in a hug, which left him flustered while one glare from Bakugou stopped her in her tracks.

"Call me Bakugou." The blonde boy almost growled, crossing his arms.

Chloe seemed to hesitate, shocked by the boy's animosity, before recovering and smiling. The sign having been forgotten at her side as she pulled out a bright yellow phone and read a message that had popped up on the screen.

"Alright." she started. "The two of you need to eat and change before Marinette comes by for our weekend sleepover and her big surprise. Deku, is it ok for me to call you Deku?"

It seemed that Bakugou's animosity had been taken very well by the girl as she had gone right into planning. Midoriya nodded, smiling as to not seem as rude as his friend.

"Yeah, it's fine with me. Sorry, I should've mentioned Kacchan." He apologized. "When is Marinette supposed to get to the hotel?"

"She said she'd be a bit late since she said she has some hero stuff to do. She's gotten a lot busier since Hawkmoth found out her identity." Chloe explained, starting to walk as two suited men went to take the boys bags.

"When did that happen?" Bakugou asked, concern in his voice.

"It happened pretty recently." Chloe explained, as the trio walked out onto the pick up area. "He had her followed home to her parents bakery and has been sending akumatized victims after her one after the other. Luka, Kagami, Nino and I have been helping her a lot since Chat noir went silent."

The blonde girl didn't even hesitate as a long, black, sleek limo pulled up in front of them and one of the suited men opened the door for her to climb in. The two boys exchanged glances as the reality of just how rich the blonde girl was had finally settled in along with the new info she had just provided them.

"Wait, Chat noir went silent? When did that happen?" Midoriya asked as he climbed into the limo followed by Bakugou.

"After the first battle when Marinette's miraculous timed out and we had to step in and distract the akuma from her so she could recharge." Chloe explained, her tone becoming more soft and sad. "He had had this look on his face when she stood there in her civilian form that I'll never forget. He just looked so… lost."

Silence seemed to fill the limo as the driver took them into the busy streets of Paris.

"Anyway, we don't need to worry about that right now." Chloe brightened up, clapping her hands together and shocking the two boys out of their thoughts. "What we need to be thinking about is your outfits. Tell me you bought something better than this."

She gestured to the two boys' outfits. They had both chosen comfy clothes for the plane ride; hoodies and sweatpants. Of course with their own little touches to them. But the look that Chloe was giving their clothes made it seem like she was offended in the worst way possible.

"What's wrong with our clothes?" Bakugou growled. "Mari made my hoodie."

"I love her but this isn't the greatest outfits to greet her in. She's a designer, remember? I couldn't bare to have my bestie be greeted by two homeless people." she gave a tsk noise and shook her head in disappointment. "We'll have to get you some new clothing."

"But we brought clothes." Midoriya argued but the blonde girl only shook her head so hard that the boys thought she'd smack herself with her long ponytail.

"You're in Paris. The fashion icon of the world." Chloe grinned at them. "I'll have to treat you."
