In a Birch forest, snowflakes gently floated through the air. The trees towered over the landscape, devoid of any leaves as it was wintertime. The forest floor was covered in a blanket of glistening white snow. The forest was eerily quiet, only the occasional chirping of birds and the scurrying of rodents interrupting the silence.
The tranquility of the forest would be broken with the arrival of a large Klaxosaur. The Klaxosaur was of a serpentine form, looking similar to a massive Cobra. The hood and underbelly of the Klaxosaur was of a bright-blue color while the rest of its body was charcoal-black. The eyes of the Klaxosaur were bright blue with snake reptilian eyes.
The Klaxosaur slithered at a fast pace through the forest, knocking down trees with its body.
Nawabari, stop. I can feel the presence of brethren, we are very close.
The Klaxosaur stopped in its tracks and lowered its head to the ground. Opening its mouth, the Klaxosaur Princess stepped out of its mouth and outside into the forest. Her feet landed on the snow, making a foot imprint. The Princess did not wear any clothing whatsoever, despite the frigid temperature outside, having the ability to regulate her own body temperature. Behind her back were her cybernetic tentacles.
She glanced around at her environment, gently sniffing the air.
Found you.
As the Princess began to walk away, Narabari nudged her in concern. The Princess turned around and rubbed her hand on the snout of the Klaxosaur.
Do not worry Nawabari, I'll be safe doing this. Remain here and I'll be back.
The Klaxosaur complied, nodding its head. The Princess then promptly turned around and began to travel through the forest quickly with the help of her cybernetic tentacles.
A young boy stood by a tree, holding the hand of a strange horned child. Their faces were frozen with fear. Surrounding them were several masked soldiers, cocking their guns directly at the children, the gun's lasers aiming right at their foreheads.
"Nowhere to go, we are surrounded!…" Hiro thought, "...But…but I can't let her go back!"
Hiro then put himself in front of Zero Two in an act of protection, who was shyly hiding behind him. Both backed up into a tree as the soldiers slowly approached them. One of the soldiers reached their arm out to get Zero Two.
"I will protect you no matter what, I will get us out of here as I promised!" Hiro thought.
Hiro then attempted to charge at the soldier who was trying to grab Zero Two. Before he could act, one of the other soldiers struck Hiro's head with the butt of his gun. Hiro collapsed to the ground, knocked out by being hit.
Zero Two stared in shock, seeing Hiro fall to the ground as a soldier placed a boot atop of him, pinning him down. She was completely helpless, with two other soldiers grabbed her arms roughly and they pulled her away. Zero Two tried to resist the soldiers pulling her away, tears streaming down her face in anger and fear.
"AWWI… AWWI!" Zero Two shouted in desperation.
LEAVE MY BRETHREN ALONE HUMANS.
The voice rang through the heads of the soldiers and Zero Two, it was so loud some dropped their guns. The soldiers became alert and pointed their guns around the forest, locating what was in the forest. The soldiers holding Zero Two dragged her forcefully and muted her by placing their hand over her mouth.
"REPORT DID YOU FIND THE ENEMY, OVER?"
"NEGATIVE, KEEP GUNS OUT, OVER."
"AFFIRMATIVE, OUT."
"GET CODE 002 BACK TO THE GARDEN, DO YOU UNDER…"
Before the soldier could respond a black tentacle impaled the soldier next to Hiro at lightning speed. The soldiers then began to frantically shoot at their surroundings, attempting to kill whatever was attacking them. One after one, the other soldiers were impaled by the tentacles. Taking advantage of the chaos, Zero Two bit down as hard as she can on the soldier's hand holding her. The soldier yelped in pain and released her, who was then promptly killed by the fast-moving tentacles.
Laying on the ground in fear, Zero Two looked back up. The soldiers that once threatened her were nothing more than bloodied slain corpses. Splattered blood stained the snow and an aura of silence took over the forest. Zero Two crawled to Hiro, turning his body over. Hiro was still out cold, with a stream of blood across his face from his wound.
Closing her eyes as tears continued to pour, she hugged Hiro's body tightly, hoping that he would wake up once more.
"Awwiii…" Zero Two cried as she shoved her head onto Hiro's body, choked up with tears.
The sounds of footsteps could be faintly heard, with Zero Two perking up looking around the forest where they were coming from. She feared another human but it was not. A horned female with long white hair and blue azure-colored skin, covered in black marks appeared from behind the trees. Behind her back were blood-stained cybernetic tentacles, the same used to slay the five soldiers trying to capture her.
"So you are the one that caught my scent…" the Princess commented.
Before Zero Two could react, the Princess used one of her tentacles to capture and constrict her. Zero Two tried to resist and squirm to escape but she too was tightly held by the tentacle.
"Though… this little one is not the only one giving out the scent of our blood…" the Princess continued.
The Princess then stared down at Hiro on the ground, using her tentacles to pick him up. She brought his body close to her and she gently sniffed him.
"This human… has some of our blood?.." the Princess thought.
"AWWI! AWWI!" Zero Two continued to shout, trying to reach Hiro.
"SILENCE!" the Princess snapped.
The Princess' voice rang through Zero Two's head. Zero Two then became quiet, wincing due to the intensity of her reaction.
The Princess then looked back at Hiro and then licked Hiro's face.
"So this human has a trace of our blood within him…" the Princess pondered, "Intriguing… I'll take this human back along with the little one too, there's something special about this one…"
Acting quickly, the Princess darted off from the scene, running quite fast with the help of her cybernetic tentacles.
After a brief trip across the woods, she met up again with her Klaxosaur, Nawabari, who had been patiently waiting for her safe arrival back. Nawabari then took a glance at the boy and the girl that she carried in her tentacles, curious on who they were.
"Don't worry Nawabari, they are safe under my protection." the Princess stated, "We must go now, the humans will be here at any moment."
Opening its mouth, the Princess walked in and took a seat on the Klaxosaur's tongue. Looking behind her, the Princess checked on Zero Two and Hiro. Hiro was still out cold while Zero Two fell asleep. To make them more comfortable, the Princess loosened her tentacle's grip on them.
In the distance meanwhile, the loud blaring of sirens were going off at the Garden.
"Foolish humans, these are my children now," the Princess scoffed while smirking, "Heh, do not bother for them APE, I shall raise these two right."
Nawabari then closed its mouth, turning around and quickly slithering away. The Klaxosaur disappeared into the thick fog that enveloped the forest.
