Of Divinity

Oh, so handsome and soft looking when the moon shines down into the common room like it does. So tufty his hair and so willowy his frame. My knight in the dark, my white horse in a mountain of black sheep. Such a saviour in a world of such knee-deep despair. His blue eyes shining in sparkle of boyhood and innocence.
Lord make me an instrument of your peace,
Where there is hatred let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
He's laughing now. He's sharing a piece of chocolate and spreading over his brother's Herbology homework, helping him through the tough questions (which are most, for Dennis.)
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, light.
And where there is sadness, joy.
If any others understood what I see when I look into those eyes - such divine eyes, and no hint of exaggeration. Divine, of divinity. Of endless skies and sunny rays and the hope of the entire world, in those eyes...his eyes. I'm not a romantic person but I cannot help but succumb to the silliness and childishness of the azure. Azure is such a contenting colour, isn't it?
O divine master grant that I may
not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love.
But will he ever understand? I've only grasped this wonder, this holy, this accursed boy with the weight on his shoulders heavier than his father's milk-carrying bag, and he doesn't even know it. Curiosity in the lives of others has blocked the vision he has in any aspect of himself. But shall he know, he may be destroyed for strong his body may be, he is a child still. A boy. My age but younger. Powerless, so he thinks.
Ignorance is bliss.
May he never know.
For it is in giving that we receive-
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned.
And it's in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen.

SPOILER ALERT
SPOILER ALERT
This is dedicated to the final revelation of Book Six's title : Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. This is obviously one of my theories. If you didn't get it....go read the series again. =P Song credits go to Sarah McLachlan and whoever wrote the Prayer of Saint Francis. It just... fit.
