I stare at you with a sodden face.

Knowing my love's been misplaced.

Trapped within your unfeeling gaze.

I see that there is no way....

You'll feel the same way about me.

How foolish could I be?

To think you'd return my affection.

And yet I see the rejection...

Reflected in your eyes.

As you don't disguise...

The disgust you feel.

It's enough to seal..

My unfortunate fate..

And I will no longer wait..

To feel the soft touch of your lips.

As I must come to grips..

That you feel nothing for me.

I was an idiot not to see.

And since you have nothing to give.

Tell me why should I continue to live?
