The Vision
chapter one bad news
Ollie bent down to pick up the discarded newspaper her sky blue shoulder length hair moving slightly.
straitening up she unfolded the newspaper and her eyes were immediately drawn to the title.
4 BLADE BREAKERS KILLED IN PLANE CRASH
frowning slightly Ollie's sea blue eyes continued to read the article her frown deepening as she continued.
" in a horrific crash today four members of the world famous BLADE BREAKERS were killed. Tyson Granger, Max Tate, Kenny Dale and Ray Kon were travelling back to America to be reunited with their team leader Kai Hiwatari who has been recovering from a broken wrist. the team were planning to meet at the Stanford airport in Florida. But before landing the pilot of the flight from Hong Kong lost control of the plane causing it to take a nose dive and crash killing all passengers on impact. there has been no comment from Kai but a close source has said that he is deeply upset about the loss of his team members."
Ollie stopped reading and shoved the paper in the back pocket of her baggy blue skate jeans. checking both ways for traffic she stood up on her black bmx bike and started to make her way to the flat she shared with her team members.
at their flat
Friday was sat in the living room playing her black bass guitar when she was interrupted by Ollie crashing through the door.
" what the .." Friday started to say her dark purple eyes widening in shock
"Fri you are never going to believe what's happened" Ollie gasped pulling the crumpled newspaper out of her back pocket. and tossing it in Friday direction while collapsing on the couch.
" Ollie what have i told you about doing that you scared me!" Friday said ignoring the paper that had landed at her feet. pushing her waist lenght black hair back behind her ears "I mean knocking isn't that hard is it?" she continued
" for god's sake Fri just read the bloody newspaper!!!" Ollie yelled losing it. throwing Ollie a dirty look Friday picked up the newspaper and started to read her face paling as her eyes read on.
" oh my god " she gasped looking up at Ollie. who stared back a grim look on her face.
"I can't believe it" she gasped a tear running down her face.
" hey don't cry" Ollie whispered moving over to sit next to Friday hugging her.
" but Ray was my best friend and he's dead and I don't want him to be!" she cried out and pushing Ollie out of the way she jumped up and ran from the flat. Jumping up to follow her Ollie was interrupted by strong arms holding her back. spinning round she found herself face to face with Criss their 3rd flatmate and also team mate.
" let her go Ollie let her go"
