Sum: The Giant Squid tells his story. In a stroke of genius I wrote this.

Confessions of a Drama Squid

Now most of you people know me, I'm the Giant Squid. I really don't have any other names. Being The Giant Squid is quite interesting. I meet a lot of talented witches and wizards here at Hogwarts. Sometimes I come up to the shore and let the kids play with my tenticles or just tease them harmlessly. If I'm lucky, some of the more concerned will bring me snacks and treats from the Great Hall. Snacking on most of the fish down here for days gets really boring, but it wasn't always like this you know.

I have lived in this lake for over 300 years on Saturday. I was brought here by a man named Pheeses. He brought me here after I hatched, Giant Squids hatch, and left me here because he had no lake. He was of course a muggle and somehow stumbled on to Hogwarts. He couldn't see the castle, but he knew something about this place was different by the way he hurried. I don't mind I like it here. The children are so nice. At least most of them are.

I remember every student who came down to my shore. Some were so clever!! Yes, it really is neccessary to brag on my students. But others were confused, confused about what they should be doing there. I remeber one such student who made my squid sense tingle.

Tom Marvolo Riddle (A/N has any one but me realized that Voldemort is 69?) was a really bright kid. But he didn't have a lick of good in him. Sure his story was sad, he told me it one day. But that is no reason to wipe out all good in the world. I knew there and then that he would cause a great deal of trouble.

There is of course, Rubeus Hagrid, probably my best human friend. He was the one who would bring me lots of treats. I love Hagrid. He was expelled in his second year though, for keeping another friend, Aragog. Dumbledore let him stay on as Gamekeeper and now he is the Care of Magical Creatures teacher. He still brings me snacks. And he is even planning a lesson with me.

There is another one who occasionally brought me snacks. A boy who was immerssed in the Dark Arts. Serverus Snape wasn't all bad, but he did have a nasty temper.

Now probably the ones I remember the most would be the Marauders. Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, Sirius Black, and James Potter. Boy were they fun to have around. Sirius especially enjoyed it down at my lake. It gave him a sense of freedom he wouldn't have later on. They were probably the most popular people to have ever been at Hogwarts. Sadly though, James Potter wouldn't live to see his son's days at Hogwarts.

The famous Harry Potter I am still learning about. He surly is a mysterious one. Beat Voldemort he did. Yes, an old squid isn't afraid of that man. Potter has done some pretty great things. I remember when he dove into my lake in his fourth year because he was the fourth champion. I watched that kid swim further down and down and admired his bravery. Students who come around now a days only can talk of him. He most hate is all.

His friends are nice too. Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley have come around quite a few times. But Ron's older brothers are the best. The twins Fred and George share their ideas to wreak havoc with me. They'd sit on the shore with their friend Lee Jordan and just talk and talk and talk. But they're gone now, gone because of that Umbridge. Boy did I have a lot of fun with that one. The centaurs I have known for a very long time too brought her to me after they had finished with her. Still having fun actually.

So you see being a Giant Squid is important too, you get to know a lot of interesting people. And you my fine friends, are the first to know of my story. Spread it around so others may here the confessions of a drama squid. :)
