"A Bed Full Of Emotions"

It was a dark and stormy night, raven paced silently through the dark halls of the tower's top floor. She looked out of the window and saw the cars and trucks flashing their lights across the lake. A police car just recently pulled up to a few smashed cars.

All of this waiting, all of this hoping, all of this destruction; it was depressing for Raven. She was depressed because she didn't know if Beast boy loved her or not. She could put up with his jokes, his foul humor and displaced happiness. It was worth it for her, just to look into his deep emerald eyes. But she knew deep inside her heart he didn't love her. The emotional scars from him could tell the tale too easily. They were long, jagged scars made by reckless words. How could she live with so much pain, the pain of rejection or pain of despair?

Raven walked down to her room to find some of the cookies Beast boy had recently baked for her. Raven wasn't sure if they were a sign of affection, or if they were an act of friendship. She could only hope that they were of affection. They tasted good. They reminded her of how much she loved him. It was like a passion of hers, thinking of him. Something she couldn't let go of, it embraced her so much.

It was a late hour and the storm had only grown to be disastrous. The lightning had already reached a few towers and they burst into flames. Raven couldn't stand the thought of all those people dying, not in the Beast Boy loving state that she was in. Such thoughts consumed her, so greatly that she cried and ran to the roof to meditate. She had to clear her mind.

Raven meditated slowly and thoughtfully as she gazed into her own mind. She thought to herself:

"I am in no mood to do anything to save these people, I feel so worthless. I feel lost, lost and confused by my own thoughts. If Beast boy doesn't love me then who will? Why do I even bother to try for him? What am I going to do?"

Raven gazed upon the city, and with a wisp she was up in the air flying though the buildings and towers. She needed to get away from her problems. Looking at everyone else's seemed to calm her. She didn't feel like she was the only one experiencing such thoughts. Finally after a few hours of flight, she flew to the bottom of the Titan Tower to see what her team members were up to.

At this time it was 6 A.M., the titans had begun watching the movie "Pirates Of The Caribbean."

"Hey Raven what have you been up to?" asked Robin.

"Nothing really, there's a lot of depressing things going on down town. Fires, car accidents and even robberies." Said Raven. "By the way, do you know where Beast boy is?"

"He's in his room crying, we have no idea why. Not that any of us really care." Said Cyborg. At that Raven glared at him.

"Fine, if you guys don't care. I'll go see what's wrong with him."

Slowly, Raven walked towards Beast Boy's room. Raven had never actually been inside his room before. She has always been too embarrassed.

"Beast boy, what's the matter?" Raven asked nervously.

"Go away Raven, I need some time to myself. I have been having some troubles the past few nights. Just leave me in peace," Begged Beast boy.

"As have I. Do you have any idea how many things have went wrong in my life?" She quickly thought about how much she loved Beast Boy.

"I don't know Raven, and I don't want to know. My problem is too personal. I don't know how to describe it. It's not worth your time for me to explain. Just leave me alone Raven. I want you to leave..."

END OF CHAPTER. Sorry for the long wait of chapter 2, I just haven't been able to get around to writing it. Hopefully I can get it up within a few more days.
