Title: My Way Pairing: KibaShino Summary: Curiosity may have killed the cat, but Kiba likes to think that any self-respecting dog can kick curiosity's ass.

Kiba lunges, teeth and nails and way too much animal instinct, ripping down the obnoxiously tall gray collar and crushing his lips against Shino's. The Aburame, needless to say, is shocked. He reels backwards from the sheer weight applied so suddenly to his front side, his fall stopped by the building's large wall.

His skull cracks painfully into said wall, but Shino isn't paying too much attention to that - he's a bit preoccupied by the hot lips smothering his as he attempts awkwardly to breath, and the too-sharp teeth that are biting down on his mouth, bruising and raw - but all in all, it's not an unpleasant experience.

And Kiba's hands are in his wild hair, harsh and demanding, yet careful enough to not squash any unwitting bugs crawling in there. Calloused thumbs hook beneath the frames of Shino's ever-present sunglasses as Kiba lips and tongue provide far too effective of a distraction, and Shino doesn't seem to notice until Kiba is pulling back, and pulling his glasses straight off, clutching them like some hard-earned prize as he stares expectantly, waiting for Shino's eyes to slide open...

And when they do, it's quite possibly the memory Kiba will recall most vividly whenever he is reminded of his stoic, silent teammate: parted, kiss- swollen lips, flushed cheeks, and startlingly clear bright-green eyes - the most expression he's ever seen written across Shino's composed face, and he likes it.

Amusement flashes briefly in the green depths of Shino's eyes, and he catches his breath as he glances towards his sunglasses, snugly clutched in Kiba's thieving hands. "You could have asked me to remove them," he informs the all-too-smug looking Inuzuka, who simply grins a Cheshire-cat grin in return, and licks the tips of his canine teeth.

"I like my way better."
