But she was free as well, free for the first time in 32 jears, free of the pain and humiliation she experienced since the first day she was born! And she knew that she would rather die a horrible death in cold space, then ever going back there!
She was scared, this was the first time she saw anything other then the place she came from! An endless black void Surrounded her and the small sphere shaped pod she escaped in!
She read about it during her training, it was called space, and the bright little dots are stars, she never saw anything So beautiful and serene in her entire life!
"No time to admire the surroundings Raijin" she thought, "Do you want to be captured again?"
She shivered at the thought!
She escaped before, without much success though! And the punishment she got after that was not something she wanted too experience ever again!
Suddenly caught in a fit of rage she kicked the titanium wall with one of her armored feet! Her irrational action causing a huge dent into the pods hull!
She was startled out of her anger when she saw the damage she caused, "Raijin you fool!" "You almost destroyed your only chance of escape due to your recklessness!"
Her unnatural strength had never served her the right way, she was just too strong for her own good!
...And others, by the way!
She remembered when she was little that even the caretakers were no match for her, she was only a toddler back then and the caretakers had been full grown humans
She hatefully stared at her own reflection against the hull, she was a strange creature, an amalgam of hi tech cybernetics and plain human flesh!
"I'm only one, no people, no family, why do I exist?" She knew the answer of course; she was the first and only success in an experiment for creating crossbreed super soldiers!
But the experiment was a failure in itself because the two races they wanted to use for crossbreeding were not compatible! But by some fluke they managed to create her! And never succeeding again after that!
They tried to clone her as well, all with the same results; she was a mystery, an anomaly... a freak of nature! she thought bitterly!
She was so caught up in her own thoughts; she never noticed the small blue planet she was slowly approaching!
