Chapter 1- New Beginnings
Saroven Monisar Ravnos was a boy born from a witch mother and a vampire father. Saroven was the heir to the Ravnos clan throne, but decided to postpone his inauguration to the throne when Professor Albus Dumbledore, the Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, asked him to teach the new class at Hogwarts, the Advanced Defenses class. The new class would be a combination of the Defense Against the Dark Arts class and the Care of Magical Creatures class, but it would take it further, and discuss dark creatures, which, as Saroven knew, would include his own people.
Like Saroven, Lillith Liang had been asked to join the Hogwarts staff as the teacher of the new Summonary class. Now Lillith was nothing out of the ordinary, she had shoulder length black hair, and blue eyes, her skin was the typical tone for an Asian woman, and she was of average height. The one extraordinary thing about this woman was her amazing strength as a witch, which was needed to teach this new form of magic that had been brought over from her homeland of Asia. The new Summonary class would teach students to summon magical beasts with incantations.
As Lillith made her way up the sloping grounds of Hogwarts she could feel the power that laid within this place and knew now why it was considered one of the greatest wizarding institutions in the world. Lillith eventually made her way to the grand doors to Hogwarts and entered to find Headmaster Dumbledore, and the other teachers of the school, of whom she had not gotten acquainted with yet. Her eye caught that of a handsome young man, who looked to be about thirty, his skin was pale, his hair was white, not blonde, but snow white, he had a pair of sunglasses on, and was wearing a long black trench coat and black gloves and boots.
Saroven had reached the castle around noon to find that none of the teachers besides Dumbledore had arrived yet, as the teachers arrived Saroven went out to help with their luggage. Saroven didn't feel like a new teacher because he lived in the Forbidden Forest with his clan all his life, and has become quite friendly with the teachers at Hogwarts, and being a vampire he was quite skilled at legilimency so what he didn't know he could quickly search ones mind to find out. Being part wizard himself he was allowed to attend Hogwarts back when he was a child, but after completing his education he went back to live with his clan.
By three, all the teachers had arrived, except one, which surprised Saroven because all the teachers he knew were already there, and he knew all the teachers. Around 3:30 the last witch arrived, and as she stepped through the doors Saroven thought she was an angel; this witch came through the doors wearing a long white dress, her black hair in a bun, white silk gloves, the bottom half of her dress along with her sleeves were covered in feathers. Saroven never had immediate feelings like this for anyone in his life, what was going on inside of him, he didn't even know.
