The shrill cries of a baby could be heard through the night. The child had large
Emerald green eyes that were almond shaped, one of the few features he inherited from
His mother. On his head there was a thick mass of wild raven hair that he got from his
father and the long line of Potter men.
The only thing that was remotely odd about the small child was on his forehead there was
A lightning shaped cut. The cut looked new and was already starting to scar over.
The child was being carried by a large man wearing a long black cape who was trying
to calm to baby by whispering soothing words to him.
As the man and child vanished into the night men and women were appearing all over the
area. Some were shouting orders to others nearby, and as the man took the child he never
Knew what he was doing. By taking the child from the burning house he was taking the last hope
Another world held for the future.
Same time else where
An aged man who had a long white beared and wearing what looked like a dress was waiting
Patiently outside a well groomed house on Private Drive.
He looked around and found a small cat sitting on the brick wall.
"Well I should have know you would have been here"
The cat slowly started to get bigger until a strict looking women sat where the cat once had
been.
"Yes so the rumours are true then the Potters are no longer alive."
"Yes im afraid so however their child survived you remember young Harry."
"Yes of course I do but how is it possible for a child to survive when his parents couldn't."
"That I do not know."
Before the women could continue a low rumbling sound could be heard. And as whatever it
Was making the noise came closer the louder the noise was.
"Ah here's Hagrid now right on time."
A motorbike slowly flew down from the sky and parked on the neat lawn.
A giant sized man raised from the bike and moved towards the man and women.
"I hope the ride was well."
"Arre yes but professor I"
"What seems to be the problem'
"Professor I don't have Harry"
The usually present twinkle in the old mans eyes died at those words.
"I'm sorry Professor but when I went to collect him he was no where to be found. I searched the whole
place Sir and there was trace of him."
The aged man sighed things weren't going as he planned.
And at that the three disappeared leaving the neighbourhood once again quiet and at peace.
