Tokyo 2, a place people once called home, it was flooded, as some buildings were above the water like small islands, the city was once a replacement of the flooded first Tokyo, but it had ironically flooded as well. It had become a favorite spot for urban explorers and adventures, but there was something sinister lurking in the depths and sky. In the water was something somewhat humanoid in shape, the first had six holes in back emitting a yellow light, it had a mostly black body with bone colored shoulders, it had no head, as it's bird looking face was on its chest with a red core below it, the second one which was in the air was humanoid like the first but more pointier looking, more metallic with blades instead of hands, pink glowing insect like wings from its shoulders and with a red core on its arrow shaped head, as different as they seem they were going to the same location. Meanwhile a group of youngsters were on a raft, the stepped off the raft and when they found a road not submerged in water, they looked around when one found a telephone booth.

Shinji: Hey! I found a telephone we could use!

Asuka: well does it work?

Shinji: well let me try...

The young man shinji pulled out a picture of a woman, the young girl behind her, asuka was getting impatient, shinji dialed the number on the photo and put the telephone up to his ear, nothing.

Asuka: What are you stupid? Give me that!

Asuka yanked the Phone from shinji's hand, and dialed the number, again nothing.

Asuka: Yup. This damn phone isn't working.

Toji: Hey where is this misato person anyway? Wasn't she supposed to pick us up?

Kensuke: Yeah, weren't we chosen for something?

Ryo: Yeah, know that I remember, Shinji's dad called for something special...

Asuka: Yeah! He did!

The three young men, Toji, Kensuke,and Ryo were waiting by the raft. This group of youngsters have been friends for as long as they remember. They huddled up to get a better look at the photo, it showed a woman with dark hair making a "twice" sign with her hand.

Toji: So, were is she?

Asuka: yeah? Were is she? She was supposed to bring us to Tokyo 3 right?

Shinji: Well yeah, isn't Tokyo 3 a few miles away from here?

Kensuke: Yup!

Asuka: Well, it's decided. We're heading to Tokyo 3 on our own!

Tetsuya: who made you leader all of a sudden!?

Ryo: Shouldn't we wait a bit longer!?

Asuka: Well-

They were interrupted by the sudden appearance of the two giant humanoids. Fear had fallen onto the group, when then suddenly a car had appeared, the window rolled down to reveal the driver, she was wearing dark shades and had some dark clothes on, it's was Misato.

Misato: Get in everyone.

Everyone was suddenly surprised by the sudden appearance of Misato, but they listened to her and entered the vehicle. She started driving into Tokyo 3. They watched as several aircraft, ground vehicles, and humanoid machines much smaller than the two humanoids began to approach the two creatures and started firing to no avail.

Kensuke: Hey! I recognize some of those machines! You see those humanoid robots with the cannons on the top? Those are jet alone models! Those are TRIDENT units, both land type and air types! And those more human shaped robots, they're gryphons

Misato: You to know a lot of military vehicles don't you?

Kensuke: Yeah! I do!

Misato: Great to hear Kensuke...

Kensuke: Um, how do you know my name?

Misato: Well, I read the files on you youngsters. Your shinji ikari, your Asuka Langley sohryu, your Toji Suzuhara, and your Ryo Tsurugi.

Tetsuya: that's correct...

Shinji: So where are we going to? Why were we called here?

Misato: Your going to see real soon.

The military group continued firing on the creatures but still, they were unfazed. There was a bright energy blast from the eyes of the first one, destroying many units, the second landed onto the ground, retracting its glowing wings into its body, its blade hands began to glow, becoming longer, it then slashed at the remaining units with its energized blades. The youngsters watching from the car were shocked by what they were witnessing, some debris flew new the car, but luckily didn't hit the small group.

Soon, the group made it to a building that looked like a two Egyptian pyramids that fused partway with a glowing red outline near the top.
