The eva was launched from launchpad fast, it took a few seconds for it to reach the top, were in a distance, were the the targets.

Shinji: Target one Sachiel and target two Raziel in sight!

Misato: Listen up! You see those cores on Sachiel's chest and Raziel's face? That's what's driving them! Go for those!

Shinji: Un- Understood!

The young man moved the eva unit a little bit towards the angels, he felt, uneasy, afraid, but he tried to clench it all in, as everyone needed him.

Toji: You all think he can pull it off?

Ryo: He has to!

Kensuke: Yeah!

Asuka: If I had something to pilot, I definitely could!

Maya: hold your horses! You'll get your turn!

Hyuga: We'll just have to wait and see!

The two angels immediately rushed at unit one, Sachiel grabbing the unit, Shinji tried to retaliate, kicking at Sachiel, which temporarily worked, until Sachiel grabbed at unit one's arms and started breaking them. Shinji felt a horrible crushing pain in both arms.

Misato: That's not your arm! The synchronization effect is why your feeling the Damage the unit is being inflicted on!

Raziel slashed at Shinji with its energy blades, slashing at the waist, while Sachiel grabbed unit by the head and started jamming its energy lace at unit ones eye. To shinji, the pain was all too real. The energy lance sent unit one flying into a building, Shinji was knocked out, and unit one went completely limp. A red liquid came out were the eye was stabbed out and the many slashes on the unit's body.

Kensuke: Shinji!!

Ryo: is he alright?!

Misato: Everyone calm down! We need to get the pilot out of there!!

Gendo's eyes widened in worry. Everyone was in a panic, then, it began.

Misato: Abort the mission! We need to get the pilot out of there dammit!

Maya: There's something with sync ratio! The umbilical cord has been detached!

Hyuga: The unit is unresponsive!

Asuka: Wha- What's the hell is going on!?

Ritsuko: ...Berserker...!

Unit ones eyes lighted up, it started to move it got up, the bolts on it's jaws fell off, opening them and letting out a frightening howl, it sounded mechanical, but there was something guttural and muffled with it. Gendo seemed less worried, and whispered something.

Gendo: We've done It.

Eva unit one made a mad dash at the two angels, crashing into Sachiel and striking out at Raziel, before being blocked by a mostly yellow barrier, hexagonal in shape with some traces of a rainbow light. Sachiel had emitted the barrier in order to stop the eva In it's tracks, the arms ands slash wounds began to heal, it began to grab at the barrier.

Ritsuko: An AT field!?

Misato: It'll be impossible to get to the angels with that field up!

Ryo: Your saying these things have barriers?

Maya: Eva unit one's using its own AT field on the angel's!

Ritsuko: It's breaking through!

Misato: A-Amazing...

The AT field was broken through, the Eva unit proceeded to brutalize Sachiel, twisting it's arms, Raziel darted at unit one, it was about to slash unit one but the the Eva threw Sachiel at Raziel, slashing the angel's back and added Sachiel's suffering. Unit one the grabbed Raziel's arms crushing them and tossing the angel to the ground, unit one proceeded to violently stomp on Raziel's neck. As for the now completely helpless Sachiel, unit one proceeded to smash the red core, until it cracked. There was a large cross shaped explosion, destroying the angel Sachiel. Raziel however had escaped. It flew away from the explosion on it's glowing wings

Misato: What about Eva uni one?!?

Toji: What about Shinji!?!

There was heavy footsteps and a silhouette of something. It was evangelion unit one. It stopped in its tracks and completely went still like a statue.

Aoba: Eva unit one is alright!

Maya: First angel Sachiel has been annihilated! Second angel Raziel has escaped!
