A short poem from Frodo's point of view. It isn't
brilliant, but I'd appreciate a review, whether
you liked it or not.
A/N: Nothing belongs to me, the story and characters
belong to the estate of JRR Tolkien.
The Ring
I cannot sleep,
I cannot wake,
I cannot see,
I cannot be,
I cannot taste,
I cannot waste
I cannot smell,
I cannot yell,
I cannot remember,
I cannot live.
It has taken hold of me,
I am bound to its fate,
It lies in my hands,
Both itself and its fate,
I fight the temptation,
It grows too strong,
My life no longer exists.
All I see is the eye,
All I do is lie,
All I taste is ash,
All I smell is blood,
All I remember is his voice,
All I live for is death.
There is no life in the void,
Only death.
