Prologue
Waves crashed onto the beach as a man stared out the sea. His hair blew into his face, as the man sighed, watching the waves with tears in his eyes. He felt his heart break as he recalled the last few hours.
His love had left him. Not for another man, no, but for a woman. He remembered the other man's sneer and rude voice as he told the flabbergasted man of his upcoming marriage, and that their relationship was over. This man slipped a hand to his stomach, as he was shaken out of his thoughts by his best friend. It was with his broken heart that this man left the ocean and fell into the arms of his best friend, Molly Guy.
8 Months later, the same man gave birth to a bouncing baby boy, whom the couple named William Lucius Weasley, Lucius after his other father. Arthur married Molly just after William's birth, as to pass Bill of as Molly's born son. The couple went on to have six other children, born by Molly this time. Charlie, Percy, Fred, George, Ron, and Ginny, the baby and only girl. A spell was placed on Bill the night of his birth to hide his true parentage, and the Weasley family lived happily in their home, The Burrow, despite being poor.
Our story starts on August 9th, 1996, the summer before Ron, Harry and Hermione's 6th year at Hogwarts. The only people who know the truth about Bill's parentage are Molly, Arthur, and Albus Dumbledore, but that's about to change. A secret kept for more than 20 years is about to be unleashed.
