The Beast's Poem

I am, and always will be.
Don't try to change me!
I'll be whatever I want to be!

As a cheetah,
I'll run so fast,
Faster and faster,
Away from my past.

As a bird,
I'll fly,
To the sun,
Up so high.

A gorilla,
My fave.
Don't ask why,
I'll rant and rave.

I may be a freak,
I'm not a geek,
For what I am,
My actions will speak.

Give me a try,
Ask me why,
I won't lie,
My emotions fly,
Away....

For a friend,
I'll be there to the very end.

No matter what form I may be.
There's only one heart inside of me.
