Hey there everyone! It's been a while! Please forgive me for I know

that I haven't finished Thought You Loved Me yet, but this idea

just popped into my head while I was listening to a song and

I'm having a bit of a writer's block with TYLM. I hope you like this

new story because it's been a while since I've written.

Well on with the story I suppose!

Chapter 1

The day was one of the best in a while. After a bout of rain, the

sun was out and shining, and its rays seemed to favor a certain little girl with

golden blonde hair that was tied up into pigtails with little balls on the top of her head.

She had beautiful crystal blue eyes that seemed to give a new definition

to 'the eyes being the window to the soul'. She was sitting on the swing and trying

to go higher when she felt little hands pushing the swing to help. The little girl squealed

with delight as she felt the cool air blowing through her hair. When she noticed

that she was beginning to slow down and the loss of warmth the hands provided,

she turned around to see a small boy with ebony hair and midnight blue eyes.

The little girl stuck out a chubby little hand and offered it to the little boy.

The little boy looked at it for a moment before reaching out and taking it.

"Hi, I'm Serena!" greeted Serena.

"Hi...my name is Darien," replied Darien with a small smile gracing his lips. "How old are ya?"

"I'm four!" said Serena while holding up five fingers. "Hold old are you?"

"I'm seven and a half!" said Darien importantly while puffing out his tiny little chest.

Serena let out a little giggle, "Well do ya wanna play tag with me?".

"Sure! Why not?"

"Fine, you're it!" yelled Serena as she quickly ran away after tagging him.

Darien stood there in shock for a few seconds before her words finally

reached his ears. He quickly ran after Serena, determined to catch her.

End of Chapter 1

Ahh....I know it isn't much, but it's almost three in the morning. Well I know that

this story is just starting out, but I already have a couple of ideas in my head and

hopefully I'll be able to get it all down so that I can have this story complete.

I don't know when I'll be able to get the next chapter out, but I'll try to get it out soon
