My Snuggle Bunny
No one know this about my love,But this name fits him like a glove.
He loves to hold me all the time,
Even when I'm writing rhyme.
He is tenderhearted and a God,
We are like two peas in a pod.
But when I think of him, my honey,
He's just my big snuggle bunny.
Gabrielle was sitting at her desk when her husband Ares called her.
"GABRIELLE!" he yelled, as he popped into their bedroom.
"Yes, dear," smiled Gabrielle sweetly. "You bellowed?"
"Sorry, sweetie," said Ares, sheepishly, bending down to kiss his wife. "I'm a little irritated. Everyone on Olympus is laughing at me."
"Why?" asked Gabrielle, with a puzzled look on her face.
"It's that poem you wrote for me. Strife got hold of it and published it on the internet."
Gabrielle gasped. "My Snuggle Bunny? Oh, Ares, I'm so sorry. That was only meant for you."
"I know, sweetie. I love the poem and I love you."
"But, what will we do? I don't want people laughing at you." Gabrielle started to cry.
Ares wrapped his arms tightly around Gabrielle and said, "Shh, don't cry, sweetie. It's not a big deal. Strife's just looking for attention. I have an idea..." He proceeded to whisper his plan and made Gabrielle giggle. "That sounds perfect!" she said. "Let's do it!"
The next morning, Strife logged in to the internet. He was looking for new sneaky ways to play tricks on people, but all he found on his computer were links to a website called hugs4u.
A pretty young woman with black hair appeared in his room, shocking Strife. "Hi, Strife. I'm Elora, the Goddess of Hugs. I see that you found my website. My goodness... Ares didn't tell me how cute you are. I'm here to be your bride. I can hug you forever and ever. Isn't that great?"
She ran over to him and hugged him tight. "This feels... nice," said Strife, surprised.
"'Course it does," said Elora, smiling happily up at him.
"Now I know why Ares likes to hug Gabrielle all the time. Why did he send you, Elora? I thought he was mad at me."
"No, silly. He just pretended to be. This was all planned by Ares, so you would want your own hugs."
"I like hugs," said Strife, with a goofy-looking grin plastered across his face.
"Strifey, will you be my snuggle bunny?"
"I'd love to," said Strife, and shyly hugged his new bride.
