"Merry Christmas Darling"

Disclaimer: I'm don't own 7th Heaven. I also don't own the song "Merry Christmas Darling", that belongs to various singers from what I know of.
A/N: This set on Christmastime of The Other Sister and Changes Are A Looming. And yes, it's a Roxanne and Candler fic. What can I say...besides I need a life.
Well, here it goes...
"Where is he?!" Roxanne wondered out loud.
When she said 'he', she was referring to her husband of three weeks, Chandler Hampton. He was supposed to be home by now. It was Christmas Eve, after all. Why wasn't he home yet?!
Just then, the phone rang.
Roxanne picked it up. "Hello? Chandler? Is that you?"
"Yes it's me. I'm sorry I'm so late. I got held up at the church. I'll be home in ten minutes." Chandler told her.
"Thank goodness." Roxanne said, sounding thankful that he was finally coming home.
"Ok, I'll see you in ten minutes." Chandler said, sounding like he was in a hurry to get home.
"Ok, bye." Roxanne replied.
"I love you." Chandler added.
"I love you too." And with that, Chandler's line went dead.
Finally, Chandler was coming home and they'd get to spend a romantic Christmas Eve together.
Roxanne placed a hand upon her stomach. "Did you hear that, daddy's coming home." She spoke softly to her unborn child.
-Greeting cards have all been sent
The Christmas rush is through
But I still have one more wish to make
A special one for you...-
Later that night, Chandler and Roxanne were lying in bed together.
"I'm so glad you came home." Roxanne told him.
"I am too." Chandler replied.
"I love you, Chandler." As she said this, Roxanne remembered the first time they ever said those words to each other...it was on Valentine's Day ten months ago.
"I love you too, Roxanne." He replied.
The two then drifted off to sleep.
-Merry Christmas darling
We're apart that's true
But I can dream and in my dreams
I'm Christmas-ing with you-
Roxanne awoke the next morning. She then realized something: it was Christmas!
She turned over to the pillow next to her. "Chandler wake up, its Christmas." She got no reply. That was probably because Chandler wasn't there...he was gone.
Roxanne noticed a piece of folded paper on Chandler's pillow. She picked it up. It had: To Roxanne written on it.
-Holidays are joyful
There's always something new
But every day's a holiday
When I'm near to you
The lights on my tree
I wish you could see
I wish it every day
The logs on the fire
Fill me with desire
To see you and to say...-
Roxanne unfolded the paper. It was a note from Chandler.
It read...
Dear Roxanne,
I'm sorry to do this to you, but I had no choice. Eric called me down to the church for an emergency. I should be back sometime tonight. We'll have Christmas dinner and open up our presents then. Merry Christmas darling.
Love,
Chandler
Roxanne looked out her bedroom window and smiled. "Merry Christmas to you too, Chandler."
-That I wish you a Merry Christmas
Happy New Year, too
I've just one wish
On this Christmas Eve
I wish I were with you
I wish I were with you-
The End
A/N: I hoped you liked it. Song-fics aren't exactly my best. Oh well...review if you liked it.
