Don't you worry
what those bitter hearts
are gonna say.
-The Middle, Jimmy Eat World
Kisses sear and burn and trace, hearts beat and rush and break There is him and there is her, here is now and what you want isn't nessacarily what you get. For people create societies where one (e.g., Slytherin) must not amicably, much less romantically, fratrenize with another (e.g., Gryffindor). So secret passions are rendered incapable and shunned to the side as one's mind playing tricks on oneself.
He's that boy, you know, the one with that father and that last name and that reputation. She's that girl, how could you not know, no matter how hard she tries she'll be the one who returned You - Know - Who to Hogwarts.
And they grow in Hogwarts and they are courted and they are schooled and they are threatened like it is expected of Hogwarts students. There are boys for her to remember, faces and smiles and feelings and names - Micheal and Dean and Clark and Greg and, and of course, Harry. There are girls for him as well, only he tries to forget rather than remember - Pansy and Hestia and Talia and Elka.
The children that enter the halls of the school grow and graduate and venture into the big wide world out there. When one is without supervision, within no one's but his own jurisdiction, one is allowed to roam, encouraged to roam. And for that very reason the two end up, for lack of better phrasing, together.
She's betraying her family and making herself more infamous than before but he does't know this. He's running and hiding because for once, he's made up his own mind and he's not following anyone but his feet and his lack of money. She should, really, tell her Master that she's not only found the traitor Malfoy son but can also capture him. But she doesn't.
And passion isn't pardoned for titles and names because it's a warzone out there, literally, and sometimes everyone needs a release. Its quiet and hushed and they're big names in search of privacy. So through the chaos in which they form a relationship, social rules and their last names and what side of a war they fight on is unnessecary. As fast as their whirlwind affair began, it ended.
For people continue to live in a society where one war hero for the Light (e.g. Draco Malfoy) could never have had amicable relations, much less romantic, with one betrayer of the Light (e.g. Ginny Weasley).
Author's note: with those two recent Ron/Hermione works plus this, it's ovbious I'm going back to my old tendencies. Ah, yes, betrayer!Ginny is seen once more. As I stated in 'Again,' her as a traitor is one of my favorite fanonizations. And Draco went with the good, of course, irony is loff-er-lee. Okay, so this was disgrunted-y and stream-y and ... funk-ily formatted. Eep. I kindof wrote it that way because it was kindof like a rumor indepth, only told in third-person omnicient ... dunno. Take it how you like it. Insight into my life: I'm in Florida! My sister is throwing a fit so I, the eternal babysitter, am wrestling with her. ::claps:: Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson! So adorkble. Hah and now I'm sounding like a teeny-bopper so I'm leaving. Talk to ya'll when I get back!
Review, please!
